Lots of egos., and that fuels jealousy. The other comedians are jealous. For me he is a genius. And notice how as a great comedian he NEVER, EVER uses swear words or vulgarity.
@janweltevreden I dont see the jealousy angle from other comedians tbh. Alot of camera angles these days like to capture guests awkward expressions. They might not find certain jokes as funny as the audience. However, I do agree with your opinion of Milton, hes a refreshingly good comedian whos brilliant at jokes without resorting to easy swearing to gain a laugh. Thats a very special talent these days.
@GamerInari That last one was brilliant, not this week's, but the week before, and it was because she sounded more like a male comedian. Plus, the reason most people find women funnier was on QI on Thursday,
This dude looks exactly like Stewart Francis, the Canadian one liner comedian and they both did work, health and family topics for stand up on Mock the Week... That is what you call coincidence
Milton is funny the first time you hear these jokes but he tells them over and over in lots of different vids, only funny so many times and while he is good he's still no frankie boyle
russell howard is so unfunny it makes me angry for some reason :s he's stealing attention away from people who can actually make you laugh aka. comedians. replace howard with milton.
The grandfather/lard joke is hysterical!! Best one-liner comedian around at the moment & have to agree about his confused look after each joke. He manages to be hysterically funny without swearing or being crude - a rare & wonderful talent! :D
@thecornishhymnal, same here. I only watched an episode earlier because of him. The other guests seemed to be trying not to laugh or even looking pissed off when it was his turn.
@thecornishhymnal The only reason i can think of is jealousy , because they are obviously pissin themselves at the punchline, you see as he walks to the mic , they're all thinking ''Oh noooo'', lol.
I have to say that Milton's Lard/Grandfather joke is quite possibly my favourite joke of all time. First time i heard it he stretched it out brilliantly just using the intro line "About a month before he died, my grandmother..."
at 0:35 it looks as if patrick's laughing AT milton as if he's not funny or something. if he is that's just wrong because miltons hilarious and i don't think that patricks funny at all
I feel like alot of people, especially stand up comedians who do observational humour, get very snobby about one liners. I don't understand why, it's not like this is cheap easy humour, I could NEVER come up with this sort of gold! Man's a genius.
@dramaticafantastica Also, in MtW if you're doing one liners you need so many to fill the time, compared to one drawn out joke. SO much genius in this man lol
@dramaticafantastica i dunno about that, i mean jimmy carr's made a living out of it and he's one of the biggest names in the business at the mo, plus tim vine's starting to become the mainstream big name he deserves to be. I think one-liner comedians are coming back into fashion
this guy knocks the rest out tof the park - a total masterclass in hilarity. And the lard gag is the funniest thing ive heard in ages. perfect, just look at how much the rest know theyve been beaten.
Is it just me who thinks he always looks slightly confused after he's told a joke and everyone laughs? Maybe it's just how he always looks, but it gives him a sweet, innocent quality that no other comedian posesses.
@holcat27 He's a Born-Again-Christian. It makes the innocent quality even funnier. He never swears and is rarely extremely rude, but hilarious. You like this you should listen to Another Case of Milton Jones. Comedy gold.
@holcat27 he does seen him live twice and was a great fan of his radio show for years its jokes that you have to think about and get pleasd when you get it
@holcat27 I'm sure it's intentional. Jokes always seem funnier if the person telling it seems to be ignorant of it. Paul Merton used to do the same thing.
@mcsammer4 i agree obviously no comedian can come up with those jokes instantly for 2 minutes but they haven't already prepared what they're gonna say glitchmasterz you twat
only the answers r scripted, everythin else is just improvised. they'll probly have a look at the categories b4 the show starts just so they have a few ideas but the answers r the only thing thats scripted.
