what i think this game caught up well, was the awefully difficult situation of combat in the taliban controlled area. once you fell behind enemies line or didn't cover well, you were dead. although AI was not specifily great, you still had to move step by step and couldn't afford rushing enemies territory like in other tactical FPS.

@indirulz1234 in real life, those guns don't have a lot of recoil. They fire small bullets and are very heavy guns. No real military weapon kicks a foot in the air every time you pull the trigger.

@82ndairborne100 there's several theories. i doubt we'll ever know for sure. it's possible that some "terrorists" were the henchmen, but who produced the execution, there's many theories. the newest leads to israel and the mossad, claiming their plan was to destabilize muslim states (by bringing american force to afghanistan and irak), which are a real threat to them.

This didn't hold my attention for long but it was 10x better than CoD.What I DID like about it was that when you had an LMG, like in this video, it's your job to suppress and cover not run around and get kills.When you do it right your AI squad will move in and get it done.Lot of people don't realize this and miss out on that aspect but the game is way too scripted for much SP replay value.#1 shooter for consoles:Operation Flashpoint.Anything less is really just a kid's game.GRAW2 maybe...maybe

@strigon11 It's amazing that people completely trash this game but act as if CoD descended from heaven.Wherever MoH is not the same as Cod it's better.It has an air of grit about it that Cod hasn't had since it's WWII games,like the part where your squad is getting overrun and the Apaches come in and save the day.Calling in airstrikes from the control tower and that damned AC-130 was badass too.All that was pretty hardcore and CoD has none of it.

@stnwllstv Agreed. And when you snipe using the barrett as Deuce, you can hear dusty tell you where to aim and stuff. And when you miss, he will say 'Missed low.' or 'too high'. That is realism. Plus, when you blow up your enemy with a grenade or RPG, the body parts don't go flying all over like in CoDWaW. In MoH you can actually feel as if you are there. Perhaps people are simply not used to playing such great games after playing COD.

@strigon11 Who knows why people hate it?Personally,I only enjoyed it myself the first couple times I played it,after that it was the same thing each time;totally scripted and too easy to beat.Way better than CoD though.WAAAY better!!Then again,so is my little girl's Hello Kitty Roller Rescue game.For a challenging console shooter you can't beat OpFlash.No rails,not scripted,never the same twice.Just don't try to drive anything and God's sake don't let your squad EVER try to.

@strigon11 I know, this game has so much more realism than COD. The jargon the soldiers use sounds authentic. You really feel the intensity and urgency of the battles. Like that part you mention where you're in the ruined hut, with Taliban encroaching all around you, and you're running out of ammo, and everything seems hopeless. My only complaint about the campaign in this game is that it was too short. But it was very good. Much better than the Red Dawn fantasy that is MW.

this game has many bugs again. It just a crap copying of Black Ops, it can't compete it, but this game has some more smell about real-life than CoD. But at all it's not so good. It has great graph till the video ends, then it goes bugging. At all it's good to watch, but I won't pay for it.

@erikjsvids I use free software called VirtualDub to compress the Fraps videos to a decent file size. The codec I use is x264vfw at a bitrate of 6000 & also enhance the sharpness a bit.

Fraps shouldn't record the framerate counter so when you play back the video you shouldn't see it.
