    but lost from Connor MacLeod!!

From the Dawn of Time we came, moving silentlly down throught the centuries, living many secret lives, struggling to reach the Time of the Gathering, when the few who remain will battle to the last. No one has ever known we were among you- UNTIL NOW___

  • F.Y.C. MEGA TALENTED ,SO UNDERATED IN THE HISTORY OF MUSIC , CRYING SHAME !!!

  • one of Britains finest. Up there, it's what we do best. Sad downfall to the groul trotted out by media corps

  • Great Song !!!

  • I love this song and I believe that the day I begin to analyze every part of the music that I like to listen to will be a very sad day for me.We all have different tastes so if this is not your kind of song then that is okay.

  • Harry Watson approves this

  • fine young cannibals wat a band gr8 tune i love it says a lot dosent it , especially when u hear it and not just listen to it peace and love thx for the upload its been awhile since i hear this tune cheers :)

  • Amazing...Thanks!

  • thanks for uploading - great memories (c:

  • Top song - long live the 80s - betta than the crap u hear today! Really feel for the young's today they missed a good era of music! One day it will come back!

  • @MrMarcoc74 there is SO much good music available to kids right now, most of it made by kids, allot of young soul singers, inventive musicians, great folk artists...EVERYTHING, we have come out of the dark ages ..BUT you wont find it on the radio, it's all to be found the internet. Good luck. Oh and I was born in 1967 so I KNOW.

  • @sxipshirey True dat. I was born in 1962 and I still find tons of new music that I love just as much as the old stuff.

  • Modern? What is modern? The very singers of the mainstream are conservative. They have a modern shape, but the contents are romantic and superficial (gagas, brits, etc).

  • @arqpita WTF are u on about ? like or not like ? conservative ? modern shape ? romantic ? superficial ?... yeh ooh-kaay.. (not!)

  • QUERO TER UM MILHÃO DE AMIGOS EU ME CHAMO ULISSES JUNIOR SOU POETA UM BEIJO PRA TODOS VOCÊS.

  • A great song, became one of my personal favourites from first time I hear it.

  • Future popstars' pay attention ,take notes

  • i love watching them dance. its great. xxx

  • this was done on fretless?

  • Top track, top band and top upload - thanks.

  • I loved this band when they came out uba cool dudes!

  • wow. xxx

  • ...ez még mindig ász..jó..

  • oh how i miss the 80's. The raw and the cooked is a great album.

  • @bonobonner The whole album is great accept this song isnt on it

  • these boys were original and made some great tunes. i especially like the guitarust Andrew Cox moves...awesome!!

  • @stingyringpiece Yeah! David Steele too! It's really cool how they are both moving with their instruments! brilliant stuff!

  • @stingyringpiece

I'm not trying to critisize this comment or anything, but these guyy's were an "offshoot" of "The Beat", or the "UK Beat" as the were known in the USA. Blooody copyright !. I am afraid a lot of their material was cover verions.

But they did some incredible versions of these. (unlike some other bands that spring to mind...) Their version of The Buzzcocks "Have You Ever Fallen In Love With..." is a classic.

  • @roddy76to86 Every band has their influences buddy !. I'm hopeing you are not an American because most/all of your influences come from our ' LIL OLL ISLE ' We invent it !, kick it out ! and the shermans follow ! We have history running through our nation, you have a long time to go before you catch up.

  • @Stozzler1

No I'm certainly not American. But perhaps worse: Scottish !

This indendance farcical debate up here is doing me heid in, so I've been ignoring it. We have our own Parliament back again.

I am both proud to be a Citizen of the UK and Scottish. Is there anything wrong with that ?

  • @roddy76to86 Nothing wrong at all mate, think yourself lucky, I'm a Geordie !

  • @Stozzler1

That's the best "crack" I've seen on YouTube for months ! The one thing I've never accused a Geordie of is a lack of a sense of humour.

If Scotland ever does get indepedence, as far as I'm concerned the border could be shifted a bit, and Newcastle would be most welcome in Scotland.

  • Aaaahhh 80's, the best decade for music!

  • My god he can open his mouth wide when he sings

  • didn't know indie rock existed already in the 80's

    awesome track!

  • @TheElectricRob not inde, its old school ska

  • @TheElectricRob there was a TON of indie rock in the 80's, it was mostly in the underground/college rock scene. You had to really hunt it down to discover it. No internet to find it. Those were the wonderful days when finding awesome music really meant something due to all the work it took.

  • @neph13 So true. Music 'afficianados' now don't know what it's all about!!

