If you read Dalton Fury's book you'll see someone higher up prevent Dalton from blocking Bin Laden's escape route into Pakistan. Absolutely baffling!

All because Peter points out the massive fundamental flaws in our economy and doesn't cheerlead like these other idiots, that makes him unpatriotic?
When Peter Schiff says that Congress doesn't have the authority to legislate fuel standards I would disagree. Congress has the authority over Inter-State commerce, and fuel standards have an effect on Inter-State commerce. I think a better argument would be that Congress should refrain as much as possible from legislating free market principles. Saying Congress doesn't have authority sounds ignorant and discredits an otherwise good point.
Here is the thing on the Commerce Clause, is that commerce can be switched with exchange or trade if you read the Federalist Papers, through the 18th and most of the 19th century, there wasn't such a broad view. The current view is a trend away form the original intent. Commerce doesn't mean production in the way of fuel standards, or in 17th and 18th century terms a buggy or a train. Same with the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which regulates transactions between individuals. Peter Schiff 2012.
