@Mnique7 You really shouldn't use the AKA call if you aren't a soror- if you want to pledge, do it because of their values and principles not to fit in and feel like you are part of the clique- AKA is a sisterhood- pls do your research on all the ors first before you choose & choose wisely- pls do not disrespect my sisterhood.
As a member the a Divine9 organization Delta Sigma Theta, I feel that you (Monique7) are setting yourself up for failure. Regardless of what you wish to pledge, you shouldn't post it on a public website such as this one. If an AKA was to see this and find out who you were, you probably wouldnt make it. I hate to say it but its true. They would take it as Akeem17, you want it for the wrong reason. All im sayin is be wise sweetie.
@mpdst1913 I'm not saying all delta's or you do this. It might just be from where I'm from. but why do some of the delta's not like AKA's. Calling them stuckup and prissy? I havent heard an AKA talk about a delta yet.
@Thesweetest985 in most cases its not that they dont like eachotha its just friendly competition. Now dependin on where u from there mayb sum personal issues going on but other than that, thats all it is sweetie. And as far as you not hearing an AKA talkin about a Delta....just cuz u havent heard it doesnt mean its not happenin. BUT as i said before half of the time its just friendly competition.
@mpdst1913 A lot of future pledgers at my school always talk about how they gone be a DST and that AKA's are lame and stuckup and ect. and that I look like an AKA. I did a report on both sororities and learned a LOT about their principles and what they promote and I know that's what matters. Not how they step, act, or look. I seriously don't know which I'll pledge cuz I need to think about what I stand for but when I do decide..mums the word. Thanx for the insight

Apparently these girls have their head on wrong and are not looking at the bigger picture. Clearly they need to do there research and make better decisions and not make such foolish comments.
@Thesweetest985 It is funny that you mention that, because I have noticed the exact same thing. I have YET to see an AKA belittling a member of dst outside of a step routine but I have witnessed the reverse more times that I can think to name. That has always been such a turnoff for me about deltas, the negativity that they ALWAYS seem to portray toward the AKAs, outside of competitions.
how bout you pledge because of there principles and not the way they stroll and dress omg confuse children these days wanting to be a certain org because of the stereotypes and the way they act
