everytime an or Canadian English person has sugary they go to america LOL LOL LOL... Not being able to chose you insurance company LOLOLOL... I'm not going to even try to mention the rest no to the first second if you actually listen to how it works basically you choice the insurance company you want then you get put into a pile of people who have the same insurance. because of that insurance companies will take you as a group you get a cheaper deal its like when you buy in bulk.
The United Kingdom managed to build the NHS just after the second world war where debt to GDP was SHIT TONS higher than america's today
because they realized they could save money and put that money back into the health service to provide a service that was not just better that but would be able to treat everyone.
it is one of those extremely rear moments where you can truly have your cake and eat it because rather than money going to share holder etc its all going to the hospital.
The US health service is falling apart 16% of GDP goes to healthcare but its not because but if your saying that universal healthcare is bad. the united kingdom only spends 8% of GDP on healthcare and covers everyone
Chile life expectancy of 78.8 has universal healthcare better life expectancy than the US 78.1 and actually beats the UK for inefficiency but the UK has 80.1
you spend more than double the UK on healthcare and leave 45 million people uncovered because your per captia GDP is higher.
The Obama Health care bill under Class II (Paragraph 1, Section B) specifically includes ‘‘(ii) a class II device that is implantable." Then on page 1004 it describes what the term "data" means in paragraph 1, section B:
Did you seriously use yahoo as your source of information.
Please go check out the OECD statistics database and WHO to get some real stats on the costs and outcomes of the various health care systems in the developed world.
Lol "if I have a cold now you shouldnt have to wait atleast 6 months to have that taken care of" hahhahaha All your points are complete fabricated bull shit. Over 90% of Canadians are happy with there health care. Can you say the same for Americans?
You know its not only poor people who cant get insured. But i guess as you say, its all there mistake so fuck them. Just kick them to the curb and let them die. So much for being the "United" States.
In Canada everybody has health care yet we pay 55% less per person than Americans. Obama isnt the problem, These corrupt Insurance Companies are the problem. Too many fucking ignorant Americans. You're worried about poor people get insurance while the people at the top fuck you in the ass. I dont know about you but I dont any sick people walking around. I dont care if they're poor i dont want them passing diseases around.
So if you had Cancer previously with old system you wont be able to get insurance? But with Obama Care you can get insurance in 6 months. "I dont know about you guys Im not of anybody who has Cancer is in the posion to wait 6 months for there insurance to kick what are they supposed to do without Chemo" HMMMMMM so how in the fuck are they going to get Chemo with the old system if they cant get insurance?? I think id rather wait 6 month for it than not be able to have it at all.
What other Countries arent happy with it???? Everyone comes over to America for healthcare??? Are you fucking stupid? An extremely small percentage of Canadians to the US. You're not even going to be able to choose your own doctor???? In Canada we can choose whatever doctor we want. Where the fuck do you get these facts from? Fox?
WTF you talking about. You watch way too much American news. 0.00000001% of Canadians go to US for treatment. Keep watching Fox News. I dont know one Canadian that isnt happy with our health care. Maybe if the Insurance companies in your country weren't so corrupt Obama wouldnt of had to pass this law.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@stringlov Why would the people get the same health care as the people they elect? The people they elect have a team of doctors standing by 24/7, do you really think the voters will ever get that if mandatory health care is law?
This girl is just like her hero Glenn Beck she doesn't check facts, Majority of Canadians don't go to the US for surgery and 90% of Canadians are happy with their health care and wouldn't trade it for the American system. Both Canada and England are ranked higher than the US. And what about the 40 million plus Americans that don't have health insurance??
honey i am sorry but their is so much money that is flying around in the upper echelons of the senate that what the bill become was not what obama was actually trying to do and it was a very much mutated entity and well i do not agree that when people make a mistake they should fix them themselves you are effectively damning them completely but that's your opinion anyways i think that it would do a lot for the American people if it came through even in a completely mutilated state that it is in.
Newfoundland premier Danny Williams had heart procedures done in both Canada and the US. Sarah Palin has admitted her family has crossed the border to use the Canadian healthcare facilities.
LOL Just because my talking points are 'liberal' doesn't mean I don't own my own opinions.I just happen to believe them - are you finding that hard to understand? (actually they are socialist viewpoints - 'liberal' is an incorrect term to use for my views)
Please find the bit in the Constitution that says universal healthcare is unconstitutional. For that matter find me the bit that says you can't amend a bill?
Get real.
Obama's health policy is good for you, you just don't know it yet.
also the only thing coming out of your mouth is liberal talking points. Its almost like you don't have your own opinions. My biggest concern with this president is his lack of Respect for out United Stated Constitution. He passed Obamacare, its unconstitutional. He then added in death panels after the bill passed, last i checked he is not part of congress or house of senators, so he cannot amend a bill. Theres a reason of system is set up a certain way. its to keep people like obama in check.
so whats your thoughts on the government cellphones. My guess is you didnt know the obama regime has gone this far to increase your dependence on others tax dollars.
also places like cali, have gone bankrupt over their OWN welfare programs. You know, the ones that pay for invitro for crazy people like octomom. then the california governor goes and begs his buddy obama for a bailout. just keep drinking the obama kool-aid man.
@grandam88 ....we're going broke because we're supporting the whole union, lol. And at least states like Cali are honest and ask for help. Republican states, Bobby Jindal comes to mind, pump up their right-wing constituency base by screaming about the overreaching govt, yet he and other republican governors were the first in line with their hands out for that stimulus money. Hypocrites.
@flipgood89 dude, you have got to be THE STUPIDEST liberal i have ever spoke with. Generally i dont like to argue at all with liberals. But for you to say a state with a nearly 13% unemployment rate is somehow supporting the unites states is frankly idiotic. Last i checked checked north Dakota(republican governor) has the lowest rate, of course, according to you, its because of California.the only thing California breeds is movie stars and octuplets.
@grandam88 ...look at NY and Cali's population, our per capita, and the taxes we pay versus a state like North Dakota and then check back before you start this idiotic talk, genius. Funny how you would invoke talking points when you insert that famous conservative fabrication, "death panels"....lol, sheep.
@flipgood89 im not sure if you checked, but California has an average income of 61'021, North Dakota 45'585$.
California comes in @ 6th highest taxed state in country, North Dakota ranks 33rd highest in country. Im not sure if you live in Hollywood or Beverly hills but, California isnt nothing but a bunch of movie stars with millions of dollars. north Dakota per capita tax paid is 3'637$. California 5'028$. North Dakota has lower taxes, as well as lower income rate, by percentage taxes are lower
@flipgood89 in north dakota, so regardless income rate, taxes will be lower. Now all the numbers factored in doest even count gasoline tax, cigarette tax, diesel tax, etc. which is considerably higher in california considering they think even a cow fart makes it 2 degrees hotter outside. I really do like the new happy meal law though, now your kids cannot have a toy in their happy meal cause the parents are to shitty to tell their kids NO!
I'm trying to point out that a country with adequate health care and healthy, secure citizens is better equipped to claw its way out of economic depression than one who's citizens are sick and scared. It's a no-brainer.
It's not about government 'being my mommy' it's about government supporting all citizens at the same time, for the good of all.
only people in advantageous circumstances or upbringings talk that natural selection crap. Easy to say when you have a leg up. Let the people you look down on rear themselves in your environment and you born in theirs. Hope they would be more humane than you are.
Any policy that indiscriminately seeks to aid people is never based on rational thought. Because these people are only valued based on their existence, not their essence, it shows that the people initiating these policies don't actually care about those intend to help. No rational person would help someone they dont know, people who are rational help people that they care about. This proves that the purpose of healthcare is to eliminate guilt, not help the pity. No one wants to be pitied
@flipgood89 haha, obviously you don't know what im referencing or you wouldn't ask that question. Its Ayn Rand objectivism, its BASED on selfishness, the idea that humans should only seek to help themselves, and to help others who they deem valuable because they will help you in the end.
