  • @unbecome Thank you for the invitation, my friend, although I've studied MMA for 2 years and I actually practiced BJJ for 1 year. They are wonderful arts. However, I have been enlightened by actually fighting my current master and being struck by him, who has shown me things I could never have dreamed of seeing; more so of actually doing. He requires no faith for this to work; it actually does.MMA is great, but it is a sport. Mastering the breathing makes everything pale in comparison. Peace.

  • It is indeed a beautiful soundtrack...who is it that is playing, and what is the name of the piece being played please? Is there a CD or mp3 available of this music?

  • @Fupper16

I know exactly what you mean, I too have been training in taiji for 3 years so far, I learn chen style, and its true, you react without thinking.

  • @Fupper16 I wish that you never have to use your powers. peace!

  • So peaceful and empty. I truly admire those who train in Tai Chi.

  • anyone know where to learn tai chi in slovenia?

  • There is a brief clip of the Wudang master at 2:25 that I am looking everywhere in attempt to identify that particular facet of Wudang Tai Chi. I am a 13 short form Wudang practitioner but NONE of my movements contain those exact actions. If anyone is certain of what form he is using here could you please tell me and I would really appreciate it!

  • @Fupper16 Good luck! On the same path!

  • Jang Wuji, Alec su 's home !

  • @Fupper16 You will be fine, you know the basic truth and you are on your path.

Everything is first a notion, intention then it is an energy and finally becomes visible and felt in our World. Do I get it right somewhat at least? If you are in the harmony , the world supports you, if you are not , all your actions are resisted. That is why water is often mentioned as perfect player, adjusts to any vessel is in. maybe I am right.I try to learn all the time.

  • Absolutely beautiful, and amazing. The music also accompanied the piece perfectly, one of my all time favorite clips, period. If this clip doesn't give ypou some idea of the peace and power of Tai Chi, something's just plain wrong wit ya.

  • @Fupper16 if you have been training for 3 years you should see some results. The trick is to build your awareness and consciousness, the more awareness you have the more you can feel and move chi.

  • everybody can draw a picture, but only the talented one that can draw "monalisa".

  • @Fupper16 Sorry for being negative. But I think it is important to study taiji obejectively, rather than religiosly. Fighting is a serious sport. When a trained fighter attack you, it is not like imagination. To my knowledge, all the taiji masters who are good at fighting also trained very hard externally. In Chen and Yang's family, they have really tough training routine. It is only when they teach outside students, they say relaxation is all that you need.

  • @outsky2008 There are many paths to relaxation, my friend. I happen to have a very difficult training routine, but it is not designed to build the muscles; rather to put so much strain on them they cannot be used anymore. How you move afterwards is complete relaxation. Furthermore, vibration comes from many different things, mostly from relaxation, the diaphragm being pulled in and stopped suddenly, and the retraction of a strike extremely quickly. I hope I have answered you. Peace.

  • @Fupper16 I understand different schools have different theories of taichi. My point is that external excercise is very important if one wants to train taichi as a martial art. My experience is that taichi skill, muscle and cardio are all very important in push hand competition. I have push hand with guys from chen village, and international push hand champion. They all train hard externally and internally. Using vibration to disrupt opponent's heart rhythm is something I rarely heard of.

  • @Fupper16 I like to discuss with other taiji practitioners, even we have different opinions. I will brielfly tell my understanding of relax in taiji. I may not be right, but it currently works for me in push hand. "relax" to me means open up every joints so that the whole body becomes one connected elastic structure centered at the belly, dantian. If I relax without this elasticity and connection, I can easily get overpowered by brutal force. Soft and hard in taiji are all begining from elastic

  • @Fupper16 Taiji works great against strong untrainned opponents. But when the opponent has similar skills, it is often about who is stronger physically. Also, if one practice other martial arts at high level, it often becomes quite similar to taiji in many aspects. Anyway, it is nice to have the discussion with you.

  • @outsky2008 When you only use your eyes to see, you miss many details that are, at first, looked at as inconsequential; when explained in detail, you see they are in reality, imperative. Physical strength is limited in many, many facets. Learning to be in harmony and flow with your opponent is ultimately superior - no matter how much strength the opponent is using; trained or untrained; strong or weak; it is all classed under a single category: strength. Peace.

