There really isn't any that I know of. The lacquer spray protects your work. If you airbrush a face-up, that may be durable enough, but it is hard to do that on the tiniest dolls.

Hi. I'm going to purchase the watercolour pencils and the artists soft pastels. What are the specific colors I should get for the pencils and the pastels?
The smaller the better. They should be high quality with a certain amount of snap to them. I had a 00/10 and it seemed too large when I was using it. Volks has special face-up brushes, and I'd love to know how well they work.

You make it look so easy. :) You have a very steady hand. Those guys are so so tiny! I thought my Rosen Lied was small!