Its honesty, cuz i am not hiding how selfish I am, cuz there is no such thing as a selfless good deed, there are only ways to help relieve guilt from seeing people who you think are suffering, which is elitist
@Suses ...fuck ayn rand and her retarded bullshit. Yeah, im aware that she thinks selflessness is a sin and other inhmane bullshit, so what? Why do people exalt her and hide behind the rhetoric of such a stupid bitch? Listen, if you live in America, how can you expect people to go off to war to die for you (and if you live here you are assuming that expectation), yet when it comes to people making sure every American has healthcare by paying a few extra dollars, people whine?
@flipgood89 1) I dont expect anyone to do anything for me unless I pay them (ooo lala) 2) people sign up for the army, they need to take responsibility for their decisions 3) If we had less government this never would have happened in the first place
Why are you assuming so much about me, and why are you resorting to swearing to prove a point in a debate? Rand philosophy is so upsetting because it exposes the truth of "selfless" actions, and has people take responsibility for themselves
@Suses Ur missing the point. If citizens thought like you, nobody would ever be protected and nothing would ever get done. This is about morality, not "responsibility", but you can only see things through your selfish prism. They say a conservative is a liberal who has been robbed. Well a liberal is often a conservative that needs help. You can sit from your elitist perch and hate on those in need, but just know the only reason you walk free is because soliders u dont know "deemed u valuable"
@flipgood89 What is the use of morality if its insincere. I would rather be hated than pitied, pity is insulting. Pity is the belief that you are better off than someone else. I expect the needy to find their own way of thriving, just like everyone else. This also follows karma, people who YOU chose to help will likely help you in return, as long as you help them cuz of their values, not their wealth. All in all, people will always find something to complain about, no matter their current state
@Suses .Too bad, I pity you. Obviously you pity yourself, thats why you speak in riddles and utilize circular logic to give yourself rhetorical footing. You dont have to pity to have a big heart. Having a big and tolerant heart informs one to know that not everyone who experiences hard times is "lazy" or "lacks responsibility". Its usually because they werent afforded the access to resources that you were. But your hollow soul allows for you to become fluent in the selfish elitist language.
@flipgood89 Don't insult me. I view everyone as equals, and no one should receive special privileges. People should govern themselves
Stop putting words in my mouth, I never called anyone lazy. Stop making emotionally driven ad hominem attacks and try debating.
How am I speaking in circles?
Why should you chose to help someone just because they are in a piteous condition, it places no value on the individual in that condition. Help people who have good values, not everyone who is poor
@Suses ...health care to you is a special privilege? There is no need to insult you --- thats insulting in an of itself. Your last two sentences are a classic example of "speaking in circles". You keep throwing qualifiers against the wall in an attempt to rationalize. Now poor people lack good values. It cant be because they were hit with unfortunate circumstances that no person could cope with. To say that would be an attempt to humanize and you cant have that in your little world. Sad.
@flipgood89 You read what you wanted to read, and you keep making ad hominem attacks.
I didn't say poor people have no values, you are reacting emotionally again. I said don't help someone no matter what just because they are poor, i said help people who have values that you value. You can't tell me that you would value a poor skinhead as much as a poor doctor whos practice collapsed from an unjust malpractice suit
@Suses ...i know, I know. I'm "emotional"..."Im a victim". I am fluent in that cool, detached narcissistic speak. Obviously these convo speaks more to real life than it does you. As far as your example of extremes, I wouldnt make a value judgement. Notice how those in poverty tend to be the most dysfunctional (violent, racist, etc). Well easing those stresses and burdens would allow for more enlightenment. Look at helping as an investment in ourselves because it betters those around us.
@Suses ...i had a part 2 to my post, but to further flesh out when I see or meet people (especially those in dire circumstances), I dont see a book that is completed. I see a couple of chapters that have been written, but a story that has not yet been finished.
@flipgood89 To avoid confusion, either send a message or try to fit it all on one comment
Society cant be helped by any type of government, in the same way that there is no parenting style that will work for all kids
people should therefore take care of themselves. People should create their own rules through their own social contracts. Sure there will be conflicts, but in the end, it will be in everyones self interest to better themselves, because then people will be more willing to help them
@Suses ...so again we arrive at our original point (heh). You're cherry picking your tough talk on "individualism". You want everybody to "take care of themselves" in order to avoid your civic and humane responsibilities. Yet, you have no problem benefitting from the military and our police forces taking care of you and your interests. Which is it, tough girl? How long do you think you would last in a society that had no governance?
@flipgood89 People don't avoid attacking each other because of the law, people avoid it because they don't want to be attacked back. Laws just give a convenient excuse for jail. Laws don't prevent people from murdering each other, people do it anyway
I don't mind soldiers dieing for me because my taxes pay them to protect me, that is the social contract they volunteered for
Heres my question, what would you prefer, a society with no freewill and peace, or a society with freewill and war.
@Suses ...dont speak for others in order to rationalize your views and outlook. To speak of soldiers entering "contracts" is to dehumanize their sacrifice. Dismiss and disassociate the good from their acts. I feel sorry thats the route you chose, because its an unfulfilling one. Why cant we have a society that is both full of free will and peace? Why must it be one of the other. Thats your problem right there. We can accomplish great if we look at life thru the collective...
@flipgood89 Are you saying that these soldiers were forced into their situation, and joined out of ignorance. I have no respect for a soldier whos that dumb, I value individuals, no groups. Your attempts at guilt wont work on me.
I feel sorry for you, because you would rather have a society where people are forced to cooperate out of obligation. Collective group have caused most of the worlds suffering; Nazi, Taliban, Japan WW2, Jones Town, every riot, every war, all cuz people follow the group
@Suses ...no. How about that many soldiers join and fight simply because its the right thing to do? Can we wrap our mind around such a thing? And how nice that you equate my position with the Nazi's Taliban, Jonestown, etc. Yeah, no non-sequitur there, lol
@flipgood89 If i remember correctly, all wars are justified by dehumanizing individuals by labeling them as general groups. Nazi labeled all Jews as inferior, Japanese labeled all other Asians as inferiors, and whites labeled blacks as inferiors to create slaves. Groups Force people to work together, because the only way you can have cooperation is if you isolate patterns that don't fit, like how republicans label muslims as terrorists. Individuals don't see race, they see virtues. Am i wrong?
@Suses I didn't hear your rebuttal to my argument. I say collective doesn't create peace, it just creates control. I also say individualism does not guarantee eternal well being, but that its better than submitting to the will of others just so that no one is fighting.
Groups based on poor qualities such as race or region will never flourish. Groups should be formed by individuals finding commonalities, these groups aren't permanent, and they create multiple ties instead of isolation. Rebuttal?
@Suses ...no, you can marry a collectivist ideal with peace and freedom. It doesnt have to equal "control"....You're being paranoid and introducing elements in order to justify. Proponents of health care dont want control --- they just want fucking health care for everybody because thats what a moral society does. If you dont like it, you are free to speak against it (which you are doing now) and we want the option for you to get private insurance. Why the Nazi talk? Thats immature.
@flipgood89 How can you have cooperation without control if people aren't living together because they want to, but because they are obligated to. The only groups that work well together through obligation are machine parts, mainly cuz they have NO FREE WILL. No choice in the matter whatsoever. Groups oppress what they don't like or understand, and isolate people. All groups without commonalities have fought throughout history because they refuse to see the individuals, they stereotype and hate
@Suses you keep creating these theoretical zig zags and you expect me to keep following. Im not going to repeat myself over and over again. This debate is about health care. Not you following in lockstep with a goose step. You pay taxes. You're cooperating and under control. LOL. Your taxes go towards a lot of things that you dont agree with already. Fact. So why cant you stomach your taxes going towards something as moral as health care for children? Furthermore is Canada, Nazi Germany?
@flipgood89 You propose punishing the hard working to teach other people to stay in their economic classes, and not try to move up. These systems also benefit highschool dropouts, criminals, and people who want to live off of the work of others cuz its easier than taking responsibility for themselves. I already told you guilt wont work. Healthcare is a welfare system, government run
America is the closest to the society that I value. No other country provides more freedom and nonconformity.
