I've seen just one tennis player with a better backhand: Stefan Edberg. His backhand was perfect, under any point of view ...but he's a man.
In women tennis, Gaby had the better backhand ever, no doubt. At least in Open Era.
I don't know if there was something better before ......I didn't follow tennis at that time. I wasn't born yet ;-)
