I wanna thank you Lance Miller, I got BBQ running through my veins and this video gave me goosebumps cause I'm also OHIO born-bred, now relocated to TEXAS where they swear by being BBQ KINGS, but your video has proved to me, NOBODY does it like WE DO FROM OHIO baby! LOL
I´ve been going through the hole video making lots of saliva like pavlov´s dog !! would you post the marinate recipe for a friend in Mazatlán, Mexico ? greetings
Very nice. Looks like serious ribs goin' on there! I've tried soaking pork in apple juice before smoking it and that's worked out pretty good. Hope you'll take a look. Thanks for a great video.
BTW...there are some real useful vids on how to make your smoker more efficient. Google Char griller mods. For buckeyes....you guys did a pretty good job.
You guys aint fooling me somebody there works in a kitchen, you cant get those pans them ribs were marinating in just anywhere lol... Good stuff though..
well done guys,,,good cooking team work u & brother,,,plus i far i see those lock good ,,the convination gas & charcoal,,,,okey,,,,i give u guys a 8.5 score,,,,good job,,,,,so how won on the game anywas?,,,and go broncos,,,,now we in the mountain west conference,,, this coming BCS champion is going to be us.....
I just got my Brinkmann charcoal smoker after FIVE years of not being able to BBQ at my apartment. Wanted to let you guys know that I think the spray bottle is genius. Thank you for the video. So hungry now.
I'm giving serious thought to getting the Char Griller Duo... but I'm hesitant due to the claims of how bad it rusts up. As an owner, what are your thoughts? I seen it at a local farm/feed store this week on sale for 25% off... ($300 listed price, so $225+ tax)... it's a bit hard to resist.
@pringals I've had one now for about a year and a half and just the firebox has rusted however I keep it covered when I'm not using. Mine still works fabulous however there are 2 things that you have to be careful about with these grills. My thermometer is off by around 25 degrees I have read about some being off as much as 50 degrees so until get to know yours watch food closely and mine has always had a hot spot in it no matter how long the charcoal burns down just have to be careful.
get a bigger grill so that you don't have to cram your ribs together like that - and GO DUCKS!!! you may have the Rose Bowl trophy, but have a BBQ trophy so I can talk about this - won't hear me say nothing about the game though. congrats and see you in Glendale 2011
hey, nice lookin ribs, check out some of my videos. one tip for you though, ditch that sprayer and go to lowes and get a hand pump sprayer in the garden section, holds about a gallon. it witll make your life a whole lot easier
