  • And the Titanic just keeps on sinking..

  • How did you build the ship to sink so perfectly? Do you have separate compartments?

  • @TheLoserKingdom Yes; check out our how-to video on building the sinking Titanic model on our channel page to see the interior!

  • verry cool! realistic sinking too!

  • @VwErik88 Thanks!

  • @Rapidnadion Bye the whay, where did you get this 1:350 scale, i whant to have one too :)

  • If you look very closely when the ship starts to sink, you can see the Italian captain escaping on the first lifeboat.

  • you sir just earned a very nice subscribe..

  • @AndrewGamingInc Welcome aboard! Thanks very much. Be sure to check out our more recent splitting Titanic (and other) videos on our channel page.

  • Where can I buy this model? and for how much

  • @TheMorur The model itself is available at hobby shops and online (Google "Minicraft Titanic") but you'll need to modify it extensively to sink it. See our "how to" videos for more.

  • I had a 4' long model of BB63, lost in a local lake in 35+ feet of water. That was exactly 30 years ago and it's still there...

  • @scottturchin Wow - ever thought of recovering it?

  • @Rapidnadion Yeah I'd like to, I still k now where it went down roughly...cold water though, gotta find a scuba guy that would do it! or a UUV!

  • put on a POV!!

  • cool!

  • Jack!!! No!!!!

  • I like the part where the Titanic sank.

  • how do u do the underwater filming????

  • @dan9203 We use a GoPro Hero HD. It can film in very cold temperatures and at depths up to 100 feet!

  • @Rapidnadion thats awesome...do u have someone go underwater

  • @dan9203 Sometimes (we have waders that protect us from the icy water), but on this shoot we used a camera boom we made from some scrap wood.

  • @Rapidnadion do some parts fall off when it sinks?

  • @procksomaterman Not often; they're pretty sturdy components (and we used a lot of CA glue).

  • how deep is that water? just asking

  • @Fulmer4Tech About ten feet in this instance, if we recall correctly.

  • how did you get it back

  • @charlsey93 Click the link at the top of the box stack at 1:42 to see our recovery video! It's pretty simple. :)

  • you even have the ice nice add

  • @mattjett1 Thank you!

  • needs the titanic sinking music.. but otherwise, good video

  • @AdidasGangster Music is prohibited from ad-enabled videos in the YouTube Partner program. :(

  • holy s@#% i have that same model

  • do u go to get that after lol

  • @xKrazyJawz Check out the top link at 1:42.

  • :D

  • Cool! How Did You Do That?

  • @sk8rdude2992 Check out the website in the video description for much more info on this model; it took a lot of work and patience, but really anyone can do it. :)

  • Where do you film this?!?!

  • anyone agree that it was pretty dumb for them to sail the titanic on atlantic ocean? i mean no offense but it was pretty dumb...

  • Epic, this is my favorite boat sink ever. I love this model. I hope its at hobby lobby. :D

  • GET IT BEOFRE IT GOES DOWN TO THE BOTTOME!

  • his hands must be freezing cold.

  • i wish i could have a titanic model... then I WILL MAKE IT BRITANNIC WITH THE COLOR AND I WILL MAKE ALSO THE 'WATERTIGHT' COMPARTMENTS. AND I WILL MAKE A HUGE HOLE ON THE HULL AND I WISH THE RESULT IS.....Dipping the bow a little and rolling at the starboard side

  • i can see jack at 1:06

  • BRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Blub...blub...blubbb....blup!

  • @Rapidnadion

    Cool lol XD.

  • Even watching "this" was depressing. Nice model.

  • @coolblackrain11 Thank you.

  • @Rapidnadion

You're welcome ^^. Im actually surprised that you actually still do vids of Titanic for this long :p

  • @Titanic983 So are we.

  • Lol I remember watching your other model titanic vids a few years ago XD. I was like "WHERE DID HE GET THAT MODEL?!?! I REALLY WANT IT!" I did end up getting a Titanic model, but not as good and detailed like this one.

  • @Titanic983 Hard to believe the older videos have been up for years now! Thanks for sticking with us for this long.

  • where do you get this?

  • @wheels0503 We modified a display model. See our website for more info!

  • R.I.P The people that died on the Titanic.. <3 I love your model, I kind of cried, because I had that Titanic Ending song on as well.

  • @FrostedDiamond1 Amen, and thank you.

  • habt ihr das titanic modell wieder hoch geholt

  • I don't really know much about cameras but what kind of underwater camera did you use?

    Thanks

  • @TheMaroonflyer This was a GoPro Hero HD. You can see all of our cameras on our website (in the video description) under the "The Cameras" page.

  • Behaved like a the real one

  • bubbles :3

  • I'm glad I don't have a Titanic Model. I'd spend all day in my pond playing with it and sinking it! LOL. Btw how are you filming in the water in this? The water looks freezing!!!!

