Hah, funny how you have music form 'Uncharted' in this trailer, as I personally think 'Uncharted' is what 'Tomb Raider' should have been today.

As in, 'Uncharted' replaced 'Tomb Raider' for me personally.

But it would be cool to try this mod.

Would be weird in 1st-person-view, perhaps it should be modified to be in 3rd-person too.

It is one thing to get Crysis running on PS3.

It is a completely different thing getting it running at maximum settings with decent resolution + frame-rate.

Preliminary reports show Crysis on consoles running at only medium-high settings at 720p compared to 1080p on VERY high settings on modern PCs.

Why would you need web browsing, you say? YOU are browsing the web RIGHT NOW! You can't update your MP3 player via a console, you need a PC, and that is a type of file management.

Look, PC is pretty upmarket, bit more expensive but much more complexity for higher fidelity (that you may not appreciate)

First off, the mod is available for free so I don't think that the developers are very worried about having an enormous number of people play it. Secondly, I do not believe that there is anything that makes Tomb Raider a console-specific game. As far as I know, every Tomb Raider game has been made available for PC which is more than can be said for any specific console. Also, why am I having this pointless conversation?