  • @Fupper16 If you study taiji objectively, you probably won't come to this conclusion. In fact, some of the most famous taichi masters in history have bad temper, overweight, and they don't live that long. True, relaxation and concentration are important in fighting, but "relax" in taiji is quite different from normal relax. If you relax normally, you can easily get over powered by your opponents. "using vibration to disrupt the opponent's heart rhythm" where do you get this idea?

  • "secret trainings".. horse puckey! Are you a martial artist or someone working for an advertising agency? How did the first Masters develop their techniques for there to be any sort of "secret trainings" for later generations to lord over people not from their schools? They refined their perceptions, calmed their minds and opened their awareness both within themselves and to the natural flows of the world around them. Power is in being, not in "secrets" or deceptions.

  • I wish I knew of a good place to learn Tai Chi and Qi Gong techniques. I've done some what you would call dilettante training, but I know I am neither efficient nor knowledgeable enough in my self-training.

  • Great Film.

  • '...cultivating your jing inside of you to be able to inflict some damage on some physical object or person requires the correct secret trainings and alot of time and effort.' So far non of the so call master can do all that BS they claim Tai Chi can do. All talk and notjhing to back it up. So far, have any body in the the world including the chinese themself have seen any real use in combat or they just heard stories. I can do any slow karate form and call it hybrid Tai Chi.

  • The "essence" of tai chi, is the complete qigong and neikung meditations that enable you to develop your jing, which is your internal power. Its not chi like most people think it is , we all have chi and people can not feel your chi(even if you draw more in from the universe) ,they can only feel your jing! cultivating your jing inside of you to be able to inflict some damage on some physical object or person requires the correct secret trainings and alot of time and effort.

  • i want to learn how to kick ass =/ why when i looka t a vid its only moving around =[

  • @XxReTROk1DxX because before you can "kick ass" you have to learn how to move your own ass first........and if your sole purpose is to 'kick ass' then internal martial arts is not for you....

  • @acesonfire jeez i just wanted to kick a little ass =/

  • @XxReTROk1DxX i guess that is understandable :)

  • @acesonfire lol :3

  • what a totally cool vid guys, he he

  • hello

  • Whats the soundtrack I would really like to find the music

  • what is the name of the form the students in yellow are practicing?

  • @recruitor2001 Its the Wudang 28 Tai Chi Chaun form

  • @recruitor2001 its the Wudang 28 Tai Chi Chuan

  • For those who wanted to comment then did not.

  • @Fupper16 Not sure this is correct, there is still mind it is just transformed. There is no self or identity involved,This is no mind, however without intent you have nothing but a limp body.As far as chi goes it depends on the minds intent, therefor your whole body should become mind, for mind becomes awareness, this becomes form, than from form,we can become formless. This also is the mind.Everything is mind, look at our out of control minds,as we destroy the planet, from having no mind.PEACE

  • @Fupper16 Not trying to insult anyone or put anyone down,I know from my own deep studies and continuous struggles how difficult it seems to understand, however I have come to know that when we want to try and do something we cant, what happens when we don't?I believe all martial studies have the ability to reach enlightenment,if studied correctly, but in the end alls we understand is there was nothing to understand, what we are looking for we already have.A problem occurs when we think we don't :):)

  • This is the style that I train. It's amazing to see how different it is here then there. There are similarities though

  • @Fupper16 yeah bro...u got the essence...train with this in mind, and soon you gonna reap the fruits of your work!

  • I can see the relation to Chen style in it. Very nice.

  • This is a very good video. Thank you for this!

  • AWESOME! Thank you so much...

  • I just visited Wudang for the first time. It's a wonderful place.

  • shaolin monk t-shirts:

    sunarmy.co.uk

  • it's nice there, I wish I would be there

  • most......don't understand!!! everyone wants to base there opinion on what's 'real', but real in most cases is what you've come to believe due to tv. to me, classical martial arts are more real than anything created in the last 30 years.

  • @idma amen! =)

  • @idma haha no doubt considering tai chi and qigong have been around for 7000 yrs

  • @idma however, there is an objective reality outside our bodies that is independant of our beliefs. at least if its outside the reach of our "aura" or "field".

  • That priests Single Whip and Grasping Sparrow movements are addictive, I keep watching them, flawless, you can see his Crane and Eagle training too, amazing.

