Could anyone in the Metro Detroit area (or anyone else for this matter) help me find a song that was getting airplay around the same time as this song? I heard both songs pecifically on the radio station 88.7 FM (89x)? It sounds similar to this song--both start out with instrumentals and no words. The problem is though, it's been such a long time since I heard the other song and I don't remember any lyrics.

Great song from a great band that refuses to box itself into that "indie/trendy" mold and instead does music on its own terms, for a music loving crowd. I loved their second album, the lyrics were just as amazing as the first (and rocked live) but because it didn't sound like that 80's post-punk throwback everyone loves, it was criticized.

I can't believe they're already on album number three, though, which actually sounds like a mix of the first and second albums. Thanks for the music Stills!

Heard some off the third album, its going to be good. It sounds more like the first album, more post punk influenced, less roots rock. Don't get me wrong, I actually really liked the second album, it was really good. I just thought it should have been under a different name. Dave should of called it his solo project or something. It was good but was really a different band. Well at least Tim is singing on the third album now instead of Dave.

Aa a huge fan of their first album, I rushed out to buy Without Feathers the day it came to my local record store. I was expecting it to be as deep and just plain awesome as the first.

Worst 20 bucks I every shelled out for a CD. The songs were just bland, and frankly some were painful to sit through. And believe me I really tried to like them. Sorry to you guys who don't agree with me, but IT'S CRAP.

Where the hell did they go wrong? It's even worse than Interpol's drop-off from Antics!

I agree. I was so disappointed in their second album. But, hey. If they decide to go in a completely different direction sound wise, that's their decision. It's worked for Radiohead apparently. Not so much for The Stills. A bummer, really. I hope they put out a third album that captures the eclectic alternative rock sound of their first album.
