Does this guy EVER JUST GET TO THE POINT!!!!!... Agghh. I'm an IT tech and I check his "reviews" out ...when really bored......PLEASE!!! just get to the point!!
hi paul here I keep getting the message I need to download Coral Player to watch the movie I've downloaded... even though I have downloaded it in a couple of different formats. I have looked into downloading coral player but it's not compatible with mac. suggestions for overcoming this are most appreciated thanks
2:36, Notice the way how he is about to say "It's kinda like having sex and not wearing a condom", but quikcly chnages it to wallking down a dark ally way, refuring to anus/vagina, as his mind is still set on his first statment, he then stuters and says 50 dollor notea haning out, with is out of context to his first statments.
Bro i am sharing my internet connection with my neighbor. but that crap has no respect, and he keeps on downloading all the big movie torrents all the time. I requested him not to do, but as I said he has no respect. Can you tell me how to block torrent download..please help me.
On the windows side - I suggest Sygate Personal Firewall. It's still available for free (even though Symantec bought them). Sygate by default locks every program until you allow or block them one by one. At first - you'll be asked every couple seconds (do you want to allow "insert software name here" to access the net or access your network? After you get it set, it doesn't bother you much at all. It's very good for free on windows.
zone alarm? by for the best firewall that i've seen is jetico... zone alarm, comodo, kaspersky, and so on either tend to lag the pc or offer very little protection. but jetico seems to be too powerfull asking ur permission for anything that trys to run on the 1st time u install it.. malwarebytes is only a AV but its acting more like a firewall nad its protecting me nicely with no lag's so far.
I have kaspersky 2010 but that cost 50 a year. but if you want it free i would get AVG free disable the FireWall with AVG download ZoneAlarm free firewall. so now you have And AV and firewall. AVG does have and firewall but zonealarm is alot better.
I use Zonealarm it's so awesome, CPU power hog. Comes with a free PC tune up which caused untold errors and explained crashes. Before PC was new and run perfectly. Good going Zonealarm.
I use Zone Alarm Pro since Windows 98. It´s fantastic and very easy to use. If you use the one in windows you are in deep s**t. Try Comodo for Free and for payed ones I recommend ZoneAlarm Pro 2009 and Anitum Outpost Pro (the best out there!)
If you are willing to pay for good security, ZoneAlarm Extreme Security is great. I'm not spamming or soliciting this product, just telling you it's a good product, because I've used it before.
Yea I had a 1 year subscription plus the 90 day free trial and it did not find one virus or anything. I know mostly what not to do as far web surfing & downloading but I doubt that for a year & 3 months I had no viruses or the like. Worthless!
recomended:i think u should download mcafee site advisor. avg version 1 or 7, use microsoft firewall if u dont have money. go surf on google. if u go ahead and add stuff on google, DONT maximise those things. norton security is also reccomended. dont EVER click any ads ESPECIALLY youtube ads, then you'll be pretty safe. but remember kids, on the internet ur never completely safe. :)
Best firewalls belong to either BitDefender or ZoneAlarm. They're pretty advanced, don't limit your web upload/download speeds and update every couple of hours, no one can beat them on that.
If one has Windows Defender which has a firewall and and ISP that has a firewall will they clash? Not to mention the router. . which I believe also has a firewall?
Yeah that's all fine and dandy, EXCEPT when things happen to get on your computer from you installing something, and then they access the internet without your knowledge, then you'd have problems. A router isn't going to stop that, but a good software firewall would alert you to something trying to access the web.
off-topic: i noticed most of your videos are cluttered with a bunch of crap on the sides.
i agree with clone mate, if you don't go to "certain" sites and do "certain" things, the chance of getting a virus is very low. most of the time you'll just have to be smart. i mean, hmm.. firefox 5.0 beta..300kbs..fishy.. well also note that a hacker probaly can't use your connection if its dial-up.
i can name only 1 place wer u get malicious programs trying to get in ur comp........porn.......thats were almost every 1 gets there Trojans, logger, worms malware u name it u get it frm explicit sites... so plz stay away and get ur erm erm from stores -.-
Uhhh, not really. Although lots of porn sites are malicious, there are also plenty of rogue antivirus too. And that's not including downloads with malware attached to legitimate programs.
I couldn't agree with you more ! COMODO I.S. is the best that I know of. I also have used Sygate as well.. which is also very good. Norton's and McAfee are resource hogs!! Woof woof!!
webroot is one of the best still, zone alarm is good but is not always up to date, i would never uninstall the windows fire wall that it came, just turn it off if you have more than one
Zone Alarm FREE, SpywareBlaster, AVG Free, Peer Guardian 2. These 4 apps will keep you from getting a lot of problems. PG2 must be temporarily disabled or add IP's to a whitelist for many apps to work, but when your not running apps, it helps limit un-needed traffic and keep your PC more secure.
Chris do you seriously know your stuff? Cos most software firewalls are crap. they pop so much crap up at you that your average user wouldnt have a clue what to ALLOW and what not to ALLOW. I work in the field and advise client to run a hardware firewall or simply use thier adsl modem with NAT. Symantec, McAfee and several others are absoloute crap
Absolutely correct! And I the tech support and download site i-CONICA,net so I too know what I'm talking about. I've not once heard Chris actually give tech support. Even though that's what his site claims to be about...
LOL He cant, hes just a corporate puppet too scared of losing his sponsorship. He sounds exactly like a politician. Says alot and at the same time says nothing.
The Mcafee firewall is more secure than Window's firewall, but it is "too leaky." However, it does full stealth and programs management. I'd Recommend DSA from privacyware, Comodo Firewall pro, or the webroot firewall. Another great one (no vista versions yet) is Online Armor free.
Zone Alarm free is way to leaky, but ZAPro has great outbound protection. But remember, the "leaks" are mostly theoretical, unless you run no anti-malware and download like it's free cash.

allu222.. you say you use comodo and it doesnt slow your system down.. its not about that you dick.. its if it can protect your computer which comodo doesnt
Norton keeps spamming the user about any kind of network trafic making the user panic and calling tech support constantly for no real reason, oh and it's slow.
But it probably is similar to XP's firewall (just an inbound port blocker) - but that is all you really need if you are careful about what you run. You could run an anti-virus to be extra safe.

"leaky" meaning that there are potential (theoretical) exploits to "fool" the firewall's outbound protection.
