Hey nice video. I wouldn't worry about the negative comments. Most people commenting here have no idea what they're talking about and probably haven't spent a lot of time in the dojang. It's easy to slam someone you've never met to make yourself feel a little better. Martial arts in general and TKD in particular teach respect and courtesy, so anyone who doesn't demonstrate these can't be a very good student.

Its about everything, the real history of taekwondo. How it was truthfully founded and what styles it is made of, instead of fairy tales found on the internet. With direct references and quotes from the founders themselves. Its the most informative and accurate book ive read on TKD. I especially love how taekwondo was used when it was first made(military, for killing), considering they only had roughly 10 techniques all together they trained and thats it, very cool information. A MUST BUY!

i'm sry but i'm gonna rate this video a 3. It's a cool video but it doesn't show "what taekwondo is". It listed a bunch of things that made up Taekwondo. Saying taekwondo is board breaking is like saying a cake is flour, it's just one ingredient. What taekwondo really is is a attitude, and a state of mind.

I`m not sure what you're getting at. The ITF stances are the same as Shotokan, Gojuryu, Kyokoshin, Jujitsu, Ninjutsu, Aikido etc. They're all based around the same form and stances: front/wanking stance, back/cat stance, horse/sitting stance, fixed stance, short stance and so on. Are all these other martial arts also 'crappy'? - No! I think you probably just dislike Taekwondo for some reason.

to redmispete, Taekwon-Do is created by GRAND Master Choi Hong Hi

he study Karate Shotokan and Taekyon(Traditional Korean Martial Arts, only uses kicks and foot work),that's why the stances same as shotokan.just a little information, because i'm a ITF member.Go ITF!!! The Raising Dragon!
