  • love it.... ivie andersson/duke beats her in this song, but lots of respect to mae west for beeing non-racist during a very racist time.

  • There's a much better version in much better fidelity by Ellington's band from this time period with his regular vocalist, Ivie Anderson. A much hipper recording, though in her favor, Mae West IS kitsch Americana.