  • I think up 0:57 it sinks to fast because the water is coming inside the ship from everywhere.

Would it sink slowlyer wehen the bow is lighter ??

sorry my english is bad ;)

  • @Sebi19959 The flooding rate does increase dramatically (and the sinking rate too) once the bridge goes under and water is entering the hull from many more openings.

  • It's just model but looks quite creepy, makes me think real events once again. Glad you got it back though.

  • depending on how deep the water is , you should have a "follow cam" like you follow it alllllllll the way to the bottom . thatd be awesome

  • I hope that sint actually ice water =)

  • @vanhodid Oh, it's ice-water all right. We weren't in the water; we use a boom for our camera.

  • OMG im so subscribing

  • @DevilsH0b0 Very glad to have you on-board! We've filmed several Titanic videos since we shot this one, including some Titanic break-up videos; check them out on our Channel Page!

  • I'm getting tired of reading through comments and people asking how do you get it back, there's a fishing line tied to the bow.

  • awesome video ! awesome channel :)

  • @666crazytrain1 Thank you!

  • u should try to make one that sinks slowwer

  • @Touchmaster123 We film at higher speeds now so we can slow down the playback rate to create the illusion of a slower sinking. This model already takes about three minutes to sink; not many people want to watch a longer video than that.

  • @Rapidnadion i would :)

  • That's interesting the way the stern rears up out of the water on the final plunge. Did you split the inside of the hull into compartments to get it to do that or did you put ballast at the front?

  • @tutankahmun We specifically designed this model to sink this way, using interior compartmentalization and buoyancy adjustments to the stern. For a full description of those modifications, check out the website we linked to in the video description. The stern really bobs out of the water (after full submergence) on one of our new Model Titanic Splits videos, as well.

  • @jacker372 there trying to now if you like them on fb they post uldates

  • where do you buy these titanic models?

  • you should make one that breaks in half like the real one

  • @jacker372 As @cowboysfan1ism says, we're working on a splitting Titanic model right now. Follow our website (check the video description) and follow us on Facebook for updates on our progress!

  • @jacker372 Splitting Titanic videos are posted on our Channel page. Enjoy! :)

  • This is very nice. I would just love to do something like this but, unfortunately i live nowhere near a source of water and im only 12. I think I'll stick to model rockets instead =)

  • @LordZeppelin98 Whatever works for you! We love doing rockets, too, but don't have a field big enough for anything but LPR because there's *too much* water around. :)

  • @Rapidnadion where u get titanic

  • @eric080532 @trizan123 We purchase them from many sources, such as local hobby shops, department stores like Toys R Us, WalMart, and Michaels, and also from internet dealers. Be advised that you will need to modify your model to make it sink (or even float) properly. These model kits are meant for display only.

  • its kinda sinking like the real titanic

  • pretty cool

  • @FBfan477 Almost definitely, yes! Testors is a popular brand.

  • @FBfan477 Ah. Our paints are Testors enamel, which isn't bothered by water at all.

  • @FBfan477 What are you referring to?

  • Love the area you shot at. The ice-cold water gives it even more authenticity. The grey sky... *nods* nice touch. *thumbs up*

  • @CarlosJoseMunez88 Thanks - we were very lucky on this day. That shoot location isn't always available to us, but we hope to use it again! It's also featured in our airboat video (from the beach side).

  • @Rapidnadion You're welcome. I've been an avid Titanic fan since childhood. :)

  • I wish i could shrink myself and get on it. In warmer water though of course

  • Hey guys please check out my channell ill be uploading new vids soon

  • Hey i cant seem to ballst out the wheight PLEASE REPLY

  • @ReptigloRand The easiest way to do it is to gradually add weight to the model in a bathtub. The weight must be situated low in the hull (adding weight to the upper decks will only result in capsizing). When you've added enough weight and distributed it evenly along the hull, secure the weight to the model with waterproof caulk or adhesive.

  • @peacelovelilly100 A protected salt-water harbor in New York.

  • This is cool, it's like a science experiment. You have really done your research.

  • @Inufan20 Thank you!

  • this vid was even more awesome and gets fewer views. sad

  • @Wailot6 Thanks! It's a much "younger" video than the shorter ones from years ago - it'll catch up. :)

  • Hey Rapid, you've helped me out with a lot of stuff! I need some help with sinking my model. I tried the weight, using calculation and rulers, but she keeps capsizing and sinking by the stern. How can I secure the weight, because I tried usng tape, but when the tape gets wet, it becomes useless.

  • @starwarsfandude We'd recommend securing the weight with a waterproof caulk of some type, like the kind used to seal bathtubs. You can find it at most hardware stores.

  • you need lights on it and a soundtrack from the sinking from the movie ^^

  • gentleman...it was a privelage to play with you.

