Juan Pablo Montoya is the only man still racing today, who has done two steps of the 'Triple crown' or big three, which is winning the Monaco Grand Prix, the Indy500 & the 24 hours of Le Mans.
If he ever enters & wins Le Mans, he'll be the second ever man to achieve a Triple Crown, behind the great Graham Hill.
Juan Montoya, all the world thank you not only because you are the best and the most natural talentd driver ( this is a natural gift you have) but also and mostly because you always honored sport .
Surelly the most natural talented driver of the last ten years ,the only way to stop him has been the dirty joke by ferrari- Sauber-Fia-Judges. By the way at the moment in Nascar they are starting to do pratically the same like the shameful penalty at Indianapolis 2009 say clearly And now let's go to see another picture by the famous artist JPM - onboard Juan Pablo Montoya Detroit 1999.
It's a shame JPM was denied of glory by crappy tires on Williams era amd crappy management and decisions in Mercedez. He should won 2003 championship but maFIA had other plans... (usa 2003)
The teams wanting to split was cos the teams are fed up with the FIA pulling their strings in order to get the results the FIA wanted. They want to go out and compete on the own right not on the terms of the FIA
@MrFreemon1 Thats bollocks. His McLaren was as un-reliable as shit.
He could match Kimi in 2005 & 2006. He wasn't alright with his car at first, but once he was, races like Silverstone and particularly Brazil, Montoya could & did beat Kimi.
@mgarofano oh, so if Montoya is involved, then he's never at fault? Even though sometimes he clearly is! You always say how perfect he is, but truth is he isn't! No driver is! According to your logic, if Montoya is involved the blame is always going to be put 100% on the other driver! Except in this incident there was no other driver involved, it was just Montoya speeding in the pitlane. So he got penalized for it! Happens in every motorsport, if a driver breaks the rules, they get penalized!
Yep the FIA have won all of Ferrari's championships. Ferrari champions again in 2009 cos of the FIA.........Seriously how ridiculous cos if that is the case why is Ferrari struggling this yr? Based on what u guys are saying the FIA should b disqualifying and sabotaging each race so that they can win.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
You don't get it don't you?!,even after Pixelsilva and Magarofono are kindly enougth to keep exposing it: Watch the star of the Malaysia 02. MS drove into JPM No only satisfying with that JPM recived a penalty courtesy of the FIA,i call that PLAYHARDBALL.and unfortunally there's more.wise up!.
like renault in 2005 and 2006 with the mass damper and brawn GP and the double difusor this year. And btw i dont think schumacher and ferrari recieve too much help from the fia i think schumacher won all those campionships thanks to the engineer Brawn who gave him the best car in benetton and ferrari.
Ferrari are slow cos of the fall out the president and Max had. How come McLaren and BMW r suffering as well. Ferrari and the FIA were never working together. FIA just helps out the money men of the sport get the show run the way they want. For eg how the hell did the top 3 teams of the last 2 season not pick up on the diffuser. This was just a case of the men behind the show wanting to mix it up a little cos they were losing fans cos of the same teams winning each race.
...but mechanical troubles, hydraulic malfunctions, exploding engines, own scuderias inside sabotages, scuderias preference for his team mate, being a no politically correct pilot, bad team bosses strategies, mean eye forgeting referes and even "mysteriously" malfunctioning microphones, took a toll on Juan Pablo Montoya, depriving him of at least 12 GPrix were he was almost the sure winner. Examples: Brasil 01', Hockenheim 01', Indy 01', Australia 03', Magny Course 03', Japon 03', Canada 05'.
I totally agree with you and I would just say that Montoya had to fight also against the Ferrari-Sauber-Fia- Judges system (big examples the videos -Malaysia 2002 start - or Monza 2003 hightligt - ) .When in his third race in Brazil he simply outclassed schumacher and was going to win ,Werstappen crushed him out......
So ,totally agree he is surely the most talented driver of the last ten years.
when you all said that, it gives me more reasons to feel angry!! what a shame that FIA was always against him and that really is bad for an organization like FIA. after that they didn't wanted to do anything against alonso, hamilton was better than them and they couldn't do anything to stop him in the last season. lol
Montoya, driving always the 2nd. or 3rd best car of the grill, was capable of contesting Ferrari and Schumacher supremacy. No other man in the F1 put more presure, gave so much hard time and fierce competition to Schumacher than Juan Pablo Montoya.
He manage to won 7 races during a period of time were Ferrari was king, specially 2002 and 2004 seasons where the Maranello Scuderia managed to win 10 to 16 races those two years. Montoya lose some incredible races that he had in his pocket...
It show the fanatics that he was the true genius behind Schumacher´s 7 championships while they were together in Ferrari. Today he is doing the same thing, riding his Scuderia. He could have put a monkey on the seat instead Button, and he could have win anyway. Many, many Schumacher wins you should attribute to Ross Barwn. True have finaly being revealed in the F1. Brawn was the mind behind Schumacher an Ferrari´s wins all this years.
Today the F1 politics gave us the reason: the asthonishing smart Ross Brawn with an unknown car just a few months ago, with bad drivers like Jenson Button (who was only capable of wining an F1 race on his 158 appearence), with uncharactered bodygards like loser Rubens Barrichello... is today capable of winning races just with sheer desire, ingenuity, unparalled strategy, no sponsors and a devilish mind.
F1 is a politic power game. When Montoya clearly showed to be better than Schumy the game started,It's very easy to win when you have Barrichello working for you (what a shame),when you have the blu Ferrari(Sauber) working for you (what a shame) and when you have Fia-Judges working for you(disgusting). Schumy was good but.give those "facility" to any other good driver and he surely 'll be WC .Montoya had all this "against" so his job in F1 has been simply extraordinary.
Watch Monza 2003 hight light just for example and you ll understand that "something"was wrong!!Listen Briatore!!!So...baby schumy should to learn to walk on his own legs..withouth Barrichello ,Sauber, and Politic..!! Obviously Montoya has been above all this, showing to all the world what is a natural talent driver you can't stop.If people ignore all this is because many of them watch to much television and they usually think following the mainstream.Watch things carefully and you ll understand
"Puaf, making Monty seem better than Schumi takes a lot of stupid things to say... First of all, I´ll say that Schumi is a dirty driver, but I wont mention at all that Montoya was involved in tons of crashes, and he was as agressive as Michael. This is not enough... OH!! I´ll say that FIA won his 7 championships... bah, that´s bullshit... but I´ll write it anyway. And I won´t forget to write some excuses about 2005 Räikkönen´s beat at Monty..."

@vishva88 Endurance triple crown: 24 hours of Le Mans (Le Mans series), 12 hours of Sebring (AMLS) and 24 hours of Daytona (Daytona Prototype)

The FIA fell out with ferrari because the Ferrari president upset max in the breakaway thingy, so thats why ferrari are not as fast :)
