I completely agree. Never been the biggest Obituary fan, love that type of music tho. I honestly would agree, that for me atleast, the vocalist from Asphyx and The Absence have to be my favorite death metal/thrash vocalists. And then there's also Heathen, where the vocalist actually sings. I like that a lot as well, bringing back the classic Megadeth/Anthrax zeal.

Both bands(hail of bullets and asphyx) have van drunnen on vocals but ASPHYX its been playing since the late 80s,the rack its their 1st album but they were playing for a long time before that.Van Drunnen and tardy are different styles,van drunnens voice is more powerful,tardy is more painful,they are both great. what is really dumb is compare asphyx and obituary,they have very different sound..
