I saw David on American idol show Wednesday as guest performer. It was great to see him back on AI stage. How far he has come after one year. He's now going on tour in UK with McFly, and in summer, tour with Demi Lovato. He is a busy guy, a successful musical career in the making. Actually, David Archuleta's album has hit platinum and his CRUSH also hit platinum and he's had successful solo Tour concerts in U.S. and continuing on Tour to overseas. I would love to attend his UK concert. Selling CDs are important to record producers but what is wonderful is fans adore, admire, and love David Archuleta. I just don't like the way YouTube and AI slant the sites. AI Show is losing credibility. Each year, they are losing viewers but 19 million viewers (down from 30 million) is still good for television. I don't watch the show but good luck to new singers.

Went to the AI tour concert in Portland last night. Archuleta was the best of show,flawless, followed by Michael Johns, who just shines thru on the tour stage. Cook? Ahhh, not so much, as usual. Theatrical and cocky, imo.

I am a fan of Archies, Javier. He is very talented, but he needs to come out of the robot style movements. It's just not appealing to me. He's to stiff. Always the same is not that entertaining. When he gets more experience under his belt, away from the talent shows and church function preformances he will begain to grow into a style that is more appealing I think. This is just my humble opinion.
He was so emotional when he sang this. Same here, best male vocals that has come out of music for a long long time! And I'm not a youngster. Music needs someone like David A. All year long I had been wishing he sang this song. I knew he would bring the house down with it...I would like to Thank Clive Davis for picking it for him. As for the results, David C. seems like a good person and a pretty good singer but in no way should he have won a singing/vocal competition over Archie. It was like watching a great movie with a crappy ending. They should consider letting the judges vote in the finale at least partially like they do on dancing with the stars.

AI 2008 contest is over. Here's David Archuleta's news on his 2009 solo TOUR -
"there is a list of his concert dates on his myspace page (anyone can go there). I think the only concert that is not sold out in the US is the Reno one that someone said had 76 tickets left but you can check other ticket outlets because people usually sell tickets to sold out concerts."

Well, put this video is put at the latter page 15 or so, when people click, you get message, "SORRY, THIS VIDEO IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE." that message would discourage NEW viewers from coming back to see.
A definite ploy to keep the view counts LOW for Archuleta's videos.

The ones who make the records felt David Cook will sell more records than a young 17 yrs old, and Americans who voted wanted a rocker for season 7. Cook was set to win. Controversy is how they made sure that Cook won Rigging took place.

He deserves Amerian Idol title. He clearly demonstrated his true and strong ablity to win this year Idol. Unfortunately, David Cook Bribed Simon Cow and Randy at the last hour. David Archuleta is a way better singer than Cook.

I keep coming coming back to David's finale performances. Though this video is hidden so I've looked at another LOWER view count, and another....of the same performance. It may not increase his view counts but I love listening to David Archuleta.
His singing touches my heart.
I get energized when he sings.
His pure voice, honesty and integrity amazes me.

I think David A. is too generic. Granted he does have a good voice, but its still common. i mean look at his song "crush." I like it, its catchy and all, but it sounds just like everything else today. I'm glad David Cook won, we needed a true rocker to win!

I really missed the boat on the downloads.. By the time I realized I would miss seeing Archie every week.. Everything was off iTunes.. At least I still have the videos. Unfortunately, that leaves me glued to the computer for half my life. LOL

Went to the AI tour concert in Portland last night. Archuleta was the best of show,flawless, followed by Michael Johns, who just shines thru on the tour stage. Cook? Ahhh, not so much, as usual. Theatrical and cocky, imo.

I am a fan of Archies, Javier. He is very talented, but he needs to come out of the robot style movements. It's just not appealing to me. He's to stiff. Always the same is not that entertaining. When he gets more experience under his belt, away from the talent shows and church function preformances he will begain to grow into a style that is more appealing I think. This is just my humble opinion.

doesn't matter if this song is cursed or not. It was a perfect fit for David and the performance was a vocal atom bomb. When he started walking toward the front I thought the audience was gonna get blown outta their chairs!
For all the flak he endured this season, finishing 2nd out of 100,000 people is quite an accomplishment. The more seasoned,older,dependable rocker got the title, which is fine really. It's not like Cook didn't work hard too.

yes it was awful. shows what happens when cook is stripped of his guitar, music, and fancy lights. people start to hear those missed and flat notes he's been doing all season.

You know from the get go what his runs are going to be, what hand movements he will be using, which hand he will hold the mike in, that he will lean forward at some point, and so on, and so on, and so on....He needs to work on his stage preasence big time....boring

i love to listen and watch this performance. it is on my top fav of his. he threw his whole heart in there and anyone with any kind of feeling could feel this song. i was so sad he didn't get 1st but i've heard more about him than anyone of the other contestants since the show ended. he is a history making artist.

All year long I had been wishing he sang this song. I knew he would bring the house down with it...I would like to Thank Clive Davis for picking it for him. As for the results, David C. seems like a good person and a pretty good singer but in no way should he have won a singing/vocal competition over Archie. It was like watching a great movie with a crappy ending. They should consider letting the judges vote in the finale at least partially like they do on dancing with the stars.
