That's a cool gun but it's a rim fire. Every time u pull the trigger without a round your pin hits metal causing damage.

The Stinger is an overpriced version of the true pen guns.

The real pen guns do not unfold to fire and as such are against the law as anything but an AOW.

But they are easy to find, they are produced in Mexico "In the rough" as kits and one does finishing and final assembly.

Total cost of the illegal version is under $30 US and I feel that even that is overpriced.

They come only in .22 but will fire everything from a short to long rifle.

There are several logical explanations.

1- Sometimes towns get supplied new guns, or people get killed and the gun is returned to the police.(that is Only if the killer is to stupid to take the gun and sell it or use it.) The extra guns can be sold at auctions or online.

2- Surplus.

3- A retired Police officer sells it.

I believe youre right about carrying it open,even in the shirt pocket,what is considered the butt of the weapon whould be clearly in veiw,the cop may argue that he didnt know it was a pistol,but that would show his lack of the knowledge of firearms.they tried to get a friend of mine for a knife in a beltbuckle,the folding knife was in plain veiw,and the cop was told it was his job to know different types of weapons,and since it was in the open,case dissmissed.

He could get 500 bucks out of it if its in working condition. He could possibly get more. These are no longer produced and the demand and value has skyrocketed. Anyone who would use this as a primary means of defense, hasn't ever owned one and shouldn't ever own one, lol. Do your research before you comment.

yup, it is VERY easy to make firearms that can take much more than a .22lr and VERY cheap. for instance, a 9mm will fire out of a pvc construction.. not that im suggesting u try it..

It appears to be a pen when folded away and there for would likely class as concealed when folded in plain sight.

Also is there really a point to having a one shot .22 for defense? You'd do better with a knife with the amount of time needed to aim something like that and the range for it.

However that thing is SO freaken cool, perfect thing to show up to the range with and have some fun trying to plink stuff.
