After all, just about all Asian pop has a root in Western pop. However, when they become as good or better than the original, it seizes to be just an Asian version of Western music. After all, just about all Asian pop has a root in Western pop. However, when they become as good or better than the original, it seizes to be just an Asian version of Western music. Jay Chou while talented and appreciate his music, his impact in music outside Taiwan and China isn't as big. Bands like Big Bang and 2ne1 not only set the trends but are examples of continued evolution of Kpop. And they probably be the first one to make their mark as an Asian music artists in Western music scene.

Jay Chou is more talented than the group together. He's a film director, composer, plays guitar, piano, violin, drums, he can rap, he dances, he sings. Yeah , absolutely understandable . Me too I don't like Asian singers. Especially the 'fake singers" . And I do feel the same way about korean or taiwanese singers. Including the one as famous as jay Chou & BIg Bang. But there is only 'one korean singer singer' able to catch my attention. He is Jung Dong ha ( Korean Handsome Rocker from rock band Boohwal). His husky voice is original. Melodious, sultry yet powerful. And he is a simple guy. Not only good looking but he is talented as well.

er..i dun think Jay Chou is fake?he views family as the important thing as he demonstrates a strong appreciation of family values with an especially deep connection with his mother and maternal grandmother He is also well-known for composing all his own songs and songs for other singers. He has excellent piano/cello/guitar and song-writing skills. . Although he was trained in classical music and he is also a non-smoker, non-drinker, and does not go to nightclubs

Yes, agree.Though I don't like his voice but J Chou is not fake . I just don't know what he is talking or singing about. But I admit he is quite talented ( compser, actor , etc) The only Taiwanese singer I like is Jacky cheung. U should try JDh. This guy voice is so unique. Even my mum & grandma becm his fans. JDH also compose sev songs ( Day - nice rock ballad, Oz & write lyrics ' todashi sarange'). n`joy his song .I rec "Thinking of U -Never Ending - Midnight Blue -Lonely night !
