The hard part is t get the dragon ore, not the coal.

And the 10 coal are just fit into the system of how many coal you need for each type of metal. Take a look at this:

steel: 2 coal

mithril: 4 coal

adamantite: 6 coal

runite: 8 coal

dragon: mh, not hard to guess, 10 coal. ;)

And to make it a bit more expensive, I already added the dragonstone dust you need.

if jagex were to introduce this into the game, they would need to lower the smithing levels needed for rune, otherwise it would be pretty pointless having the same levels needed for rune and dragon. they also can't use pots otherwise you wouldn't be able to earn the right to smith them, anyone can use the pots to be able to smith drag

1st the skillcapes and 2nd the dwarvern stout which raises the mining and smithing level +1 each.

Maybe level 100 mining for the dragon ore (using the mining skillcape), and level 90-100 to smith items from a dagger up to a platebody (with bars, not broken armour parts), using the smithing cape.

And there is even another, older dragon item you can smith with level 60. Dragon square shield, you need the right half (bought in the Legends guild) and the left half (droped by all monsters that are dropping uncuts and d stones).

guys there is no such thing as dragon ore. u can only get dragon stuff from killing good monsters. but u can smith 1 dragon item: dragon platebody and u need broken dragon shards to smith it and 92 smithing and high enough mage to do fire wave(i think 75).

I dont like the idea because it would lower the price of dragon items so much. And cause of the GE the pirce of bars will be more then the price of dragon items. Thats what I hate about the GE it makes the items more then there worth.

And I know that all the bars are more worth than the items, thats becasue all that rich guys, wanting to train their smithing to 99 fast.

It just needs 1 something, keeping the prices up. Like that the items are corupt (like the one you get from the pvp), so the corupt D items won't be more worth then the original dragon items.

I get what your saying but I hate that the bars are worth more then the items. Its the reason I hate the GE. And its not just like that with the mineing and smithing its like that with every skill. I dont even see the point in getting some skills up any more cause you make more selling the raw materals then the finished item. Look at the magic bow its pointless to fletch it cause mag logs sell for more and are easyer to get. So I just think it would lower the price of D items.

lol dont worry it doent but if you want to make one your self you have to buy 3 dragon lumps(9.6mill each) then smith them to make a d plate (must finesh the quest while guthinx sleeps)
