What a great set of films. I have just watched them, the day after we have all got excited by the announcement of Nikons new D4, a technical masterpiece and here is someone with just a camera, all be it a 10x8 plate camera and producing great photography........excellent

Maybe. Even she said that if she had to do it again she wouldn't wish for the level of controversy it generated, not in those words exactly but in meaning. Her work is a reflection of her life and the world as she sees it. Would that all of us could have such an incredible experience.

Regarding the pictures of the children- if you listen to everything she says about that- her idea for them came from a completely loving and innocent place. Lots of people have naked pictures of their kids, i.e. in the tub, pool, etc. they just don't always publish them. The live in a free and liberal environment, so the kids ran around naked a lot. Why not? And speaking of it after the fact, its obvious that her mixed feelings regard the fact that she was taken aback by the outrage (cont)

What a inspirational women! She lives the kind of life I want to live when Im older. A simple laid back family life in the country. She is a great artist and photographer. We need more open minded and liberal individuals like her!
