  • I use fishing rods with the chian on the ends it works fast without sticking your hands up in there. oh they sell differnt sizes to. just sharing ideas thanks

  • @gresth36 Fishing rod huh? Never tried that before. Thanks for the tip! I've got other ways to do it too. This was just one way, for a short run. I generally use a steel tape (that I call a "fish" tape....my version of the fishing pole? lol). I use the fish tape for longer runs. It has a loop at the end that healps out too. Joe :0

  • I'm still not feeling it either ;-)

  • @xx8xx This was kind of a lame video to show on how to fish a wire down a wall but I had my camera set up for some other stuff so I thought I would shoot it anyway. This would be for someone who has never done this before. This technique could be used for longer runs. The best way to do this is how I'm doing it, with the box removed or at a new cutin box location, so you can get the wire down more easily. Are you feeling it a little more now?!!...lol Thanks for your comments. Joe :0

  • @VideoJoeKnows I was just teasing. Thanks for posting the vid ;-)

  • @xx8xx Oh now you tell me that!!.....lol OK....it was the best video I've ever done....how about that?!!....not really. I did some other fishing too so not sure why I did this particular one. I just wanted viewers to get the idea that if "joe" could do it, they (you in this case) could do it too. Thanks for checking out my videos. Hope there's some videos in here, that you can use to save yourself a few bucks. If there is, let me know. If you need help with something, let me know. Joe :0

  • any dummy can do that...

  • @mtanyc You'd be surprised how many viewers have watched this short video. That's why I made it. To show how anyone can do this. It helps viewers get their confidence on yes, they "can" do it & it's not so hard after-all. Glad to hear you can already do this. If you're attempting to fish further than this, it pretty much works the same way. If you can't snake your wire down further lengths, then use a steel tape, which will help out. I have a video for this. Look for it. Joe :0

  • @mtanyc Maybe I should've titled it "fishing for dummies"!!....lol Joe :0

  • What if someone's hands are too fat, why not tell them the proper way. You left all the fat fucks out in the dark now they dont know hot to snake a wire.

  • @Chewylu103 Hey Chewy, sorry about not telling you a different way to do this. You could put a loop at the end of your wire, before fishing down the wall. Then you can take a spare piece of wire, put a loop in that & grab the wire in the wall with that, from the other hole, then pull out of the hole. Try that. I've had to do it that way sometimes too. It works out good. Will that work for you? Hope so. Joe :0

  • @Chewylu103 Fat hands or not, as the latter part of the video showed, one is not required to stick his entire hand into the hole in order to fish wire.

  • @strumpeteer lol are you hunting down my comments man? lol i hope you know i was being sarcastic haha

  • @Chewylu103 It's good to see some of my viewers communicating to one another on my video comment area. Cool! Joe :0

  • @Chewylu103 Nah, nothing really pointing directly at you. I dunno how I got to this video from the other video, but for some reason you're here too lol. Anywho, just trying to say that this is a helpful video for people who have no idea what fishing wire is.

  • @strumpeteer Thanks for sending in your comments. Joe :0

  • thanks

  • @kohit7 You are most welcome. Thanks for checking out "joe's videos". The more you watch.....the more you learn. Keep learning. Joe :0

  • Hey Joe, you might want to try using one of these Mille-Rods, they're an inexpensive push pull or "fish" rod that is easy to carry, store and use. It would have knock some time off the installation for only about $20!

  • @MilleComProducts Thanks for your interest in helping my viewers save time & money! I watched your informative video & liked what I saw. I also included your video response so my viewers can check your "tool" out. Thanks for taking time out to tell me about your Mille-Rods. Good call. Joe :0
