theres a video here of a guy driving a new s class, he died cause he crashed it against a rail, the car was very undamaged but the rail got inside of the car and killed the poor guy,

im being serious, and the rail come ou of the trunk.

@SMB67T Correct, in fact these tests were conducted in 2005, 4 years before 2010 model was unveiled in April 2009. The test for this one was probably conducted in 2008, not like this one in 2005. It should be obvious to the uploader the differences.

@nukeonator Stronger is not good, if you look at the S-Class most of the body came off which is good because most the energy from the crash are transferred through the body and not through the passenger. Same reason why NASCAR or Formula F1 car build their bodies to come off easily when they have a crash. it's so they can minimize injuries to the passengers/driver.

lol just want to let you know ... side windows are usually made to shatter easily in the case of an emergency.

for example if a car falls into water, the only way out is smashing the side windows..... the windshield is made not to shatter tho :)
