I liked ffx but i was a bit dissapointed in ffx-2 , it seems to be aimed more at girls rather than everyone :S and the whole game is a bit short

I don't think so, and the game wasn't short, have you ever managed the 100% happy ending??? that takes forever, i had to clock it 3 times to get it, and it's pretty damned good, i'm a male :P
