@cyrel257 only if you do it correctly, to much thinner can melt pieces. what i recommend is taking a cotton swab and dipping the very tip in thinner, and rubbing it off gradually.
@rrobbert184: Hi, I like your gundam review. I want to ask something about the clear blue paint. How did you apply the clear blue paint? Do I hv to mix it with water first?
i want to follow the color scheme on my gundams but i can't read Japanese writing. Are there any websites that can help figure out the mixing percentage?
Im built the Exact thing 1/100 model but the wing wont lock and the left leg is fuked up and im takin stress pills to calm never mind painting the bloody thing would show u a video of mine but fukin iphone canny really pissed
I gotta say, I really like your Gundam reviews. They are simply the best! The clear and concise explanations, the camera angles, the professional-like structure and organization of the review, or maybe it's just the sound of your voice.... heh, just kidding. But, seriously, awesome job.
Nice explenation on the clear part and the cutting discoloration.
But for the colors I prefer the acryllic line of Tamiya. Its easier to thin (alcohol), you don't need to inhale this funky thinner stuff (made me dizzy all the time ^^) and if you mess up, you can clean the part with alcohol.
Sweet review so far. The model looks pretty impressive and the clear color paint really goes a long way to make it look better. The little color change clip at the end was pretty cool. That's actually a great way to come up with custom paint schemes, believe it or not. So, why the Core Fighter cameo?
Actually, you start off with $26 then add tax percentage (It is 12% in our country) and add some more dollars for the store's income (this is the only thing that really matters) then decide if you're ok with it^^
Oh yeah, you're right. I was actually thinking of an online store. I haven't bought any Gunpla from an actual store in quite a while. I forgot about all that "extra" crap. Probably the reason why I don't buy them at my "local" hobby shop anymore. Well, that, and the generally poor selection there. Still, I always like going to see Gundam models in person. You can sometimes get a peek inside the box before you buy! But, that's why I like visiting Dalong's website. ;)
the GN drive/search eye being in the crotch is kinda wierd to me, Like it better on the chest like Kyrios

Would it be hard to paint those orange shields into the same white color as the white pieces of this gundam?
Sorry if this question seems kinda stupid, but i am just getting into the Gundam figure kits.

are there any gundam models that you can build but you dont have to paint?
GodohMuffins 2 years ago 3
all the models i review are unpainted, so they look like this out of the box with only a bit of lining.

how much did you get it for ? i found it at my hobby shop and i dont wanna get ripped off
gundam00lover4eva 3 years ago
It costs 2600 yen in Japan, so you should only spend about $25 to $30 on it (minus the shipping cost).