  • The real Titanic broke in half on her way down. ut still pretty good replication.

  • 01:00 Jack! This is where we first met!

  • @Rapidnadion where did you get that model and how much money did it cost?

  • @RandomDominoGuy @crazykid9919 Just Google "minicraft Titanic" and search the Shopping results. But you'll have to modify it heavily when building it in order to make it sink properly. See our website in the video description for more details.

  • I want that model :D

  • did you know that water has the same temperature at a depth of 15 feet whenever its winter of summer

  • were u live alaska ?

  • I bet you would shit green if the line you use to get it back snapped as she went down :) Nice model buddy I am building one out of old trailer under pinning

  • Nevermind just saw the end

  • one question... how deep is the water? O.o

  • @rmargison3 one answer... watch the end of the video!

  • sa va faire quoi sur une video de minecraft?

  • GoPro Hero FTW!

  • @BrandonxxYn1 well he made a new one so who would care if that one gets fucked up?

  • did you ever get the titanic back from the watery depth?

  • @jasons49 You should really click the top link at 1:45.

  • @Rapidnadion yeah never saw it till now thanks haha btw how can i get my self a Titanic model that size and how much was it?

  • so why did it not split in half like the real titanic

  • @THERIPPER216 because 30 tons were not pulling on the back end

  • @killer8479394 doesnt matter

  • maybe for your next sinking you attach some soft material in the middle so it'll break in half (and sink more realistically)

  • I got a question is that ice in the water? Weren't you guys freezing?

  • @ThePhantomFanatic Ice and snow, yes. We didn't go in - the camera was mounted on a boom we scratched together from some scrap wood.

  • @Rapidnadion Oh ok, I was about to say...you guys are insane, but it's creative. I got one more question. Where can I get a model like this without the gaping whole in the side of her.

  • @Rapidnadion were do you buy it and for how much

  • Here's a cool idea, put a little dry ice in the stacks for steam.

  • @Insaneblaze1993 Yes indeed. Check out our Dry Ice Titanic video for this idea taken to all the wrong extremes. We'll do it properly at some point.

  • @Rapidnadion do the yamato :D

  • @Rapidnadion If you do it, extend the funnels to the bottom of the ship, so that if water gets into the boiler rooms, the steam develops...that is realistic as steam of the incoming water hitting the burning coal gets out of the funnels....still there would be the problem of smoke, not just steam, to get out of them :D

  • where did you get the model

  • Did you ever get the boat back????

  • Nice model i really liked the undrwatr footage

  • 1:00 camera angle makes it look real size

  • @Pinkishbass91 Thanks! That was the idea! :)

  • I can see that in some of your sinking videos, you slow down the final plunge. Is it because it goes too fast?

  • @starwarsfandude Sometimes, yes. We get pretty good vertical hang-time, but there are earlier bits we like to slow down so you can still see what's happening.

  • @Rapidnadion I love slo-motion,kinda for this film...because I get to see what's happening!

  • @Rapidnadion Yeah I can understand that. There's usually a 5% chance that a model sinks like it did in real life if you set it up correct. Ether that or it's luck.

  • Okay, if that was the bubbles for the MINI titanic, how bout the REAL titanic.

  • that must hit the bottem very hard anyway cool video I am thinking about getting a model of the titanic as well :)

  • wow, this is amazing!

  • @cosbusta Thank you!

  • How did you make that?

  • @Mommymeep Check out our Facebook page for build photos!

  • use a strong crab fishing line or something like that

  • 1:14 - 1:33 now that's a film shot James Cameron should've done

  • @beauferret Honored! Thanks!

  • u should play the theme song of titanic.. lol

  • @spoilingbrat Can't add music to ad-enabled videos in the YouTube partner program. :(

  • water temperture:very cold XD

  • and i called that you used a go pro good choice, i want one so badly!

  • @nygisgod It's such a great camera, for what it does. We need to get a different waterproof capsule, though, as the original one gives us focus problems underwater. Still a great device.

  • please tell you put on wet suit while filming this!

  • @nygisgod Didn't need to - we built a camera boom.

  • No, Jack - NO!!! XD

  • all I can say is amazing I've been building and sinking titanic models since I ws a kid!

  • @jwoods06 Thanks! Always great to meet a like-minded ship-sinker!

  • I dont know what I would do if the string just suddenly ripped. I guess another titanic would lay at the bottom of the sea

  • @luigidude15 The fishing line we use is really robust - weighted at 50lbs!

  • @luigidude15 LOL

  • i want one

  • damn im guessing titanic is a very unlucky name for you're boat !

  • @GirliqueDownUnder We're getting there. Subscribe to us and you'll see the video when we make it.

  • Oh and where did you film it at?

  • @ArmyVlogger Protected salt water harbor in New York.