@Suses hmm....so we are back to the "lazy" argument that you earlier denied making or implying. See how a little pressure reveals true impluses? Funny how you invoke punish when it comes to making sure all Americans have access to health care. Real interesting there....no, thats not elitist at all! Anyway, I dont give a shit about guilting you. You're either on the right side of humanity or you're are on the wrong side. You've chosen ur side. God, the earth, the souls of man frowns on u...
@flipgood89 I dont label people as lazy I let people create those labels for themselves.
All americans have access to healthcare, its called money, and planning out your life so you don't have a kid in middle school and ruin your whole future, people should take advantage of it.
Why should life be perfect for everyone, why not let people figure out how to thrive, why not let them suffer to learn, and why would the gov be the magical cure to suffering. religion is a group too
@Suses ...how convenient. so people should "suffer to learn". Thats your problem. You reduce people to their supposed worst element which is created by some hypothetical debasement of one's circumstances or choices. What about the people born into suffering? What about the people who are encompassed by suffering and have limited or no choices? You truly have a lot of nerve with your elitism. At least you're honest --- but only to a degree. I'll give you that.
@flipgood89 Suffering is HOW people learn, which is why people tend to only notice the bad of situations and not the good. Many philosophers believe that suffering is the key to happiness, because unless you can firmly define suffering, you can never have the concept of happiness. Oh, and some people are born with mental retardation and no legs, whats you cure for their suffering. There will always be suffering on either, society cant aim to fix it in general, people need to do it for themselves
@Suses ...for many "suffering" is not some abstract concept that is deployed in order to finger wag at somebody in some smarmy way. Its a way of life. If you experienced life outside of your superficial understanding of your reality, you would know this.
@flipgood89 Who is more likely to appreciate life, an african boy who lived an a poor village and just received the opportunity to go to school, or a rich kid who was given everything he wanted his whole life
@Suses ...why dont you just go ahead with your theory since this is simply a set up question that has little bearing on the topic at hand. Go ahead, humor me.
@flipgood89 The african kid who had to earn all he had would probably appreciate life way more than the spoiled rich kid. People value what they earn themselves, in the same way that the kids who bought their own cars cared more about the cars than the ones who were given their cars by their parents. People value things more when they appreciate the suffering that went into obtaining them. True?
@Suses ....so you're comparing providing health care to those who need it with a spoiled rich kid that gets everything they want? Am I hearing you correctly or am I seeing things? Im starting to think I am talking with somebody very young at this point.
@flipgood89 Stop, im married (blush). And yes I am, why is health somehow an exception to this rule.
Besides, if you love all these children equally, its just like not loving them at all. It makes you objectify the children as a cure for guilt instead of using your rational mind to think of who deserves help. I could accept wanting to give healthcare to certain kids who proved themselves, but to just give it away to everyone is taking the easy way to not feel bad for being blessed.
@Suses Im amazed that you're turned being pro health care into some sort position against those who deserve help, in your words. Pretty disturbing and very weird. You also speak of health care as if its some exclusive privilege that should be kept as such. Thats dictator talk and if I may add, pretty pathological. We're talking health here, Suses.... Anyway. I think this convo has run its course. This has certainly been interesting. Until next time...
@flipgood89 Life isn't fluffy bunnies and rainbows, its a hard and cruel existence that people need to get used to
Stop being motivated by emotion, rely on reason. Emotions distract, just ask any driver, athlete, politician, ect
Don't take my money to feed every low life and rapist that crawls in the gutters, let ME use MY money to donate to whatever charity I want, not what the government wants. Let people set up organizations to help people, not the government. Govs value votes, not lives
@Suses ...spare me your fluffy snow bunnies talk. I dont need life lessons from some overprivileged wingnut. Stop using extremes. Nobody is talking about rapists. You need to be able to articulate your positions without jumping to rapists, nazi germany, and other logic fallacies. Instead of whining about govt, whats the liberterian SOLUTION to health care? All i hear is no, and whining, and how you can come up with better. Yet I hear no actual suggestions. Govt is trying, your obstructing.
@flipgood89 lol, the government protects people from other people, not protect you from yourself, or FIX YOUR HEALTH ISSUES. the government is supposed to manage the roads and catch criminals, NOT force you to buy health insurance OR BE FINED. (does that sound fair?) which technically this is unconstitutional, which liberals seem to forget we have a Constitution. Its the goverments job to make kegislation based on the will of the people, NOT PAY FOR YOUR DAMN FOOD< RENT< CELLPHONE< ETC
@grandam88 ...lol, the reason why the health care bill is so weak is due to Obama's capitulation with right wingers and not fighting for the public option. And your theory about the govt only protecting us from other people has major holes in it, but I can still take it and run with it and say that the govt is protecting the people from a medical industry run amok with price gouging, over an essential need like health care. And why get all strawman on me and talk about paying a cell phone bill?
my advice to you is look @ the most successful states and see who the governors are. i can say off the top of my head the top 2 are Virginia and Texas, both run by republicans. google safelinkwirless. i guess now a CELLPHONE is a dire need for every poor American too. you know those damn cell phone companies are nothing but a bunch of price gouging crooks.
@grandam88 ...bro, the reason why states like virginia and texas are "successful" is because they are essentially welfare states. They suck off the tits of states like New York and Cali which subsidize them with the taxes we (they) pay.
@Suses ...in addition, conservatives like yourself are continually on the wrong side of "individual freedom" You dont want gays to marry. You dont want a woman to govern her own body when she becomes pregnant. You dont want muslims to build cultural centers...er, "mosques". Yet, health care for everyone is some threat to liberty and freedom, even though under our proposals one can still have the choice of private vs. public. Get real.
@flipgood89 Im a classic liberal, or an objectivist. When did I make a strictly conservative statement. My statements have all been in support of liberty. Libertarians tend to coincide with conservatives economically and liberals socially. God, you keep trying to label me into groups that I don't belong to, this is what happens with collectivists. Oh the jews are all corrupt thieves. Oh, Muslims ALL want to blow up America, Oh, you must be a conservative, so you must hate gays
@Suses you aligned yourself....you said on your channel "Im conservative"...and your attack on health care is the piece de resistance of conservatives
@flipgood89 My profile is pretty much all fake gibberish. and yes, economically i am conservative. When have i made an anti gay comment, and why even bring that up. Im a classic liberal, little to no government, and people run around and do what they want. It does not make promises it cant keep, like world peace and no suffering. Instead, it allows for the pursuit of happiness by whatever methods people deem necessary. Lets people learn from their mistakes, and lets natural selection occur
@Suses ...concerning your first statement, now you are almost completely divorcing the convo from its original argument. Teabaggers often equate health care with 20th century Germany or Japan. Its a cheap tactic. Its one thing to be selfish as you say....its another to be a complete lunatic. I would like to think better of you.
@flipgood89 Why should you have to think better of me, I could be on the other side of the world, or i could be a child rapist, you know nothing about me and you are forcing yourself to be nice. Since you follow the mentality of conformity, you should give in to my views and accept me as right to avoid conflict and live in peace, because thinking differently is BAD. I say you should act like an INDIVIDUAL and DISAGREE with me and even hate me if you want for not having qualities that you value.
@Suses ...so the better the circumstances are for those around us, increases the likelihood that there will be more functional citizens and better neighbors. Their happiness would decrease the likelihood that they will search for an opportunity to run in your home and kidnap, rape, and murder. It decreases the likelihood that they will form macabre thoughts. They will see more good. See, does that speak to your selfish instincts? The betterment of society is the betterment for you!
A white bitch sleeping in a fifty dollar bed is bitching about how "some people don't deserve it" Let me guess, the black and brown people in America who live in poverty and can't pay their taxes properly "don't deserve it" Why don't we put you into a ghetto and see how you grow into an friction burnt bitch who's clovered by dicks and cocaine and see if YOU can make money to pay taxes.
