and ya, if nobody knows that clapton grew up with gibsons, including the very famous 335 and painted SG not to mention the '59 LP, then you DONT know clapton
I'm confused Dan,is this the Metro amp like Phil has or is this something totally different? If it is the metro-what's the difference between the 45 that Phil has &50? Cheers
This amp was made with some Metro parts, but mostly just ala cart parts plus NOS capacitors and put together by a great amp builder Gary B. It's a JTM50 so it has EL34 and not KT66 like Phils amp. Its also MUCH louder!! Other than that, very similar.
No, I don't have an audio software up and running now...so I'm relying on the mic coming directly from the mic from the camera tho the sound is 16bit....whatever that means? LOL. I either need to find a way to hook up another mic to this camera or into the sound card as I'm video taping so the audio source is the card and not the camera???
You had me at that big fat waggly bend at :25. This is a little crisper and tighter than the JTM45 track but both get that "cello" thing going on with the low nots. Lots of fun Phil!
Where do players like yourselves learn to play amazing blues? I still can't figure out how to use the blues scale even if I already memorize and zip through it... but to improvise it like this one is just too cool
Some parts were purchase via Metro, but no, this was built by my friend. His amps are just incredible and the build quality is mil-spec. He's THAT good. Thanks man!!
wonderful playing, im about 5 years off this hahaha

@skydog46 oh no that was a reply to jamima222. He said "YOU HAVE TO PLAY CLAPTON ON A FENDER" . Nice playing btw,

@skydog46 Steppin' Out = Bluesbreaker's Clapton periode before Cream = Gibson ES335 or Les Paul =) It's that simple.
Speackoolm 9 months ago
@jamima222 you are incredibly ignorant. clapton started out on les pauls, SG's and Es-335's before he even touched a strat.

Here's a stupid question: How do you mic your amp? Do you us an SM-58 microphone?
I just bought a cheap 15$ mic so I could record my voice when I vlog, but it's crap (obviously).
Capturing sound with precision is a problem, unless you don't care about that kinda thing. How do you deal with it?
Cheers, and good job. Thanks for the sounds, buddy.

I have a recording program called Audacity which is awsome. My problem is the mic.
And the one video I made of myself talking, I recorded through the mic and later realised that the integrated mic in my camera did a better job.
Gotta love my Canon Powershot!
You music comes out loud and clear, so don't fix what ain't broken, right? Cheers!