  • I forgot where I was when I was watching this. Great video

  • wow, that is Tai chi the music for the soul and music the flow of chi for u.

  • I Love This. Is Very Beautiful. Congratulation for all Velzi Moreschi

  • wow thats amazing about the cholrite beautiful crystal you have there John love it <3

  • it doesn't need to be,it works the same as chi.it is always there, always flowing and can be harness to make yourself one with the earth&spirits.

  • I love Tai Chi so much more than yoga.

  • Wooow This master has the most fluid moves that I never saw !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that is a kickass soundtrack ! i love the whole video very nicely done.

  • What is the sound track? Very beautiful

  • What is the sound tack? Very beautiful

  • Powerful.

  • After the video I forgot what was in my mind. Hello? who am I? The Japanese have Empty Hands because they bought up so much U.S. debts, and now the Chinese have the Empty Minds because they are buying so much gold that they don't mind the coming U.S. dollar collapse. Maybe Empty mind means no worry a thing they learned from the Tao of Lion King.

  • it never ceases to amaze me how well these masters, and students, control.... utilize their jing and other energies.

  • I wana goto this place.

  • why does every one of these 'empty mind' videos have two guys fighting each other with comments, as you can see below this video?

  • @fernandesfran

because their minds are very empty (of intelligence :D )

  • @dunnobutwayne depends what kind of intelligence, intelligent intelligence [empty mind] or stupid intelligence [mainstream world]

  • @Czaendermajer the concept of intelligence will lead you down the wrong path....no matter if it is intelligent or stupid. The simple mind should be the unmoored boat, taken to where the water may. The intelligent mind should find compassion for the simple and respect for its path.

  • @looklikebuddha my intelligence has become psychotic in the search of total disincarnation and non-existance, i dont want existance, i dont want anything! why i forced to exist??? -________-

  • @fernandesfran i know, it bugs me too, really annoying init?

  • @fernandesfran their minds are imcompatible, ever tried plugging a ipod thing [digital mentality versatile and connective but delicate and frail] with a record player [mechanical mentality reliable hard often obsolete] although its theoretical, its that conflict has been made easy in this world because of generations of forcing it onto the human race, water flows where gravity takes it easiest, consider the fact we are 90%, i recommend you "the gods of eden" by willian bramley, very good book!

  • in a place like this, living in the open like they used to do centuries ago i would be amazed if a person is not atuned to nature

  • Is there anywhere I can find this music, it's gorgeous!

  • in london you tube only advertise karate classes in slough, thye are very rcaist anit chinesse ect but then being the best at something is ahrd for them so they ahve to cheta there wya in life ,its thier only power.

  • hye wu dnag ,they took me out of my empty mind as you say or my silence ,and habvent shut the crpa up ,cna you get me back there ,i cnat fil anything or conect with anyone .there all nutters

  • this music makes me want to cry. it's so elegant, beautiful, serene, tranquil, and sophisticated...yet simple. it makes me happy and at peace. thank you (if you could post music like this or message me about what it is =)

  • @DomDollx I have never heard such pretentious shit... the worst part is that I agree.

  • @Sivuras what? i don't understand what you mean....your comment makes you sound like a jerk but then it sounds as if you're trying to say it's so absurd that it's actually true?? clarify, it's bothering me -_-

  • @DomDollx I am a jerk, but I'm just saying I agree. It's just that it sounds pretentious. Don't take it to heart.

  • relaxing... :-)

  • and, yea... beautiful places attract sad minds... never mind. please note that dao is 'nowhere' and this 'nowhere' is everywhere.

  • it kind of is. once you love, you join ,)

  • I wish wudang were still pure as it was back in the day. now it's all touristy and they don't show u that! It's still magnificient and powerful, but packed with chinese tourist sprinkled with western foriegners. Wudang is like a circus now. No Taoism

  • @unjedi007 yeah man i agree with that! i live in Wuhan few miles away from Wudang, and i hate how it has become a tourist circus like you said. im not against people visiting, but i cant stand when ancient ruins/monuments/areas are run down with electronic gadgets to please our modern spoiled and lazed society..having young people walk around gazing at the historical wonders and as soon as they leave they don't give two flying ****s about it... makes me sick.

