I think these videos of your own games are your best. Your commentary is much more fluid, and the subject matter just as informed. What really makes these videos, though, is the way we get to see inside your head as you explain your own moves. Brilliant work!
I've gotta say, this game made me late for work! I really appreciate(as a low-ranked player) these blunders thoroughly explained, in that respect this game was one of your best I think. Fantastic =)!
Watching this video, I thought I'd ask if you would do a video that aims at punishing weak moves from the opening, (white players not playing d4 and instead playing bc4 in sicilians etc.). I dedicatedly watch your videos but I'm not that great yet so when I play online one of my real sticking points is facing moves that are clearly not sound but I don't see how to tactically punish them yet, and/or alter my strategy exploitively. I'd be grateful for this kind of video or something similar.
I know what you mean treysfull, it can be very difficult understanding how to exploit small but important features of a position. The only way to truly grasp this difficult concept is with hard study. A good book to help you along is nimzowitsch's My System. It shows you how to take advantage when your opponent neglects the centre, neglects development, and leaves weak squares with pawn moves. Obviously, if you don't take advantage of poor moves then they carnt be considered poor moves!
Good tactical game. In such tactical positions, it is really funny to see how in 1 move you can be much better, and then the next move much worse lol. The more I work on my positional play, the more I question wether or not I still want sharp, tactical games. The problem is, I have had games were I have been slaughtering my opponent all over the board, and one slip has caused me to lose to much weaker players. I hate the smug faces they pull when you know you were wasting them lol.
I played in this match, unfortunately on the losing side, but it was fun to see the legendary kingscrusher in person. Nice video, and well played to the Muswell Hill team.
Can't castle at 4:27 no?

Don't worry about the game quality, the main thing about it is how to take a pawn, and that is the greatest thing: it Teaches us!
So thank you.
Best regards and keep up the good work.

If it's any consolation, I have struggled with Mr Bass in the past from similarly seemingly won positions.
Anyhow, good result for Muswell Hill and I hear they should be safe from relegation this season on account of a new star player they've signed?

Yep, it looks safer this season - thanks for playing for Muswell Hill this season! Good luck on Monday's match!