@MASHDOTCOM I really dont understand what that rant of yours has to do with anything but obviously if you actually knew what you were talking about before speaking you wouldnt sound like such a rude internet troll ^_^ My name is american miyuki because miyuki is my nickname- which comes from my OTHER youtube channel "miyuki rini" this is a side channel, about patriotism, which makes it american miyuki.
@MiyukiRini ... I don't think you understand what I just said when I was hitting off your account name. MIYUKI is Japanese and I said the people who speak that language would call you a dumb bitch for talking smack about free healthcare which they have.
Especially if your argument is "people who don't deserve healthcare", and you're not filthy rich enough to say that you're paying this entire healthcare. You're one of the benefitters, why the fuck are you complaining?
@MASHDOTCOM you seem to bed confused what country we are talking about. AMERICA, as in the United States of America, is the country this video is about. I dont recall ever mentioning Japans health care. obviously. and fyi? I do speak that language.
@MiyukiRini ok, I'm not gonna respond anymore. You are off the mark, I can seriously see why you're complaining about healthcare. There are three kinds of people in the US: The social democrats (who are the good people), the rich elite Republicans (the asshole manipulators), and retarded peope like you the Republic democrats who abosrb everything they're told.
Let me guess, you consider Obama's healthcare to be "socialist policy" If the answer is yes, don't even bother replying
@MASHDOTCOM see the funny thing is you only gave 3 groups, and im neither republican, democrat or brain washed and retarded, I happen to be a free-thinking independent. If I absorbed everything I was told I wouldnt be making videos about my beliefs now would I? thanks for being my comic relief for the day XD
@MiyukiRini Ironic, because the one cracking humor is you. Obama's policies being "socialist" and how the poor people don't deserve universal health care had been around forever. Since the white men said they didn't want to share their wealth with "those niggers" and drop em all in the ghettos. I don't think they're very original at all, you being white seems to fit into the whole buying into the media retard.
@MASHDOTCOM so much for you not replying anymore? and the last time I checked judging somone by the color of their skin IS being racist, I dont ever recall discussing race or judging peoples race. only racist I see here is you.
@teamamericaalltheway When did I whine about Obama's healthcare? Find one sentence where I was whining about his healthcare. Was I not under conspicuous delivery, talking about the owner of this video misinterpreting Obama's healthcare?
Oh, right, Americans tend to be semi-illitrate, and have difficult time with the simple task of READING. PS: I'm not a chink. If you're a chink, you're Chinese. Stupid racist and even fail at attempting to be a racist. Ur mother must be proud.
@MiyukiRini I mean, you support the pharmaceutical companies, private healthcare enterprises, but I don't think you're someone of such importance that you can pay for all your operations in life without government aids. And when I say importance, I meant you're not rich. Hence why I mentioned your bed which I normally wouldn't see millionaires sleep in.
@MASHDOTCOM next time try researching before trying to make yourself seem hardcore :) clearly you have no idea what your talking about. what does my bed have to do with anything? or my name? you totally missed the point of the entire video
@MiyukiRini Next time, try to absorb the context what others said before you telling me about your life WHICH I DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT. I don't care why you call yourself Miyuki or whatever, but try to not make retarded opininated videos if you're stupid. I don't need to do research, I listened to these words which I can't fucking believe is an argument against healthcare:
People who don't deserve healthcare
Try to comprehend the weight of your words, please bitch and then talk back.
@MASHDOTCOM You "dont give a fuck" but you seem awfully concerned about how much my bed is worth and my name? and what I decide to say and do with my rights as an american citizen? oh how terribly kind of you troll :) get a life ^_^
I'm sure the Japanese with their "socialized" healthcare would approve of an ugly bitch like you using their language to call yourself "American Miyuki". People who DON'T DESERVE IT? I find it shocking that when Obama's healthcare is largely funded by increasing debt and the bourgeoise of America, I wonder how your 15 dollars of tax money makes you "deserve it". You fucking impoverished redneck dumbass bitch.
I hope you get cancer in your fucking face if healthcare in us privatized again.
These are problems we need to address. private docs (not myself too much money) who are good and natural medicine. These are good ideas and with NHS in the US we may lose this. I think everyone should have health ins. So we should nationalize the Health Ins. companies. It would have a sliding scale depending on income. So we would have taxes for Income, Social Sec, Medicaid, and Health ins. I know this wil cost but the US will be better off. Just some ideas.
Private health ins is better but the prob is most people can't afford it. Is having public health ins better than having none at all? There are millions of people in the US who would be happy to see any doctor they would not make demands. The costs are too high. Rich people will always get care so we need NHS for poor people.
@tmmy777 there not happy with health care ,usa not happy with health care now. whats the solution?people die in usa for no health care.whats the solution????
Universal healthcare is another way for big government to dip their hands into more money as all. I know that our health care costs are extreme and insurance companies are a scam, but what government could do is set the laws for these companies instead of taking over health care. Government is the biggest crook of them all. Anyone ever wonder how much of the money would actually even go to healthcare before campaigns, taxes, and sticky fingers get their cuts before it goes to the people?
You know what the Hypocrisy is? I am required by law to buy a private companies insurance when I want to drive my car. Does that sound wrong?? no because people cannot be trusted when they drive. Its the same with health care. People think they can walk around, eat like shit, become fat, smoke and drink and think they dont need to buy health insurance. Well you are guaranteed to get sick. Now we will make you buy health insurance.
THANKS TO HALF OF YOU WHO VOTED FOR REPUBLICANS BECAUSE THEY SAID THEY DIDN'T WANT TO GO ALONG WITH THE HEALTH REFORM. IN THE STATE OF TEXAS RICK PERRY ALREADY RECEIVED MONEY FOR THIS HEALTH REFORM BUT HE WAS THE MAIN FUCKING ONE OFFING THE PROGRAM. SO ONCE AGAIN THE REPUBLICANS SHOWED THAT MONEY TALKS BULLSHIT WALKS AND YOU DUMMIES WENT FOR THE OKIE DOKE!!
The age thing is actually reversed, you get a doctor quicker if you are older. If you are younger then it takes a little longer. And the whole thing about cancer patients, I think i would take the shot of waiting 6months then not seeing a doctor all together because i cant pay for the $200,000 kemo bill...just saying...
LMFAO, WTF is a doctor going to do to cure your cold? A Dr. can do NOTHING to cure a cold because there is no cure for it. That is a proven FACT! Also, what mistakes and bad habits are you talking about in the video? The current financial situation is NO excuse to have people going without health-care. What would be wrong with having a system where everyone is covered, the gov pays the expenses, and doctors salaries are kept at current levels?
watch The Myths and Truths about Canadian healthcare by thomhartmann if you really want to get a comprehensive rundown of the canadian system. not some teenage girl
I currently have a doctors appointment every week for an hour (No, its not a "serious" or otherwise close to life threating illness) Because thats what I need :-) (Took me 1 day to get an appointment for a blood sample, and I called late in the afternoon)
So stop being ignorant, travel the world and see how its actually like beyond your borders, besides canada. You will most likely be supprised.
However what I do believe is that maybe you should stop taking poor examples of socialism and paint a scary picture of how it never works. Because you suck at it, doesn't mean it doesn't work.
Do I agree in Obamas Healthplan? Probably not, you cannot just push down socialist colors and hope it will succeed. Its hard work and maybe you're just not up for the task.
Example of healthcare quality: Been to the emergency room 2 times in the past 3 months, was a wait time of approximately 20 minutes.
Of course 30.000 dollars is uneducated work. If you're educated for free at a university you will most likely not earn less than 70.000 if you study a langauge or philosophy or something. A Computer Scientist will most likely have a starting salary of 90'ish thousand dollars.
Do I believe socialism is the answer to everything? No! Do I believe Communism is more than an utopia that cannot actually work? No.
