Not a classy place to say the least and not worth living there or investing money in business or private property, unless your in a bad situation or trash. The cities with the most crime in Tennessee such as Memphis and Nashville both vote democrat and have large % of black people. The actual places, within these states, where these crimes take place are urban areas that usually vote democrat.

You also have to remember that since they take 'hand guns' into effect of violence that texans are big on gun ownership, additionally, they have drug violence spilling over from Mexico that would of course increase the amount of violent crime. That alone has unfairly tilted the results because A) studies also find that there is no correlation between civilian gun ownership in the US and violence Try comparing Kennesaw, GA with Chicago or DC in terms of both violence and gun laws), and B) the guns themselves did not commit any crimes. This is flawed thinking at its worst.

NYC banks tenants out of apts, bank$ter$ offshore USA, impose destitution on industrial parts of US in all areas -- see Camden, Detroit, NOLA, etc... LA and NYC price leverage manipulated markets: "bank-out." All price, no value.

Funny, liberals always claim to love "racial diversity" yet the most liberal "blue" states have the highest percentage of whites. Maine (safest state) has according to the 2010 census the highest white % in the US at 94.4%. New Hampshire (second safest) is 93.3% white. It seems these "tolerant liberals" like to segregate and live amongst other whites. So what you really are saying is minorities produce the most violence, especially southern blacks.

I can believe that about Nevada. Nevada doesn't want people to know about all the crime because it would hurt the tourism. But homeless people are always getting beaten or killed. SOOOO, the fact that they consider 'the avilability of small arms' as proof of violence, then the study is trash. According to studies increased guns (in the US) lead to decreased crime. If they only looked at violent crimes, then I could agree with this. As for 'rep' vs 'dem', since the study is trash due to faulty logic being used for the measurment, then it goes to indicate that such a indication is also false.

You also have to remember that since they take 'hand guns' into effect of violence that texans are big on gun ownership, additionally, they have drug violence spilling over from Mexico that would of course increase the amount of violent crime. A very detailed study would acctually have to be done to rule out other causes.