  • Joleon Lescott

  • TTTTUUUUNNNNEEEE

  • love this song. not heard it years. and still sounds bril to me. xxx

  • they were good...

  • Splendid!!

Music videos where much more watchable in the 80's.

    Less BS than today.

  • Famous name ( to me anyway ) from the past. Always knew them as FYC. Not heard this song in a long while. Nice memories.

  • Realmente hace falta grupos que hagan musica como FYC..Esto era realmente musica.

  • Superbo...!!!...

    @Beppe

  • Dats the shtuff!

  • FAIR ENOUGH HE COULD SUCK ON A FOOTBALL LOL

  • @goonluv true.... he could sucka bowlingbal trough a garden hose!

  • WISH THEY WOULD DO A COME BACK ALBUM FANTASTIC !!!!!!!!

  • Fantastic voice - haunting and powerful.

  • this band had soul alright, and the singer had one big fucking mouth lol!

  • i agree that you still occasionally get good music these days, but overall the quality of music is utter shite now. its all dance, r 'n' b and so on, most of which is mass-produced, fucking souless, completely talentless crap that all sounds the same. musicians just dont put the same effort into their music that they used to, they rip-off old songs and try to pass them off as their own cos their audience is too young to know any different, at least dance was original in the 90s, not now ffs...

  • Con sordino!

  • @HOLLYwoodgoesFRANKIE Thanks for the upload!!! Great tunes back in the 80's. Nice!!!

  • how is it i can remember words from songs like this 20 yrs ago and the music of today nothing a different time i suppose.

  • music of my youth great band.

  • This still sounds as good today as when it first came out...brilliant and thanks for uploading!

  • @PrometheansMusic yo momma was a snowblower.

  • @PrometheansMusic Why are you leaving messages on music you don't like?....very strange. I suggest you don't ever visit my channel, because you won't find anything modern on there! LOL

  • @HOLLYwoodgoesFRANKIE

for the same reason other people leaving ''likes''.

for me there's no reason to leave ''like' or 'don't like".

    for others maybe is democracy.

you let people vote to your channel but you like only ''likes",you don't like,"don't like"

    that's strange too,don't you think?

  • @PrometheansMusic may i politely ask you to fuck off and maybe learn to spell ...you clown ...

  • @PrometheansMusic good, cause you sound boring.

  • @PrometheansMusic well fuhk off then, no cunt will miss you!!!!

  • @PrometheansMusic I just listened to 6 Muse tracks, they're ok, but it's all been done before by other heavy-ish Indie bands. Black Keys are sufficiently different to be interesting. KHO are amazing! Really different, I'll listen to more of that and may even buy an album!. Fine Young Cannibals were a stand out band in their day. No one in the Ska genre was even remotely like them. They were brilliant.

  • @PrometheansMusic Son, you weren't born in the 80's! (Neither was I, but I prefer it over modern music.)

  • @PrometheansMusic i have nothing against muse there alright but i dont go to other shitty modern bands and put a snide comments in "this is fukin boring" so why come here and whine about something you don't like. keep it to yourself and enjoy your trash.

  • we would have to wait 68 years to live the 80's again

  • fuck me what fun i had in the 80's!! left school, then joined the Army and hell its now 2012 !! wish i could go back though, a few mistakes i could erase............

  • Roland, where'd ya go?

  • the trumpet guy looks like him off only fools and horses lol

  • I believe it is based on the 70s docu-film "johny come home" about a young rent boy in londons seedy soho/. Well that was what the vibe was back in the 80s

  • I wonder what ever happened to Johnny

  • @PoshLifeforME I believe it was based on the 70s docu film "johny come home" about a young rent boy in london. Rarely ever shown now as it is quite horrific and shocking. Well that was what i was told when this came out

  • The 9 dislikes were old people that were deaf

  • Certainly a great time. I remember meeting Roland in a pub (probably the Bot rather than the Polar Bear) on Spring Bank, near our beloved Adelphi and laughing out loud that they'd recorded Ever Fallen in Love. MORE FOOL ME. Lame(acute) yes. Lame(no acute) no. Thanks for the memories boys.

  • SKANKIN!

  • lmfao he can't dance to save his natural but, hey none of us could & we loved it! I was a late teen in the 80's & it rocked more than anyother decade...FACT! <3

  • could a combo such as this one make it in these fashion dominated times? hell no! but they were great,a lot of the 80's bands were..the 80's were great!!!

  • simply unforgettable...........johnnny johnnny wont u come on home.......

  • awesome song! but every time he opens hes mouth i get the feeling hes gonna eat my face!