Anyway, I live in a socialist country(denmark) with "free" healthcare(among other things). I pay like 42% in taxes as a baseline, meaning if I earn more than 100.000 dollars, it would probably look alot more like 60%. Meaning I would get 40.000 dollars. Now do we all earn 100.000 dollars a year? No. but you won't find jobs that earn you less than 30.000, 17400 after taxes, pension and the likes. That means that a poor person will have 1450 dollars pr. month after taxes.
I live in Canada and i've never had a problem with it. Usa, you need in insurance, if you dont have it, you are gonna lose lots of money, but, if you dont qualify for insurance in usa, which is very hard to do, you will definitely lose money. watch the sicko movie and you will see.
7 months ago 8 A question to those Americans who oppose free healthcare for all.
How would you feel if your child developed a degenerative illness that could be controlled with drugs but your insurance refused to pay and you had to watch them slowly die through neglect of care.
@xianapple The Obama system will eliminate ALL insurance companies in a very short time... creating FULL ON socialist healthcare.
Folks, your decisions for care will be made by government geeks that WILL look at your political afiliations when making their decisions. ... MARK MY WORDS.
@loggerbuck Oh good god you have no idea of what socialism is do you? Did you know that progressive taxation is a capitalist concept. Adam Smith the grand daddy of Capitalism made a passionate argument in the Wealth of Nations that the Rich must be taxed at a higher % rate.
As for Goverment determining my care - I live in Canada and the only the one who determines my care is me and my Dr. It is a lie and nonesense that there is a government agency that I have to petition to receive care..
@xianapple Progressive income tax in the U.S. was championed by the very very richest Americans. The purpose was to create a glass sealing so they could not be challenged by entrepeneurs with new technologies who did well. NOT a capitalist vs socialist issue.
YOU MEAN: your healthcare is between you and your doctor WHENEVER you can get in to see him or her.
Socialism is people who don't work taking money from those who do. Appears to work great... until the producers are broke.
I am not talking about local policy in the US. The Rich should give up a greater % of their income - The idea and notion of this is capitalist in Nature and not necessarly socialist. Adam Smith also argued for the necissity of certain programs to remiain in public conrol.
As for care you, have implied over and over again that a person who lives under universal health care such as me has their care rationed by government officuals in that I have an alloted amount of care I am permited to use
.....so here is my challenge to you. I get cancer here in Canada and only alloted 2 rations of chemo. I want another ration, so tell me what government agency that I have to plead with to get another ration?
As for Dr's - actually I can see my Dr within 1hr on most occasions . Think I am lying? call him 604-936-9874. Before posting such comment you should realize Canada has more family Dr's per capita than the US.
Also note that I as a Canadian live longer than you as an American
@xianapple I have known a number of young moms from Canada who LOVED the health care. But snottty nosed kids and seeing a GP is not the same as needing an MRI or Surgery. GPs don't perform heart surgery.... even in Canada.
Knew a Canadian Doc who immigrated to the U.S.. She told the Sec of Health (?) what at piece of shit the Canadian National EMS dispatch system was to his face..
while ambulance transporting him as a pt to a cardiac center!
So this is why Canadians out live Americans is because we have horrendous care? This why Canadians are less likely to be the victim of a medical errors and why we are less likely to die of them? This is why Canadian have a higher rated health care system? The US care is so great and yet Americans leave in hordes for care overseas.
As for the Dr's that move to the US from Canada - What the political right in the U.S. won't tell you is that more US dr's move to Canada than the US.
@xianapple It is kind of like the whole HORRIBLE NEONATE CARE for America.
In fact the neonate care in the U.S. is probably the best in the world BY FAR. The problem is that so many Americans are strung out on CRACK AND METH and not getting prenatal care. That illegals run across the border without prenatal care. The number of preterm deliveries and multiple other problems CREATES a higher death rate for neonates... IN SPITE OF superior care.
@loggerbuck My point is that you are trying portray anyone who has or supports universal health as a Socialist (Not True) You are also stating my health care is rationed in that I can only get a certain amount of care per year (Not True). You are also insinuating my health care is vastly inadequate again not true as Canadians enjoy amongst the longest life spans in the world.
I have no issue with you not liking our health care, but to base it on lies and insinuate I have very little rights .
@loggerbuck As for your DR. friend who commented on the Canadian National EMS dispatch. Either you are lying through your teeth (again) or your friend never lived and/or practiced medicine in Canada as there is no such thing as the"Canadian National EMS..." No such agency exists even under a different name.
@loggerbuck In Canada there is no such thing as a National EMS Dispatch system under any name at all. In fact the federal government has no role at all in EMS dispatch. Depending on the Province, it falls under either the region, city, and the province itself. For your friend to say that EMS dispatch is nationalized highlights that your friend never practiced medicine one day in Canada.
@iphoneguy2012 Only thing that will make a difference. We are going to become Socialist because too many now are conditioned to not work.. to get government stuff.
Americans no longer value freedom... they just want their stufff.
Toj01978 Why would you want the same people that started those wars to heal your injury... in your case a broken mind. Socialism is enslavement... no thanks, I am not paying for something I don't need.
Socialism is enslavement?? Who the fuck is talking about Socialism?? We are talking about healthcare. I live in a country with national healthcare and guess what?? I can vote and have every single right that you do. Who is being enslaved here?? Also, you don't need healthcare so you shouldn't have to pay for it?? Your 20 years old and barely out of high school. Go thank your childless neighbors for paying for something they did not need or want. To pay for your public education.
we spend 700 billion a year on the military (triple the cost of any other nation) and 100 billion to shoot 3-6 guys and gals in a tiny metal tube into space for god knows what reasons, of course were strapped for cash now we want to spend some money to actually do some good and everyone is like "whoa its not in our budget"
everytime an or Canadian English person has sugary they go to america LOL LOL LOL...

You know its not only poor people who cant get insured. But i guess as you say, its all there mistake so fuck them. Just kick them to the curb and let them die. So much for being the "United" States.
BigJohnny858 9 months ago
In Canada everybody has health care yet we pay 55% less per person than Americans. Obama isnt the problem, These corrupt Insurance Companies are the problem. Too many fucking ignorant Americans. You're worried about poor people get insurance while the people at the top fuck you in the ass. I dont know about you but I dont any sick people walking around. I dont care if they're poor i dont want them passing diseases around.
Mike11824 9 months ago
So if you had Cancer previously with old system you wont be able to get insurance? But with Obama Care you can get insurance in 6 months. "I dont know about you guys Im not of anybody who has Cancer is in the posion to wait 6 months for there insurance to kick what are they supposed to do without Chemo" HMMMMMM so how in the fuck are they going to get Chemo with the old system if they cant get insurance?? I think id rather wait 6 month for it than not be able to have it at all.
Mike11824 9 months ago
What other Countries arent happy with it???? Everyone comes over to America for healthcare??? Are you fucking stupid? An extremely small percentage of Canadians to the US. You're not even going to be able to choose your own doctor???? In Canada we can choose whatever doctor we want. Where the fuck do you get these facts from? Fox?
Mike11824 9 months ago
WTF you talking about. You watch way too much American news. 0.00000001% of Canadians go to US for treatment. Keep watching Fox News. I dont know one Canadian that isnt happy with our health care. This girl is just like her hero Glenn Beck she doesn't check facts, Majority of Canadians don't go to the US for surgery and 90% of Canadians are happy with their health care and wouldn't trade it for the American system. Both Canada and England are ranked higher than the US. And what about the 40 million plus Americans that don't have health insurance??
jab07 11 months ago 6
honey i am sorry but their is so much money that is flying around in the upper echelons of the senate that what the bill become was not what obama was actually trying to do and it was a very much mutated entity and well i do not agree that when people make a mistake they should fix them themselves you are effectively damning them completely but that's your opinion anyways i think that it would do a lot for the American people if it came through even in a completely mutilated state that it is in.

Get real.
