Oh my goodness this woman is amazing. I can't understand how some of you say Sadie is better. To me, Sadie can move VERY WELL, but seems like an ex stripper who just so happen to get into belly dancing. She's like the belly dancing stripper that you have perfrorm at parties. This woman is graceful and embodies the art of belly dancing. No tricks and gimmics here....just pure talent. BEAUTIFUL!

Actually it is a bit of both. Normally the dancer and the drummer will speak about certain portions and what they may do but the dance can and does change as the mood takes them.

I know, me too! Problem is, closest place that offers is almost two hours away!! With gas prices and just overall lack of free time, there's no way I could ever make it. So it's YouTube and DVDs for me. I practice mostly every day (sometimes I just need a few days off, lol). I started getting serious in March, and I have already noticed a huge difference!

it depends on how you look at it, i personly think she has a really nice body. the way she dances suits her because of her hight. in terms of her movement i think it's perfect. Sadie dances with over exsadurated movements which gives her own style personly both of them are very good dancers i wouldn't say any of them are better then the other.

The thing that bothers me about BDSS is that after awhile, for example, all the drum solos are the same.  Too long of sections of shimmy, too many turns finishing a phrase. It isn't exciting anymore, I know exactly what's going to happen.

As a dancer, and an American, the audience doesn't have that much attention span.

I've taken many a workshop from BDSS dancers-Jillina, PJ, and Sonia, and seen them live in Aspen last year, so I'm not speaking out of turn.
