  • muy buen video

  • look at her legs! mmmmmm!!!

  • Since when is 240p considered "High Quality" ?

  • Hey my brother coriographed this vidio and Paula got the credit for it WTF Baruch Cozlo-Darling did it tok 6 months to teach her but she got the credit He is the Lead male dancer Paula You should Show respect He is Dead

  • @sonofatoad she always give him credit hun.....

  • Damn....that was hot

  • LOL actually Madonna was WAY before Paula dear

  • I like the Shot of Paula's Belly Button at 1:18.

  • FANTASTIC....

  • Nice? LOL XDD I think they were expecting a more descriptive answer...perhaps one of a more honest nature lol

  • I love this video - I was just explaining to my boyfriend how she hurt herself making this. I'm a bit older than her, but I've been a big fan since her first album. And to others - you DO realize she was their choreographer. Well, at least the Jacksons, including Janet. I thin k this was one of the top 5 sexiest videos of the 80s.

  • HOW does she keep that hat on?

  • @JOSJOS1972 Glue

  • S P E C T A C U L A R ! ! !

  • paula is awesome!

  • Amazing! Janet Jackson's IF reminds this video. Many parts of her coreograph seems to Paula's video.

  • One of the best videos ever! And I luuuuv that she pays homage to Fosse...

  • I wonder if the dancer guys were able to control erections when at the end they were resting between the girl dancers legs...?

  • @crunchies14 It is a very good question! I get an erection every time when I dance with my girlfriend and again to this video: I thought in 1989 that this was a very sexy and hot videos and Paula has very sexy legs. And there at 3:30 that guy pulls his crotch against Paula's leg. And there at 3:45 ... Wow! If these guys get erections so I can not blame them, and this is Paula's sexiest video. // Christoffer.

  • Killer moves!

  • Sometimes she's wearing a hat and sometimes she's wearing a black bow on her head!

  • this was my fave video of hers, i would try an copy her moves from this video being a kid LOL i later realized why my mom didnt allow me to copy those moves wwaayy to sexy for a 7 yr old!!!!!

  • Finally someone posted this!!!

  • @octoalex

    what ?

    5. Mai 2007

  • she looks so much better now

  • @inesjardim

    i love her.

  • So funny that when this video first came out I was about 10 yrs old and it seemed so racy for the time, and due to my age. But it was definitely pushing the envelope at the time, and now seeing it so many yrs later it seems pretty tame, compared with what is out there now. But still love it.

  • @Snugs79 AGREEEE, my mom got pissed this vid. :)

  • @Snugs79 Yeah I was about to say, back then it was like, "Good gracious! This is scandalous!" but nowadays, Lady Gaga could give birth onstage and twirl the newborn around and nobody would bat an eyelash.

  • I love this song! :) :D

  • Dominc Lucero was such a wonderful dancer!

  • Ha. I never saw this before or even HEARD the song. Loved it!!

    Legs

  • i dont know if anyone notices this but at 3:31 her mouths not moving but she is supposed to be singing because someone is and its not her. i noticed she was having a hard time to keep up with the lyrics all through the video. but i still think this is a cool video

  • @gisellebreault dumb, that was just the editting of a dance sequence into the video.

  • @gisellebreault Another blooper---her hat changes changes to a bow and back all through the second half of the video.

  • it's funny when i watch these videos no all i see is the drunk lady from american idle

  • I wonder if the choreography of this video inspired the dancing for Janet's If video. Either way, still cool, this song and video. Never thought much of the video as a kid, though when this came out. Just grooved to the music. lol

  • can you post the download link for the song please

  • superb.....

  • she is HOT and this is coming from a girl i love her <3

  • i can relate to this...such a true damn song!

  • I'm surprised that this wasn't a big hit before, really love it coz' it's very nice naughty video LOL!!!

  • Paula had the moves! Sucks her back injury ten years ago has ended her dance career and caused pain pill addiction.

Side note: Not many know that this 1989 video was a tribute to dancer, singer, choreographer Bob Fosse.

  • i widh i could dance that good ......daang

  • I LOVE Janet but c'mon? PAULA is like THE BEST. lol IN EVERYHING. she can sing, dance, she can ACT like OMG, she's THE COMPLETE PACKAGE!

  • Legendary choreography!

  • Don't forget Paula was the choreographer for Miss Jackson's "What have You Done For Me Lately" she can dance no doubt!!!

  • @007goffer Thats true!!! and she also choreographed Janets "nasty boys" and "when i think of you" she was a great choreographer!!!!!

  • haha she was fucking awesome

  • Unhappy people love to hate things...

  • Lady gaga can get inspiration from this dance

  • I totally forgot about this song (and the video). Thanks for bringing it back. Choreography is amazing to this day.

  • awsome

  • Who the hell is Lady Gaga anyway...? Paula Abdul is the original and she´s so hot in this video! Her voice is so sexy and that woman can dance! This video is from 1989

  • OH WOW . . . DOUBLE RAINBOW . . WHAT DOES IT MEAN . . OOOOHHHHH . . .OH MY GOD IT'S, IT'S ALMOST A TRIPLE RAINBOW

  • who the fuck ist janet jackson, j-lo, madonna, kylie minouge, britney or christina aguielera...PAULA ABDUL is THE ORIGINAL!!!