Obama's health policy is good for you, you just don't know it yet.
seewhyaudio 1 year ago
also the only thing coming out of your mouth is liberal talking points. Theres a reason of system is set up a certain way. its to keep people like obama in check.
grandam88 1 year ago
so whats your thoughts on the government cellphones. My guess is you didnt know the obama regime has gone this far to increase your dependence on others tax dollars.
also places like cali, have gone bankrupt over their OWN welfare programs. You know, the ones that pay for invitro for crazy people like octomom. then the california governor goes and begs his buddy obama for a bailout. just keep drinking the obama kool-aid man.
grandam88 1 year ago
@grandam88 ....we're going broke because we're supporting the whole union, lol. And at least states like Cali are honest and ask for help. Republican states, Bobby Jindal comes to mind, pump up their right-wing constituency base by screaming about the overreaching govt, yet he and other republican governors were the first in line with their hands out for that stimulus money. Hypocrites.
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 dude, you have got to be THE STUPIDEST liberal i have ever spoke with. Generally i dont like to argue at all with liberals. But for you to say a state with a nearly 13% unemployment rate is somehow supporting the unites states is frankly idiotic. Last i checked checked north Dakota(republican governor) has the lowest rate, of course, according to you, its because of California.the only thing California breeds is movie stars and octuplets.
grandam88 1 year ago
@grandam88 ...look at NY and Cali's population, our per capita, and the taxes we pay versus a state like North Dakota and then check back before you start this idiotic talk, genius. Funny how you would invoke talking points when you insert that famous conservative fabrication, "death panels"....lol, sheep.
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 im not sure if you checked, but California has an average income of 61'021, North Dakota 45'585$.
California comes in @ 6th highest taxed state in country, North Dakota ranks 33rd highest in country. Im not sure if you live in Hollywood or Beverly hills but, California isnt nothing but a bunch of movie stars with millions of dollars. north Dakota per capita tax paid is 3'637$. California 5'028$. North Dakota has lower taxes, as well as lower income rate, by percentage taxes are lower
grandam88 1 year ago
@flipgood89 in north dakota, so regardless income rate, taxes will be lower. Now all the numbers factored in doest even count gasoline tax, cigarette tax, diesel tax, etc. which is considerably higher in california considering they think even a cow fart makes it 2 degrees hotter outside. I really do like the new happy meal law though, now your kids cannot have a toy in their happy meal cause the parents are to shitty to tell their kids NO!
grandam88 1 year ago
@ grandam88
What is your point?
I'm trying to point out that a country with adequate health care and healthy, secure citizens is better equipped to claw its way out of economic depression than one who's citizens are sick and scared. It's a no-brainer.
It's not about government 'being my mommy' it's about government supporting all citizens at the same time, for the good of all.
What are YOU trying to say? That this is wrong?
Why? Explain please.

To all Americans who say Obama's healthcare plan is a disaster HEADS UP!
It will MAKE more money than it costs!
USA: 1 in 7 approx can't work normally due to ill health and/or sickness.
UK: 1 in 12.
USA: Private health care thru insurance that is paid for by the work force.
UK: National Health Service funded by general taxation.
USA: a system that only benefits those already employed or rich.
UK: a system that benefits everyone.
Do the math. MAKE IT WORK and support Obama's plan.

look at the foundation from which the fascist collectivism sprang...hate (japan, germany). Where is the hate in health care? enlighten me.
flipgood89 1 year ago
Any policy that indiscriminately seeks to aid people is never based on rational thought. Because these people are only valued based on their existence, not their essence, it shows that the people initiating these policies don't actually care about those intend to help. No rational person would help someone they dont know, people who are rational help people that they care about. This proves that the purpose of healthcare is to eliminate guilt, not help the pity. No one wants to be pitied
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses ...so then soldiers shouldnt go off to war to die for you then because you're not doing the same? Right? How selfish you are.
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 haha, obviously you don't know what im referencing or you wouldn't ask that question. Its Ayn Rand objectivism, its BASED on selfishness, the idea that humans should only seek to help themselves, and to help others who they deem valuable because they will help you in the end.
Its honesty, cuz i am not hiding how selfish I am, cuz there is no such thing as a selfless good deed, there are only ways to help relieve guilt from seeing people who you think are suffering, which is elitist
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses ...fuck ayn rand and her retarded bullshit. Yeah, im aware that she thinks selflessness is a sin and other inhmane bullshit, so what? Why do people exalt her and hide behind the rhetoric of such a stupid bitch? Listen, if you live in America, how can you expect people to go off to war to die for you (and if you live here you are assuming that expectation), yet when it comes to people making sure every American has healthcare by paying a few extra dollars, people whine?
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 1) I dont expect anyone to do anything for me unless I pay them (ooo lala) 2) people sign up for the army, they need to take responsibility for their decisions 3) If we had less government this never would have happened in the first place
Why are you assuming so much about me, and why are you resorting to swearing to prove a point in a debate? Rand philosophy is so upsetting because it exposes the truth of "selfless" actions, and has people take responsibility for themselves
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses Ur missing the point. If citizens thought like you, nobody would ever be protected and nothing would ever get done. This is about morality, not "responsibility", but you can only see things through your selfish prism. They say a conservative is a liberal who has been robbed. Well a liberal is often a conservative that needs help. You can sit from your elitist perch and hate on those in need, but just know the only reason you walk free is because soliders u dont know "deemed u valuable"
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 What is the use of morality if its insincere. I would rather be hated than pitied, pity is insulting. Pity is the belief that you are better off than someone else. I expect the needy to find their own way of thriving, just like everyone else. This also follows karma, people who YOU chose to help will likely help you in return, as long as you help them cuz of their values, not their wealth. All in all, people will always find something to complain about, no matter their current state
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses .Too bad, I pity you. Obviously you pity yourself, thats why you speak in riddles and utilize circular logic to give yourself rhetorical footing. You dont have to pity to have a big heart. Having a big and tolerant heart informs one to know that not everyone who experiences hard times is "lazy" or "lacks responsibility". Its usually because they werent afforded the access to resources that you were. But your hollow soul allows for you to become fluent in the selfish elitist language.
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 Don't insult me. I view everyone as equals, and no one should receive special privileges. People should govern themselves
Stop putting words in my mouth, I never called anyone lazy. Stop making emotionally driven ad hominem attacks and try debating.
How am I speaking in circles?
Why should you chose to help someone just because they are in a piteous condition, it places no value on the individual in that condition. Help people who have good values, not everyone who is poor
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses ...health care to you is a special privilege? There is no need to insult you --- thats insulting in an of itself. Your last two sentences are a classic example of "speaking in circles". You keep throwing qualifiers against the wall in an attempt to rationalize. Now poor people lack good values. It cant be because they were hit with unfortunate circumstances that no person could cope with. To say that would be an attempt to humanize and you cant have that in your little world. Sad.
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 You read what you wanted to read, and you keep making ad hominem attacks.
I didn't say poor people have no values, you are reacting emotionally again. I said don't help someone no matter what just because they are poor, i said help people who have values that you value. You can't tell me that you would value a poor skinhead as much as a poor doctor whos practice collapsed from an unjust malpractice suit
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses ...i know, I know. I'm "emotional"..."Im a victim". I am fluent in that cool, detached narcissistic speak. Obviously these convo speaks more to real life than it does you. As far as your example of extremes, I wouldnt make a value judgement. Notice how those in poverty tend to be the most dysfunctional (violent, racist, etc). Well easing those stresses and burdens would allow for more enlightenment. Look at helping as an investment in ourselves because it betters those around us.
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 You didn't answer my question, which do you value more?
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses ...i had a part 2 to my post, but to further flesh out when I see or meet people (especially those in dire circumstances), I dont see a book that is completed. I see a couple of chapters that have been written, but a story that has not yet been finished.
