@sman88capitals I've been using reason since version 2.0 and I can tell you that its definately worth the upgrade. If you here the main sound in the backround its apeggiated (arpeggiator is in reason 4). The Thor Polysonic Synthesizer (In reason 4) with its 3 interchangable oscillator slots is the sickest synth out there because it allows you to use multiple types of synthesis all at 1 time while other synths only allow you to use 1 type of synthesis. Its worth it...I'll tell you more...
@sman88capitals In Reason 5 you have a new upgraded Dr. Rex Player that lets you hold up to 8 slots of loops and comes with more features that you can fool around with. Reason 5 has The Kong Drum Designer which is awesome because you can assign different things to each of the pads like a mini rex player or mini sampler or you can physically model your own drum sounds plus it comes with fx built in. Because reason has evolved...so has the sound of my production...hope that helps you out. :)

Sick dude. Im still using reason 3.0, tried 4 but didnt think it was much different.
Is it really worth updating to 5.0? ive got gb of refills and dont think im missing out on much?