  • @unjedi007 nothing can escape westernization-capitalism-materialism-excess selfishness-.... money -.- native cultures will be consumed if at least part of the people stay smart and conservative. xP

  • @hanwenzero Maybe this cannot escape the world, but each of us can escape in our own way if we try.

  • @copperblade BOOZE DRUGS SEX FUCK YEAH

  • Talking about LOVE, simply out of topic... Anyhow, what type of love are you talking about, SELFISH LOVE or UNSELFISH LOVE or just simple passion... These masters are really cool; I wish I knew all the different arts. I know about 5 to 10; I guess that is enough for me. Art of fighting without fighting is the best....

  • Who want to learn Japanese or Chinese with me?

  • @lilylessons me me me!

  • @lilylessons i want to learn japanese...is it free lesson?

  • @lilylessons sure

  • great video

  • @ JoRoc22. It is a religion, just not a realized one. love and peace is the common groung for all religions.

  • it is!!!

  • Hi i am from india i want to learn tai chi

  • i wanna go here!!!learn tai chi and kung fu!

  • IM AM SO NOT TRYING TO BE STUPID RIGHT NOW!!! BUT AT 1:55 THAT LOOK LIKE THE SAME GUY FROM KARATE KID WHEN THEY WENT ATOP THE MOUNTAIN AND THAT GUY IN THE BLACK OUTFIT WAS THERE! THAT LOOKS JUST LIKE HIM o_o

  • @FatalDeity it is him

  • @Woostywoostinc IT is! wow that cool...I wanna Meet him!

  • @FatalDeity ye it does

  • @FatalDeity

Same person or not, Karate Kid (2010) actually went to the temples of Wudang mountains as part of their filming location.

  • Haha, Yuan Shifu for the win! Show 'em what you got, master!

  • It is enormous. These guy can do big hole in a wall with a finger

  • nice and real i will support

  • Beautiful, thanks for sharing

  • on 1:47 i LOL, seeing a guy watching off with a sword in hand, looks like hes getting ready for some ass kicking

  • @chwuwd

    LOL ! Thats a funny idea ^^

  • hey peeps, i've made an enlightening animation called 'The Marker Maker'.

I've made it to try and spread a feeling of joy, and as you watch i hope it prevents you from thought for a while. Please check it out if you have the time, its only two minutes long. thankyou :)

  • the mind can achieve anything were are just limited by our body so we have to strengthen both mind and matter to achieve a higher level. the world is at constant growth like a few years back someone might not have been able to do a certain acrobatic trick, but could visualise it no today it may be possible. the future will hold many discoverys.

  • The classics say the chi is controlled by the mind. The mind is capable of accepting many things and the state you put your mind in when directing chi is the important part. Todays science would have seemed mystical to the people of the past and the opposite is also true. First you must empty your cup so that it might be filled.

  • yeah, I agree with you. I understand that it is bad. We have many things to work on. Unfortunately right now, American culture seems to be driven by instant gratification, unhealthiness, and massive debt. But we are also a nation where every citizen has the right to speak freely, and all religions and people are tolerated. So at least in some ways I am very proud to live here.

  • all religions tolerated my ass.....

  • @YinGuoDao In my town alone there is a catholic church, a protestant church, two jewish temples, a scientology church, and a unitarian church. I also know of at least two mosques within thirty minutes of my house and a buddhist temple within two hours. In my high school one of my teachers was an orthodox jew who wore a yarmulke and one of my classmates was a muslim girl who wore a hijab to class every day. If this is not religious toleration I don't know what is.

  • @YinGuoDao But I will say that there are areas in America where a specific religion dominates, and that sometimes there is prejudice and acts of violence, but every American citizen by law has the right to practice his or her own religion in peace. Sometimes laws are broken. Also, after our country was attacked by Islamic terrorists, prejudice was shown toward Muslims. But the point is that the first amendment on the American Constitution is the freedom of religion.

  • @YinGuoDao whatever religion you are, I bet you that it is practiced freely in the U.S., and I bet that you would have no problem practicing it here if you wanted to. Even if you are atheist, by law you are entitled to your own opinion. And even though America is in a big state of confusion and turbulence right now, the philosophy on which it is founded is pretty strong and I am hoping that it will see us through to a better time.

  • @YinGuoDao Hopefully we will all start doing t'ai chi and stop eating Mcdonald's too.