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 To avoid confusion, either send a message or try to fit it all on one comment
Society cant be helped by any type of government, in the same way that there is no parenting style that will work for all kids
people should therefore take care of themselves. People should create their own rules through their own social contracts. Sure there will be conflicts, but in the end, it will be in everyones self interest to better themselves, because then people will be more willing to help them
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses ...so again we arrive at our original point (heh). You're cherry picking your tough talk on "individualism". You want everybody to "take care of themselves" in order to avoid your civic and humane responsibilities. Yet, you have no problem benefitting from the military and our police forces taking care of you and your interests. Which is it, tough girl? How long do you think you would last in a society that had no governance?
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 People don't avoid attacking each other because of the law, people avoid it because they don't want to be attacked back. Laws just give a convenient excuse for jail. Laws don't prevent people from murdering each other, people do it anyway
I don't mind soldiers dieing for me because my taxes pay them to protect me, that is the social contract they volunteered for
Heres my question, what would you prefer, a society with no freewill and peace, or a society with freewill and war.
Suses 1 year ago

Suses 1 year ago
@Suses ...no. How about that many soldiers join and fight simply because its the right thing to do? Can we wrap our mind around such a thing? And how nice that you equate my position with the Nazi's Taliban, Jonestown, etc. Yeah, no non-sequitur there, lol
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 If i remember correctly, all wars are justified by dehumanizing individuals by labeling them as general groups. Nazi labeled all Jews as inferior, Japanese labeled all other Asians as inferiors, and whites labeled blacks as inferiors to create slaves. Groups Force people to work together, because the only way you can have cooperation is if you isolate patterns that don't fit, like how republicans label muslims as terrorists. Individuals don't see race, they see virtues. Am i wrong?
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses I didn't hear your rebuttal to my argument. I say collective doesn't create peace, it just creates control. I also say individualism does not guarantee eternal well being, but that its better than submitting to the will of others just so that no one is fighting.
Groups based on poor qualities such as race or region will never flourish. Groups should be formed by individuals finding commonalities, these groups aren't permanent, and they create multiple ties instead of isolation. Rebuttal?
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses ...no, you can marry a collectivist ideal with peace and freedom. It doesnt have to equal "control"....You're being paranoid and introducing elements in order to justify. Proponents of health care dont want control --- they just want fucking health care for everybody because thats what a moral society does. If you dont like it, you are free to speak against it (which you are doing now) and we want the option for you to get private insurance. Why the Nazi talk? Thats immature.
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 How can you have cooperation without control if people aren't living together because they want to, but because they are obligated to. The only groups that work well together through obligation are machine parts, mainly cuz they have NO FREE WILL. No choice in the matter whatsoever. Groups oppress what they don't like or understand, and isolate people. All groups without commonalities have fought throughout history because they refuse to see the individuals, they stereotype and hate
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses you keep creating these theoretical zig zags and you expect me to keep following. Im not going to repeat myself over and over again. This debate is about health care. Not you following in lockstep with a goose step. You pay taxes. You're cooperating and under control. LOL. Your taxes go towards a lot of things that you dont agree with already. Fact. So why cant you stomach your taxes going towards something as moral as health care for children? Furthermore is Canada, Nazi Germany?
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 You propose punishing the hard working to teach other people to stay in their economic classes, and not try to move up. These systems also benefit highschool dropouts, criminals, and people who want to live off of the work of others cuz its easier than taking responsibility for themselves. I already told you guilt wont work. Healthcare is a welfare system, government run
America is the closest to the society that I value. No other country provides more freedom and nonconformity.
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses hmm....so we are back to the "lazy" argument that you earlier denied making or implying. See how a little pressure reveals true impluses? Funny how you invoke punish when it comes to making sure all Americans have access to health care. Real interesting there....no, thats not elitist at all! Anyway, I dont give a shit about guilting you. You're either on the right side of humanity or you're are on the wrong side. You've chosen ur side. God, the earth, the souls of man frowns on u...
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 I dont label people as lazy I let people create those labels for themselves.
All americans have access to healthcare, its called money, and planning out your life so you don't have a kid in middle school and ruin your whole future, people should take advantage of it.
Why should life be perfect for everyone, why not let people figure out how to thrive, why not let them suffer to learn, and why would the gov be the magical cure to suffering. religion is a group too
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses ...how convenient. so people should "suffer to learn". Thats your problem. You reduce people to their supposed worst element which is created by some hypothetical debasement of one's circumstances or choices. What about the people born into suffering? What about the people who are encompassed by suffering and have limited or no choices? You truly have a lot of nerve with your elitism. At least you're honest --- but only to a degree. I'll give you that.
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 Suffering is HOW people learn, which is why people tend to only notice the bad of situations and not the good. Many philosophers believe that suffering is the key to happiness, because unless you can firmly define suffering, you can never have the concept of happiness. Oh, and some people are born with mental retardation and no legs, whats you cure for their suffering. There will always be suffering on either, society cant aim to fix it in general, people need to do it for themselves
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses ...for many "suffering" is not some abstract concept that is deployed in order to finger wag at somebody in some smarmy way. Its a way of life. If you experienced life outside of your superficial understanding of your reality, you would know this.
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 Who is more likely to appreciate life, an african boy who lived an a poor village and just received the opportunity to go to school, or a rich kid who was given everything he wanted his whole life
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses ...where are you going with your question?
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 Answer it first, then i'll tell you, cuz i want to hear your theory first and then i will say mine
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses ...why dont you just go ahead with your theory since this is simply a set up question that has little bearing on the topic at hand. Go ahead, humor me.
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 The african kid who had to earn all he had would probably appreciate life way more than the spoiled rich kid. People value what they earn themselves, in the same way that the kids who bought their own cars cared more about the cars than the ones who were given their cars by their parents. People value things more when they appreciate the suffering that went into obtaining them. True?
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses ....so you're comparing providing health care to those who need it with a spoiled rich kid that gets everything they want? Am I hearing you correctly or am I seeing things? Im starting to think I am talking with somebody very young at this point.
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 Stop, im married (blush). And yes I am, why is health somehow an exception to this rule.
Besides, if you love all these children equally, its just like not loving them at all. It makes you objectify the children as a cure for guilt instead of using your rational mind to think of who deserves help. I could accept wanting to give healthcare to certain kids who proved themselves, but to just give it away to everyone is taking the easy way to not feel bad for being blessed.
Suses 1 year ago

Suses 1 year ago
@Suses ...spare me your fluffy snow bunnies talk. I dont need life lessons from some overprivileged wingnut. Stop using extremes. Nobody is talking about rapists. You need to be able to articulate your positions without jumping to rapists, nazi germany, and other logic fallacies. Instead of whining about govt, whats the liberterian SOLUTION to health care? All i hear is no, and whining, and how you can come up with better. Yet I hear no actual suggestions. Govt is trying, your obstructing.
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 The magical solution is to let people decide for themselves where they want their money to go
Suses 1 year ago
@flipgood89 lol, the government protects people from other people, not protect you from yourself, or FIX YOUR HEALTH ISSUES. the government is supposed to manage the roads and catch criminals, NOT force you to buy health insurance OR BE FINED. (does that sound fair?) which technically this is unconstitutional, which liberals seem to forget we have a Constitution. Its the goverments job to make kegislation based on the will of the people, NOT PAY FOR YOUR DAMN FOOD< RENT< CELLPHONE< ETC
grandam88 1 year ago
@grandam88 ...lol, the reason why the health care bill is so weak is due to Obama's capitulation with right wingers and not fighting for the public option. And your theory about the govt only protecting us from other people has major holes in it, but I can still take it and run with it and say that the govt is protecting the people from a medical industry run amok with price gouging, over an essential need like health care. And why get all strawman on me and talk about paying a cell phone bill?
flipgood89 1 year ago
my advice to you is look @ the most successful states and see who the governors are. i can say off the top of my head the top 2 are Virginia and Texas, both run by republicans. google safelinkwirless. i guess now a CELLPHONE is a dire need for every poor American too. you know those damn cell phone companies are nothing but a bunch of price gouging crooks.
grandam88 1 year ago
@grandam88 ...bro, the reason why states like virginia and texas are "successful" is because they are essentially welfare states. They suck off the tits of states like New York and Cali which subsidize them with the taxes we (they) pay.
flipgood89 1 year ago
@grandam88 ....furthermore, I didnt hear all that will of the people shit when bush was wiping his ass with the constitution for 8 years.
flipgood89 1 year ago
@Suses ...in addition, conservatives like yourself are continually on the wrong side of "individual freedom" You dont want gays to marry. You dont want a woman to govern her own body when she becomes pregnant. You dont want muslims to build cultural centers...er, "mosques". Yet, health care for everyone is some threat to liberty and freedom, even though under our proposals one can still have the choice of private vs. public. Get real.
