Oi Edgun você é realmente um eximio atirador, gostaria que você fizesse um video apresentando sua arma de ar e todo aparato que você utiliza. Seria muito legal!
you are lucky that you live in usa in my country the air rifles are limited at 720fps because of the law ..i bought a gamo cfr whisper .22 cal do you think i can kill something with that?
@SoCalTactical Find out what the local laws are & ask the police. You want to be a good neighbor, but if it is legal, then nicely inform your neighbor that it is legal & make damn sure that your plinking range cannot possibly put a pellet in his / her yard.
@SoCalTactical i used to shoot a low-power Daisy .177 on a half acre in town, and my neighbor 3 doors down walked over to our house and told me if he sees a single dent or hole in any of his property or any hurt animals, he would kill me :/
I was only 15 at the time.
But I learned that shooting outdoors almost requires several acres or you're bound to pizz off at least one neighbor.
what do you think of the crosman phantom 1000? I'm on a budget and it's only 80 bucks. my main purpose for it is small game hunting/pest control and plinking so accuracy is a must. thanks so much i love your vids.
@coyotehunter118 I've never shot a phantom. But, if the specs are accurate, it has the power for rabbit smacking and pest control. No idea about its accuracy, but if it's a Crosman gun, you'd be best to try Crosman Premiere and Beeman Kodiak pellets. Those two always seem to do well because they are made of hard alloy - capable of resisting "rough" barrels on the inexpensive Crosman guns.
Hey! check out my video please! and comment. i really think you'll enjoy the video where i shoot a pop can at 52 yards, open sights, break barrel. thanks!
@kingnick022 Yes - Absolutely! Privacy fences are usually made from 1/2-3/4" "softwood". A .22 pellet moving at 950ft/sec would be carrying around 35 ft/lbs of energy. It would blow right through the fence. ted.
LoL funny you should ask this. My son is now paying for a window in our neighbors house after shooting threw a fence at 50yds with a gamo shadow 1000. He was sighting in a new scope and missed the metal catch.
@neilmoomey Yup - pieced together from scraps from the shop. Rebar - galvanized tubing - SS plating, and washers. If you follow the facebook link on my channel page, you can see some photos of this plinker.
love the sound of the crack when the pellet goes past the camera (easier to hear on the misses) made the whole vid enjoyable great shooting. i could only wish i was as half as good :)
@XxBlazingModsxX I like that sound, too. :) So many people remove the sound and add audio tracks. I do not understand why. I can hear music whenever I want. The sound of the pellet whizzing by is not something you hear every day (at least, I hope not - lol). ted.
good shooting buddy keep them vids coming watched all of them already have you got any rabbit shoots planed? and have you tryed bisley pest control pellets yet?

Nice prone shooting on a very calm day. I liked the "confidence-building" shot, making sure all the parameters are there. What is it like shooting a bullpup with your cheek and ear so close to the action? Thanks for sharing.
@Crete1943 I have the action covered in neoprene (adhesive on one side). It makes resting my cheek very comfortable. It isn't bad without the neoprene, but I prefer to have it on. Thanks for your comment.
Well done mate 10 out of 10, i love your DIY plinking target and one of the best looking places to plink away. Thanks so much for posting this and your other great videos
Ted,
You look a lot like Dan Abrams .

My neighbor threatened to call the police because I was plinking in my backyard with an air rifle.
My target setup was steel swinging targets rated for up to .22LR behind that layers of plywood drywall some tin sheeting and than a cinder block wall.
What an ass.

do you think a .22 point pellet will go through a wooden privacy fence @ 950ft/sec?

How do you put the compressed air back into your rifle? Do you have your own pump? (Sorry I haven't watched any of your other videos yet)
bloodshot16 10 months ago
@bloodshot16 I use a high-pressure air tank - like the ones sold by airhog [dot] com. SCUBA shops refill them.

i made some aluminium targets and was wondering if a .22 would go through it
DeAtHxTHEPRO 10 months ago
@DeAtHxTHEPRO Likely - aluminum is much softer than steel. It would have to be pretty thick aluminum to stand up to a .22.
EdgunUSA 10 months ago
Nice shooting. Did you make that spinner? I like the diamond shape for scopes.

What kind of pellets are u using. I am searching for some pellets but I can't find any. Or just any pellets that you really like
67bballplayer 1 year ago
@67bballplayer I use JSB 18.1g almost exclusively. If the particular gun doesn't fire them accurately, I use Kodiaks or Premiers.
