This is hands down one of Green Day's best covers. In my opinion, what Green Day have done is as punk as it gets. What other band in the same genre as them would have the balls to put an album on Broadway? Broadway, and punk rock?But anyone who has seen American Idiot knows Green Day pulled it off. Yes, Green Day's music has changed. But you can not call them sell out. They're older now, and more mature. That's why their music is maturing. They can't sing songs about masturbation forever.

But listen to this, i mean my fucking God! This band could have gone down in punk history gloriously if they hadn't sold out. This could be have been one of the best bands in the history of punk! They sacrificed it all to be one of the greatest bands in modern rock. In punk rock, you can do what the fuck you want.