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 Im a classic liberal, or an objectivist. When did I make a strictly conservative statement. My statements have all been in support of liberty. Libertarians tend to coincide with conservatives economically and liberals socially. God, you keep trying to label me into groups that I don't belong to, this is what happens with collectivists. Oh the jews are all corrupt thieves. Oh, Muslims ALL want to blow up America, Oh, you must be a conservative, so you must hate gays
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses you aligned yourself....you said on your channel "Im conservative"...and your attack on health care is the piece de resistance of conservatives
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 My profile is pretty much all fake gibberish. and yes, economically i am conservative. When have i made an anti gay comment, and why even bring that up. Im a classic liberal, little to no government, and people run around and do what they want. It does not make promises it cant keep, like world peace and no suffering. Instead, it allows for the pursuit of happiness by whatever methods people deem necessary. Lets people learn from their mistakes, and lets natural selection occur
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses ...concerning your first statement, now you are almost completely divorcing the convo from its original argument. Teabaggers often equate health care with 20th century Germany or Japan. Its a cheap tactic. Its one thing to be selfish as you say....its another to be a complete lunatic. I would like to think better of you.
flipgood89 1 year ago
@flipgood89 Why should you have to think better of me, I could be on the other side of the world, or i could be a child rapist, you know nothing about me and you are forcing yourself to be nice. Since you follow the mentality of conformity, you should give in to my views and accept me as right to avoid conflict and live in peace, because thinking differently is BAD. I say you should act like an INDIVIDUAL and DISAGREE with me and even hate me if you want for not having qualities that you value.
Suses 1 year ago
@Suses ...so the better the circumstances are for those around us, increases the likelihood that there will be more functional citizens and better neighbors. Their happiness would decrease the likelihood that they will search for an opportunity to run in your home and kidnap, rape, and murder. It decreases the likelihood that they will form macabre thoughts. They will see more good. See, does that speak to your selfish instincts? The betterment of society is the betterment for you!

I don't need to do research, I listened to these words which I can't fucking believe is an argument against healthcare:

Try to comprehend the weight of your words, please bitch and then talk back.

206streetfilms 1 year ago
You know what the Hypocrisy is? I am required by law to buy a private companies insurance when I want to drive my car. Does that sound wrong?? no because people cannot be trusted when they drive. Its the same with health care. People think they can walk around, eat like shit, become fat, smoke and drink and think they dont need to buy health insurance. Well you are guaranteed to get sick. Now we will make you buy health insurance.

ZoneSinitive 1 year ago
Of course 30.000 dollars is uneducated work. If you're educated for free at a university you will most likely not earn less than 70.000 if you study a langauge or philosophy or something. A Computer Scientist will most likely have a starting salary of 90'ish thousand dollars.
Do I believe socialism is the answer to everything? No! Do I believe Communism is more than an utopia that cannot actually work? No.
ZoneSinitive 1 year ago
Anyway, I live in a socialist country(denmark) with "free" healthcare(among other things). I pay like 42% in taxes as a baseline, meaning if I earn more than 100.000 dollars, it would probably look alot more like 60%. Meaning I would get 40.000 dollars. Now do we all earn 100.000 dollars a year? No. but you won't find jobs that earn you less than 30.000, 17400 after taxes, pension and the likes. That means that a poor person will have 1450 dollars pr. month after taxes.
ZoneSinitive 1 year ago
I live in Canada and i've never had a problem with it. Usa, you need in insurance, if you dont have it, you are gonna lose lots of money, but, if you dont qualify for insurance in usa, which is very hard to do, you will definitely lose money. watch the sicko movie and you will see.

@xianapple The Obama system will eliminate ALL insurance companies in a very short time... creating FULL ON socialist healthcare.
Folks, your decisions for care will be made by government geeks that WILL look at your political afiliations when making their decisions. ... MARK MY WORDS.
loggerbuck 1 year ago
@loggerbuck Oh good god you have no idea of what socialism is do you? Did you know that progressive taxation is a capitalist concept. Adam Smith the grand daddy of Capitalism made a passionate argument in the Wealth of Nations that the Rich must be taxed at a higher % rate.
As for Goverment determining my care - I live in Canada and the only the one who determines my care is me and my Dr. It is a lie and nonesense that there is a government agency that I have to petition to receive care..
xianapple 1 year ago
@xianapple Progressive income tax in the U.S. was championed by the very very richest Americans. The purpose was to create a glass sealing so they could not be challenged by entrepeneurs with new technologies who did well. NOT a capitalist vs socialist issue.
YOU MEAN: your healthcare is between you and your doctor WHENEVER you can get in to see him or her.
Socialism is people who don't work taking money from those who do. Appears to work great... until the producers are broke.
loggerbuck 1 year ago
I am not talking about local policy in the US. The Rich should give up a greater % of their income - The idea and notion of this is capitalist in Nature and not necessarly socialist. Adam Smith also argued for the necissity of certain programs to remiain in public conrol.
As for care you, have implied over and over again that a person who lives under universal health care such as me has their care rationed by government officuals in that I have an alloted amount of care I am permited to use
xianapple 1 year ago
.....so here is my challenge to you.
Also note that I as a Canadian live longer than you as an American
xianapple 1 year ago
@xianapple I have known a number of young moms from Canada who LOVED the health care. But snottty nosed kids and seeing a GP is not the same as needing an MRI or Surgery. GPs don't perform heart surgery.... even in Canada.
Knew a Canadian Doc who immigrated to the U.S.. She told the Sec of Health (?) what at piece of shit the Canadian National EMS dispatch system was to his face..
while ambulance transporting him as a pt to a cardiac center!
loggerbuck 1 year ago
So this is why Canadians out live Americans is because we have horrendous care? This why Canadians are less likely to be the victim of a medical errors and why we are less likely to die of them? This is why Canadian have a higher rated health care system? The US care is so great and yet Americans leave in hordes for care overseas.
As for the Dr's that move to the US from Canada - What the political right in the U.S. won't tell you is that more US dr's move to Canada than the US.
xianapple 1 year ago
@xianapple It is kind of like the whole HORRIBLE NEONATE CARE for America.
In fact the neonate care in the U.S. is probably the best in the world BY FAR. The problem is that so many Americans are strung out on CRACK AND METH and not getting prenatal care. That illegals run across the border without prenatal care. The number of preterm deliveries and multiple other problems CREATES a higher death rate for neonates... IN SPITE OF superior care.
American poisonous food and Rx fraud add to this.
loggerbuck 1 year ago
@loggerbuck My point is that you are trying portray anyone who has or supports universal health as a Socialist (Not True) You are also stating my health care is rationed in that I can only get a certain amount of care per year (Not True). You are also insinuating my health care is vastly inadequate again not true as Canadians enjoy amongst the longest life spans in the world.
I have no issue with you not liking our health care, but to base it on lies and insinuate I have very little rights .

@loggerbuck As for your DR. friend who commented on the Canadian National EMS dispatch. No such agency exists even under a different name.
xianapple 1 year ago
@xianapple I do not know the official name for the EMS Dispatch system... thus my generic description.
AS FOR ME LYING... if you knew the REST OF THE STORY ... which gives her HUGE credibility you'd really think I was a liar. I won't be sharing that.
loggerbuck 1 year ago

@Z0mgZ0mbies,
Socialism is enslavement??