  • @GMinority this would be true if Madonna and Janet Jackson didn't precede her.

  • I remember watching the making of this video and how difficult it was to get just the sliding across the floor part right. Paula's routines look simple, but they are actually technically superior. And she has a GREAT body. Petite yet still gently rounded. Very unique and frankly adorable. Personally, I like her singing as well.

  • To all you Paula hater- go bite yourself!!! She's one of best out there. Don't judge her by what you've seen on American Idol. That is not the true Paula Abdul. Just admit it........YOU'RE JEALOUS!!!

  • The clothes are so dated, but the choreography is still dead on.

  • BEST SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The choreography is amazing, and the sting instruments at 2:55 is sick!!!! That entire part is my favorit. Love it!!!

  • Thank you soooooooooooo much for posting this video. I'm a dancer and choreographer, and when I saw this video, it blew my mind. Still does.

  • hmmm so britney spears is a copyyyy ... i knew it !

  • love love paula!

  • this one is probably paula's best video

  • 4:06.......lady gaga?!

  • Love it, a classic.

  • sssssssnake <3

  • oh paula, you sassy bitch you

  • the hat has always bothered me - sometimes its on - sometimes its off - goofy thing I know to care about. LOL

  • great choreo! others copied from this..

  • paula abdul used to be janet jackson's choreographer, during janet's "control" album days..

this video brings back so many memories :)

  • I think this inspired the pussycat dolls

  • This song was the lick - couldn't go anywhere without hearing it - department stores - people's cars at stop lights ...

  • Paula is a choreographer and has done lots of work for other artist, movies and ect.

  • Comment removed

  • she is alright and then some.

  • OMG! the first minute of this video is almost the same moves from janet jackson video "if". love them both!

  • This might be as Good as TLC's Scrubs for Whatever thats Worth.

  • w@!@w its awesome ...baby wonder!Thanks

  • asombrosooo

  • omgg dominic lucero @ 1:56 :D

    rip

  • Paula was one of the best dancers...amazing choreography

  • luv u paula i love her hair and make up here somone shouls make a mae up torturail

  • Ah, Paula. You gotta love her.

  • I spanked my monkey more times to this in the day then I dare to count..:)..mmm...paula when paula was mmmm.mmmm. good

  • Princess, Paula Abdul made this video many years ago. Christina A., is a much new comer. Besides Paula was a choreographer before she was a singer. Just google her history you'll see. Good day.

  • Dummy... this is an old song and there nohing alike!

  • This song/video came out before there was a Christina.

  • @princessfantay I think thats probably one of the less contentious questions given these two artists are 20 years apart. Many of todays artists have tried to copy much of what went before them and absolutely failed in doing so.

  • nice asses

    xD

  • Awesome job Miss Paula!

  • This song is pop perfection matched with breathtaking dance and movement. The song features a dynamic female singe. Many people try to imitate but can not duplicate. The Dance Queen has made her mark. haha Ca ca ca cold hearted, ooh ah ooh ah.

  • Then don't watch it. Your just trying to act like an ass and start trouble. So just stop being immature. Your only making yourself look bad.

  • Here's an idea, if you don't like her songs or videos, then don't watch them.

  • africanbornqueen, I have nothing against the video; its just the song sucks.

  • Well I mean still. If you don't like the song just don't say anything. Now if it was a racist song or had something really wrong or offensive to someone or something then I could agree or understand why you would put your opinion in it. You know what I'm saying? But I mean whatever, It's your opinion and I respect it.

  • @africanbornqueen it's a free country. People should be more accepting that there are people with hundreds if not thousands of people

  • @shannon4599usa I mean yeah speak your mind but if you don't like something why waste you time even bothering to comment on it? It makes no sense and it just makes you look like a hater. I have commented on something before a long time ago that i regret because if i didn't like it, i shouldn't have commented. It doesn't matter. One thing though. I'm glad i didn't put a thumbs down for it because other people like it so why should i ruin that for them.

  • HAha very  sexy ! ♥ lol jkjk (;

  • correction,..it was done around 1990! For sure!

  • Yes it is from a sequence in the movie "All That JAZZ" with Roy Scheider. . very Sexy AND PROVOCATIVE number featuring Sandahl Bergman DONE IN THE 70'S OR EARLY 80'S.

  • awesome !

    I love Paula !

  • lol i <3 this song and im 13 and this song was made in the what like early 90's i think

  • Late 80's actually.

  • for mark wherever he is jajaja

  • Man, it's been forever since I've heard this song.

  • Damn she rocks in this. Love her dancing, so dedicated and hard hitting. I wasn't even born when this came out. And dancing on heels, its like she's born with that.

  • I remember Paula calling this an homage to Fosse.

  • I still after all these years think this video is REALLYYYYY hot

  • This is one of the hottest video's EVER!!!!!!

