  • whats good sanders my old friend just want to say this was a great video series and i agree with it im not on youtube anymore much this was the first video i watched since july lol

  • In terms in my personal enjoyment, WWE has been better (specifically Smackdown lol). However, like you said ROH has gone downhill since BITW, but before that come on MMIV is still the top ROH show this year IMO. As for Richards/Edwards what have you could've done? They were limited with what they could do given that DR is a part time champ.

ROH's presentation is so boring and worst of all (I don't know if you watch the TV Show) they come off as a poor man's MMA. '07 is my fav year.

  • Even though I disagree I respect the fact that you've taken an unpopular view, explained it and stood by it. I hope more people follow your lead.

  • it was a down year for roh I'll admit that, but WWE has just been bullshit since summerslam

  • WWE has been better then ROH this year

  • Honestly i agree with this, comparing the two WWE has had more interesting storylines and matches then ROH has had this year

  • Great vids. ROH has been pretty bad this year and it feels like WWE 2007-2008. 3 people dominated the main event all year and almost all pushed guys were forced down fans despite little to no crowd response. It's LAZY booking with ROH management believing the fans will take what they get and pretend it's great. And a lot do. It's really disgusting what has happened this year.

  • It seems since the Atlanta shows ROH has not been interesting except for Kevin Steen and the Briscoes

  • The WWE has been the most inconsistent product all year and I completely disagree with you on everything seeming like it has a purpose to the show. Every time they had a possibility for something to turn out great it completely fell off. The hot potato with the WWE title over the past few months, Danielson winning MITB and somehow still not being on PPVs, the same matches over and over again without anything coming out of it (Henry vs Big Show) and there's at least 4 pointless matches a show.

  • @megadeth232 Take back what I said... DANIELSON IS THE FUCKING WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION

  • roh needs chucky taylor...

  • @187ARS187 Great comment.

  • Good video, you explained yourself a lot better here. But still I don't think WWE was better than ROH. I don't like CZW but I loved the Cole/Callihan feud. So I bought Night Of Infamy to see their blowoff match and it was great. But overall the show sucked. And I think CZW sucks too. A great feud/match/ppv doesn't mean shit when it's sorrounded by bad feuds/matches/ppvs all year long. Yeah Summer Of Punk was cool... 1/2 months of coolness against 10 bad months. ROH had more good months than 1/2.

  • @TheCandleGuy90 , Personally I enjoyed a lot of stuff other than the whole Punk storyline in the summer. I think the PPV's have been somewhat inconsistent but overall they have been very good to great. Despite the HHH/Punk & Miz stuff I think the WWE has delivered in the ring this year. Chikara has put on some bad shows as well but it still really hasn't altered people's enjoyment of the company.

  • @SandersRobin24 I agree, Chikara and especially Pwg had a tremendous year. And the next PWG's event looks even better, DG guys are going to be at the show. Anyway my problem about rating WWE, like I said before mentioning Cole/Callihan in CZW, are people (not you, obviously) who judge a whole company just basing on what the big news is. So Danielson won the belt at TLC and I'm superhappy for the guy, but I heard people say TLC was a "great" show. Wait, what? Did they skip 6 matches out of 9?

  • The 2002 and 2003 ROH shows that I've seen may have had some crappy undercards but the main events almost always delivered in big ways. Its pretty shocking how different 2011 has been from 2010 and not in a good way

    .

