I'm thinking it was Ron Shaw vs. David Sammartino's bit in Philadelphia where the whole match consisted of Ron Shaw giving Sammartino body slam after body slam (which was the only move used in thewhole match), ending in a Shaw pinning Sammartino, that was one of the "last straws" that got both men fired from the WWF???
True, Shaw kept body slamming the idiot, and Sammartino could not get a single shot in. But the match did not end in a pin, as Shaw simply squeezed the life out of Sammartino after trapping him beautifully in a bearhug. Sammartino begged the referee to call the match, though he claimed he never made the motion to do so. (Yeah, right). After parading around the ring in a well deserved victory, Shaw then spit on Sammartino before exiting the ring. Big Ron was the best!
@spartacus3ful Can you tell me what the title of the clip was. I searched every corner where that match could be hiding and no cigar. I hope I'm not the jerk who removed it.
Not to worry, it could not have been you since either the person who posted it OR You Tube itself has the power to remove it. (But I seem to remember it was the person who posted it). The title was pretty much the same as this match: Ron Shaw vs. David Sammartino. Sometimes these videos have a way of making it back on to You Tube, but in this case, alas, no such luck.

I was also a Ron Shaw fan, he should have gone a lot further than he did, he had great ring presence and 268 lbs he had good size.
Maybe we will get lucky and see the defeat of David Sammartino !

The jerk who used to have it up here had it removed. I am a huge fan of Big Ron Shaw, and it was great to see him kick Sammartino's ass.
