  • Hi mate that looks class im trying to build a go kart witha 600cc enigne in it if any1s got any tips other than dont do it would be much apprcitd thanks

  • Keep the center of gravity as low as you can. If the engine sits too high, it will be top heavy. If the engine weighs too much, the front end weight ratio will be too low and it wont steer at high speeds or under load. Always use a differential rear axle and design the front end to maintain a proper steering axis inclination. Hope this helps.

  • Dude, me and my friends are building a go kart.. came across this vid whilst doin some research and gotta hand it to you.. it is awesome looking..

any chance you could hook me up with some pictures of the kart??

  • I have a few posted on my MySpace page...Check 'em out.

  • hey if you guys built that i would love some plans that thing is awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Actually, there are no plans. I just thought it through and started welding. As you can imagine, it took a lot of thinking through. Designing and building stuff is one of my stronger talents.

  • dude how much for that??? i will buy it

  • I chose to keep it for my kids to play wih. Sorry.

  • oh man well if you ever want to sell it i will buy it...how much were you gonna sell it for?

  • $2500

  • dude u let that kid drive something with that much power haha!

  • wow that thing is awesome, what size motor is that

  • 1985 Honda Rebel 250cc 5 speed w/ racing clutch

  • put it up to the redline and let the clutch out as fast as you can

  • haha this is awesome.

  • better learn him to ride a bike...

  • He rides a Honda CRX50 now but, he's ready for an 80cc.

  • ehm so? better learn him to ride a bike.

  • Then again, I think those 6 HP go-karts only have one gear, so there's no need for a transmission (or a gear-shift anyway). :(

  • that looks like a motorcycle engine on the back so you would need a shifter

  • A standard-shift Go-Kart. I wish Carter or some of the other go kart companies made them like that. (Of course you'd want the electric starter, it'd be a pain to have to get out and hand-pull it every time it cut off :D )

  • awsome way to raise the kids man, i had that motor and tube notcher id build one just like that. check out my builds.

  • dud is it still 4 sall tell me and how much i wod like to biy that its so sweet

  • Nope...I think I'll keep it for my kids after all.

  • what a great dad