  • Music from the 50's, 60's and 70's are nolonger being played on the radio. Sad to think the 80's will be next. :(

  • i always the way Andy Cox danced.

  • My Dad introduced me to this song during the Christmas season. I have probably listened to it 400 times by now.

  • @MrJamesTonto I was about to say exactly the same thing... with my dad, christmas, the 400 times and everything x)

  • The lyric about getting drunk every night is so me.

  • adoro questa canzone

  • Amazing how many memorable bands are from North of Watford , I can't think of any good music to have come out of Bournemouth !

  • It's amazing how well put together this song is!! God i'd kill for music like this to come back!!! I want to back to the 80's! 88mph...................

  • amazing

  • <333

  • the bass player is cool

  • Don't just sit there. If you feel that way, do something about it.

  • 2012...seems like yesterday i was listening to these guys...where did it all go wrong? the wankers running the world have killed anything original...its 'one' fuckin mono EU regulated big brother shit hole we live in..

  • @masonfreeparty ...I feel the same way...what the hell went wrong?

  • @masonfreeparty I like this old stuff, too, but there is enough new and innovative music out there - activate your curiosity and check it out! E.g. Catgroove by Palov Stelar

  • @masonfreeparty

    It's what your votes condone.

  • wat waren we toen nog knap he !!!!

  • Rhythmically superb. Great stuff, love the bass and muted guitar picking. totally forgot about this song from my 6th form days.

  • one of those songs that never fades

  • pretty cool.

  • He sounds a bit like Gollum from LOTR.

  • fukin rights awsome n real

  • Here's tune pure class...x great voice...x

  • The guy with the trumpet is struggling to play it, as someone has stuck a bung in it. I bet his lungs hurt.

  • I remember being a kid and seeing this video time and again on the chart show. I hated it. It just goes to show you that alot of the time you can only appreciate good music as you get older. Its a shame you dont get music like this now days

    Great song. Great band!

  • 0:17 this guy has a giant mouth

  • Saw this on MTV Top 100 of the 80's a year ago, now it's one of my favourites. Im 17, and fuck if this isn't a thousand times better than the shit coming out nowadays

  • A great track and a great video. Plus, it was nice to see McLaren from Porridge on the trumpet!

  • @Angrboda999 i never noticed that lol i left england 12yrs ago thats funny shit

  • Yep got a classic here loves it many thanks ah 1987 :DDDD

  • I always wandered why he wide open his month like that ! Love the song thou.

  • great song

  • dancing till dawn on this, with my beloved friend Kettie .S uit Bergen nh !

  • Which bass is he playing?

  • @Miscegenationify big mouthed bass. you can usually find them in colder waters.

  • Now if bands today can be original as this, we would be a happy world. You can't even tell bands apart these days, they all sound the same. It's so fukin boring! The 80's rocked!

  • @tallcoolone09 thunbed up because you are dead right! i weep for our children.

  • @tallcoolone09 You are so right ! It hurts !

  • @tallcoolone09 clearly have made this statement after observing only what has been fed to you...if you look for good music there is more today than ever before

  • @tallcoolone09 :you are just closed minded. i would think the same thing if i did not force myself to listen to much new music and find the gems. there is good music, creative, new stuff from all era's!!! you sound like your grandma!

  • @donnywal there is no good stuff from this era, sorry bro! it's all cookie cutting sounds. singers are picked and molded. they don't write their own music, it's all made for them. they probably can't even all sing, luckly for the sound machines that make them sound oh so perfect. and your right about my grandma tho, she hates this shit today too!!

    Cheers!!! ... ;)

  • @tallcoolone09 in the past er5ze3htsdgc you sitheqadhk

  • @tallcoolone09 very true! theses guys, bronski beat, erasure etc. where dealing out proper dance tunes b4 house emerged! Great Hi-Energy stuff...

  • NVDB "no visible dislike bar"

  • God this guy had one heck of a voice, i miss the 80's

  • this is one of my favorite songs of the 80s!

  • Never heard it before AND I'm a product of the 80's. I grew up on 80's music and never once heard this song. NOT a hit.

  • @jackal242 isnt it a shame that their best song was never really played?

  • All I can say is that I loved all his stuff and he is fine!! Hott!!

  • His brother was brought up here in kerry ireland, both adopted, he is now a great artist, both talented, his other brother starred in saving private ryan and a movie where his best mate was a football.

  • I hear this song like every work day, it plays on the speakers at my store. fuckin' love this shit!

  • 2.55 is so cool
