@tomasortega1 First off the only place where a Lexus & an Infiniti are considered "affordable luxury cars" is in the US so dont be so quick to shoot down a car for the price bracket its in. The more expensive car doesn't mean its the better car so get off your high horse cause the auto industry doesn't work that way. Secondly an Infiniti in any other part of the world cost more then a BMW let alone the average German car so if price determines superiority then you are wrong.

Yes, the more expensive car does not mean it is the better car and while some may say an Infiniti does not cost as much as a German car here in the states it cost twice as much in foreign markets, therefore determining which car is better based on the MSRP alone is naive and irrelevant. Ok, well here is the facts. This is a BMW x6 35i. It has a 3.0 liter engine producing 300 horsepower and uses TwinPower turbo technology. I cannot tell if it is against an FX35 or 50, but if it is in fact against the latter, then it is an unfair race, as the FX50 produces 390 horsepower using a 5.0 liter v8.

FX 50 is powered by a 5.0 V8 390 hp engine, while the X6 has a 3.5 V6 turbo with 306 hp engine, which means there is a huge difference in raw power, but the results dont show that difference. The 2 cars were close in the vid, in other words the X6 V6 KEEPS UP WELL with the FX V8 :D :D :D

@larbeino you are forgetting another factor that will also count...fuel consumption...FX50 fuel consumption in city driving 14.6 L/100 KM and X6 14.9 L/100 KM...so in a acceleration race...X6 took more fuel still didn't beat the inifinti...which is really sad.

I would take the FX50 over the BMW X6 any day!! Look at 0:01 - 0:08, the Infiniti has its own unique styling apart from any other vehicle ever made in the world.The X6 looks the fat kid of the X5. The X6 and the X5 resemble one another from certian angles. The Fx50 is straight up class and elegance,the front portrays a mean "hammer head" shark look, and the grill is one-of-a-kind, but still resembles a little to the maserati and aston martin due to its shape.The Fx50 has personality and presence