  • We played this song in band when I was in 7th grade. It was my favorite song to play and I just ABSOLUTELY LOVED PAULA ABDUL!!!

  • This song is very underrated.

It's not as well remembered as it should be.

  • wow were playing this song in band

  • @shacobo AWSOME i would die!! to see it

  • Yep, I give it a thumbs up.

  • What is that @ 1:18?

  • A leg.

  • ...Paula Abdul?

  • @MJHxoxo yes its her lmfao

  • God she is so hot.

  • very nice memory....i did the same dance when i was in america with some other dancers as a demo......i change alittle of the steps but as of the results it was number one for me i actually won......this is i great video and great song i love alot.....

  • I like how it starts out hot, what with all the dancing and whatnot.

But...when the shades are pulled down, it goes from hot to BLISTERING. I was fanning myself shortly afterwards. I'm also quite certain that every grown-up American male had to go rub one out after this video aired in 1989.

  • Paula is damn hot sexy;]]

    that's why Simon loves her;]]

    Simon loves all she has;]]

    ****

    HOTTEST VID of her;]]

    with CRAZY COOL;]]

  • Amazing video

  • Cold Hearted Snake!Yeah!

  • taizz discotheque1989

  • cool paula abdul is fantastic

  • It makes me laugh reading through this - you can tell the seperation of the ages. Those that know Fosse's "Take off With us" -'79, know Paula did this as an homage '89 to that. Paula 'started ' nothing. Fossee started something. Paula learned well, she even says so. All dancers who are inspired by the masters, do. Problem is the young folks here, haven't a clue. Get one, and give credit to the correct influence, and just kudos to the one inspired by it.

  • Well, there's really no such thing as true total innovation. Everything is inspired by something that came before. Fosse, for example, was inspired by Jack Cole (the so-called father of theatrical jazz dance) and Jerome Robbins.

Anyway, it's just ignorance for someone not to recognize or know the influence for the choreography in a 20 year old Paula Abdul video. It's not exactly common knowledge.

  • You are correct, it's not common knowledge --- just mentioned right in the beginning. And then, education in this highly technological world, helps. With that, nothing is secret or uncommon knowledge anymore. :)

  • Paula tore up Bob Fosse in this one.

  • it doesnt matter who did it first, but who did it better

  • god who cares about Bob Fosse.

  • Those that copy off of him. And he copied off of others before him as well. He is not unique, but he has a signature. Paula is not unique, but she has a signature as well. But we all give credit to the masters of whom we copy and for this, he was one.

  • You are taking this Paula Abdul video tooooo seriously...

  • @Mandi7882 wtf??? Paula is amazing

  • U are right, Paula is amazing. Love most of work but...my comments are directed to this video alone (and not the song). I was a fan of hers when it came out, but also a bigger fan of Fosse and was quite aware of this being a copy of a famous Fosse segment as she herself admitted at the time. She's only LA ex-Basketball cheerleader-made-good I can tolerate.

  • Comment removed

  • @Mandi7882 so? I have seen interviews n he dosn't have a problem with this so .. why do u (not being mean) its an amazing video n paula is very talented here as well in all the performances n ect.

  • By asking me why I have a problem with it begs me to answer: This is pop music and at this time, the beginning of a lot of blatant "borrowing" of other artist's work where the younger generation may believe this is an original idea/work. I am not saying Paula is all guilty of this; but the old saying of it takes a village to raise a child is true for 'choreography' and 'pop music'.

  • @LaotianLover -Paula Abdul did. That's why she paid homage to him with this video.

  • @Mandi7882 ur right it does matter- i dont know who bob fosse is- but even as a kid(which i was at the time) i cud tell this was a cut above- n obviously this fosse is the reason why

  • dang paula can dance yo!!

  • i love this song!!!

  • Short Spandex w/ Knee highboots... *sigh* Absurd.

  • I think that its hilarious when such an obviously commercial artist does a video where it looks like she is defying those stuffy executives.

  • That is true.. than again Paula Abdul has choreographed for Janet and Britney Spears has said that Paula is one of her idols.

  • Woow paula is a great danceer

  • paula abdul can probably do the moonwalk :O it so wouldn't surprose me !

  • totally love it...i did the same dance with other dancers just like this in a contest when i was in america......tough dance.....i love it...thank you for the upload...a very pretty dance...5*****

  • I've always noticed this in Britney Spear's Womanizer video when she was a waitress.

  • @chicaricasita really? in what part?

  • This video is taken after the movie "Flash dance", where she dances for the judges at the end of the movie!!!

    In case you were wondering???

  • No, rakshasa7 has the correct reference. The concept and choreography are both inspired by Bob Fosse's "Air-rotica" sequence from All That Jazz. As Abdul herself said when the video was first released, it is her homage to Fosse.

  • I didn't notice this before but I see Britany Speares (Slave) and Janet Jackson (if) in the choreograghy. Nice! This shows how closely linked the new is with the old.

  • I remember this one , the choregraphy was the only one valuable from Abdul

  • "A Bob Fosse sort of thing"? It's a direct rip-off of Fosse's 'Air-otica', from "All That Jazz."