  • i understand what you say but in parts where i live, im unable to be open about it without being persecuted. at least where i live anyway. half my family is catholic, the others are eilther extremely christian, satanist, atheist, or Buddhist haha. but thts only within my family. lol

  • replace chi with holy spirit and maybe that will help. I understand in situations with bigoted family members it may be hard to drive this point home but there's science behind it that proves qi/chi is just BioEm (and thus not so mystical to the uninitiated) so I hope that may help. i was in the best condition of my life when i ate 100% organic & did qigong everyday with meditation. it is truly a blessing no matter where you think blessings come from. good luck

  • you only think you have the right to speak freely....democracy is a mask.

  • @ShepherdInTheFlock - I don't know what you mean by that.

  • We are more free than any other country in the world and are blessed for that reason, however, freedom only goes so far...just means that we have a longer leash than the rest of the world...

  • If only LOVE were a religion...

  • if u believe in it its a religion

  • @JoRoc22 but it is

  • @JoRoc22 That is as much of a religion as you want it to be.

  • @JoRoc22 Actually, LOVE is much much more; most simply don't realize it

  • @JoRoc22 It's higher than any religion

  • @ShaolinHero1 religion : directed belief. belief: missing the point. point: specific in a generalised setting. fun: figuring out where to allow the mind to not go

  • @ShaolinHero1 dont say somthing like that just cuss they belive different stuff doesnt mean its higher then any religion show some respect man if u have no knowledge about other religion its best to not talk at all

  • @JoRoc22 I feel you on that. The only thing is that humans seem to be attached to the need to control things and put things in a box per se. LOVE can't be a religion becuase it transends the very human concepts of LOVE or the various types of LOVE: agape, eros, storge, and phila.

  • @JoRoc22 I'm sure people would love it... :-)

  • @JoRoc22 well if u look at it more of a philiosophic point of view like deepac chopra once said that wether it's buddha or mohammed or jeus or whoever you believe in the bottom line is love and love is the thing that connects us all together

  • @JoRoc22 religion is just a faith. so technically love is a religion to me. i beleive in it and love everyone. but sometimes i am a forgetful ars hahaha

  • @otherdude15 religion is learning how to love God. God gave us love, therefore your statement is inferior.

  • @punksush1 i dont kno wtf i was saying hahaha

  • @otherdude15 forgetful lol. ..

  • @punksush1 all i kno is that every religion teaches us how to be a better person. and to be a better person u gota love. love, respect, nature, people watever and so on. o yeah and one more thing i dont believe god as one superior being or watever, i think everybody is a part of god. so in respect we gota love ourselves in a way....something like that haha.

  • @JoRoc22 .. it is ....

  • @JoRoc22 realy thumbs up, but... religion focuses about spirituality and the holy spirit [god] but you see it does the opposite[ruins spirituality and creates evil unneccesary material hardships] do not make love into a religion, for religion is a control, make love easier than hate, water flows where gravity easiest takes it, we are 90% water so we have the same attitude! if love whas easier than hate, everybody would do love, the image of hate and love has been twisted!!!

  • @JoRoc22

it is! only you feel to see it! :)

meditate on it..it wil come to you! ^^

  • We are all dual in this journey of life.

    Meaning we are all one.

    (in this together)

  • HUMAN IS THE REASON FOR FIGHTING lets all listen to some irish fiddling and our live will move on alot better :DDDDDD

  • amazing!

  • Abandoning is not the way. The fact that people do not understand its meaning cannot be blamed upon the religion itself, but on the ones that misunderstand. What use has the fading of religion if the problem lies within the imperfect human race?

  • Religion is not poisonous, if you see it in its whole, and take only the parts to heart you believe in. I am a Taoist myself, and I know there are parts of the religion that I, and others as well, do not agree with. Make the religion into your own way of life, do not practice parts of it you do not agree with and do never lay it upon others when they do not agree with it out of free will. Religious wars do only exist becouse some do not understand what it means.

  • @Caranuil that's true. but if people can't understand their own religion and it causes war shouldn't it be abandoned?...

  • Nice to see real Wudang Taoist Tai Chi on Youtube.

Does anybody do this style in the west?

  • empty the mind. and try again. you are all missing the point. does it realy matter.
