I would take a serious look at the RMR-30. I love my Sub 2K in 9mm and think Kel-Tec makes a great product with a large demand...so large, it takes time to find them. It's worth the wait.

This is the second or third video that I have seen where that shotgun jams up.

I find that to be of great concern and because of that I will wait till they work the bugs out, I will get a Benelli SuperNova Tactical instead.

@usarmycaptainamerica This is one of the prototypes that has a few issues on it still. There is a more recent version of the gun that had fixed and addressed some of the issues they had. The gun is sweeet to shoot. Tons of fun once you get used to loading the bullpup design

The design reminds me very much of the South African Neostead that I had always hoped would make it to the US.

It is probably not the best customer relations decision to release video of the gun jamming time and again, as I am sure it give myself and many others pause.

I am pleased to see the RMR functioning in a reliable manor as that will be one of the firearms thats finds a home in my go bag.

@usarmycaptainamerica I have to disagree about putting out videos of guns in less than perfect working conditions. It's a fact that guns can and will malfunction for a wide assortment of reasons. I take my hat off to the Kel Tec guys for bringing prototypes out to subgun matches to make them break. How else do you perfect the design? I'm sure static testing in an indoor range only goes so far in terms of real world functionality. Check this post out. Search youtube for "Kel tec KSG update"

@MiniUziDotCom-- We will have to agree to disagree then lol. The malfunction took place in the first 6 seconds of the video. He was not low crawling through the mud, or coming crossing a river with th egun submerged in water.

I love Keltec and admire them for their innovative designs.

Seeing malfunctions in this video from a man that was sitting in a chair and got off two rounds before the gun jammed does not make me say hey let me go out and spend $800 on a weapon I cannot depend on.

@usarmycaptainamerica-- When I purchase a firearm it is a defnse oriented weapon that I would use in defense of my life or even more important to me the lives of my family

I did see the update you spoke of and was pleased to see that they are continuing to evolve the design of this shotgun.

When I feel that this gun is dependable and proven it will be on my list to purchase, but it will be a while we have about 8-9 months before it is released anyways so hopefully the kinks gone by then.

@usarmycaptainamerica Lots of fanbois for keltec, i was one. Had a PF9. Jam-Oh-Mattic. Got rid of it. Ordered a PA-63 to hold me over for the moment. Won't own another Keltec again, except the RMR/PMR30's. Only semi auto 22 mags for decent price in handgun and carbine.

@SupremeAmerican-- I think the PMR/RMR combo would be great for a go bag. I really like KELTECs innovative designs, and saw a newer video with their bullpup shotgun which functioned much better they had redesigned several parts of the weapon.

I hope they continue to improve on their designs because I do not buy weapons based on the cool factor, I buy them purely based on function.