  • Soooo did CHIKARA do better than ROH this year? :p

  • @EmeraldFlowsion62 , no doubt

  • I agree, I mean I stopped watching wwe from 2007-2010 and I can say 2011 has been a really good year for the wwe overall. But be careful and don't let hardcore indy fans like Trademark629 hear this or they'll make a scene lol

  • @Trademark629 U are a complete mark that even if ROH would be the worst wrestling promotion out there youd still defend it over wwe anytime of the day.U are part of the minority &there's a reason why people don't take your opinions seriously in any of your videos.U are the PERFECT example of an internet mark who pro wrestlers probably laugh at. The only way you can mark out over something is if you see a lot of blood, someone breaks his neck and theres a total spot fest in the ring. so sad Jared

  • I agree with you for the most part, the only major exception being Davey Richard's in ring ability being unquestionable, it's very highly questionable. ROH has become the very image they were always fighting against, they are now the vanilla midget spotfest show, except the style is toned down to the point none of the spots are actually that good. They've been falling apart since 07, IMO, and they're only getting worse. Instead of replacing maineventers with guys who could be maineventers in

  • 6-12 months, they've been replaced with guys who maybe shouldn't even be in the entertainment business. I look at Bennett's cheap heat gimmick and I see a role that could of much better been filled by Moxley or Robert Anthony. Most of ROH's breakout stars have usually been guys who have had seasonsing in PWG and CZW, that's where they should be looking, not at whose been trained by Truth.

  • @eddydeez And honestly if they worked with CHIKARA again they could get some good mid carders

  • 2012 NEEDS TO BE THE YEAR OF KEVIN STEEN!!

  • If I may throw 2011 ROH a compliment, I do see the seeds being planting for interesting happenings in 2012, between Steen's return and possibly some interesting new things for whoever is champion.

  • @DoubleCrossKing thanks for pointing that out. rome wasnt built in one day. i think at final battle will be a good starting point for that

  • WWE has been much, much better. With a better roster, I think.

  • Yeah I wouldn't go that far either. ROH may not have had a blow away year but they had enough great shows to make it a very good year.

  • @xCeRTiFiieDx like what?

  • I agree. WWE has had a bunch of good PPV's this year. The whole Punk angle was good even though it was screwed up a bit. Rhodes and Ziggler have had really good years. ROH is doing ok this year. The PPV's are fine, but I have not been into any of the feuds. I am not into Richards vs Edwards much and I think their match at Best in the World is overrated. People are saying close to 5 while I say around 4. The ROH roster is stale also.

  • WOAH I would not go that far haha. Come on, with all of WWE's counter productive booking and PG garbage there's no way you can say they're better than ROH. WWE's final third has been FAR WORSE than ROH's final third. WWE has had so many awful Raws and crappy PPVs in the past few months. Yes the WWE was a having a pretty damn good year from January to August but after SummerSlam the WWE has fallen off a cliff. There are several better promotions than ROH this year but WWE isn't one of them.

  • I'd agree. WWE had an Awesome first 4 Months and was good from June-September. ROH has been shitty all year.

  • @Trademark629 PG garbage? if roh not pg its better? wwe final third after tlc raw not terrible, i agree wwe been better but ROH mark yourself will never admit that

  • @Trademark629 WWE in one year got Punk over as a superstar and got Ziggler, Rhodes, Ryder, Mark Henry, R-Truth, Miz and others in far higher spots than they were the previous year. Exactly who has ROH gotten over besides Eddie Edwards? From a wrestling standpoint Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, Extreme Rules, Money In The Bank, and Summerslam were better than most of the ROH shows this year.

  • @bigratthreeten ANX, Elgin, Future Shock and Ciampa have all gone from opening match guys to title contenders within the past year. The Briscoes reinvented their characters and so did Corino. And ROH's biggest shows have been A LOT better than WWE's. Survivor Series, Wrestlemania, and Royal Rumble were nowhere near as good as Manhattan Mayhem IV, Honor Takes Center Stage shows or Death Before Dishonor.

  • @Trademark629 Crappy PPV's? Theres only been two bad PPV's from WWE all year and thats Over the Limit and Capitol Punishment. Vengeance was alright to good, Survivor Series was good, so I don't know where you get crappy from. ROH has had good matches in all, but not much else.

  • @GoldStandard000 WM was bad also.

  • @ThrashAD720 I was there, so called me bias, but I thought it was barely good.

  • @GoldStandard000 Yea if i was there i would say the same thing.
