  • My grandfather Pat Kissinger survived the Death March ofBataan, if that isnt tough then I dont know what is, great pride for our family!

  • Just another holohoax

  • @2channIist I'd love to see you tell that to one of the survivers. They'd beat the fucking shit out of you...

  • @AlienBeliever897 oh yeah if I happen to meet with em.

  • @2channIist Do you honestly believe that this was a fucking hoax? There's undeniable proof that it happened. To deny this ever happening is like denying the Holocaust. But hey, you probably don't believe in that either -_-

  • @AlienBeliever897 geez so these guys were not warriors but probably boy scouts huh? Next time your men need to bring their parents in the battle field.

  • @2channIist Fuck You

  • @2channIist Where is your sense of shame? I've personally met, shaken hands with and filmed a man who survived the insane brutality committed by the Japanese on the “Bataan death march” in the Philippian Theater. May god save your soul when you meet these men someday? Maybe they’ll toss you down to the Japs?

  • @TheLimbReaper Update: forget that part about Our god saving your soul. Your god is hell and you will certainly be there soon.

  • @8524frank

Well frank thanks for this information! have u ever seen the serie the pacific? i've seen band of brothers, im thinking to buy the pacific. i've seend parts of the pacific that all those japps just dont gave up and suicide even when americans are trying to help.... that make me sick

  • @8524frank

im dutch so im not realy good in english but, i had to laugh like hell when i readed your reaction xD

but i dont know if they deserv it, but i can also say they deserv it but its a litle bit unhuman

  • i salute all of you. i wish i was born then to fight along side you guys!!!

  • Stand up for the pledge, for those people that don't. I mean show some respect and stand is the least you can do, these guys put their lives out there for our freedom.

  • This is why payback is a b****. They made the U.S. die during death march and pearl harbor, we bomb the s*** out of them to make them learn their place.

  • japan committed crimes against humanity, that sums it up. invading so many countries, and everywhere they go, they rape, mass murder.........and even kill their own race, half the people killed in pearl harbour attack is japanese american, the nuclear bomb was also caused by the jap emperor indirectly. They could have stopped the bomb, but chooses not too.......JAP, keep your heads down, your ancestor have commited crimes way too huge that not even the next 5000 years can help you wash it away.

  • so many war criminals went free after the surrender of Japan, through plea bargain, and deals not to sell out to the Russians, the emperor of Japan should have been tried as a war criminal but was let go, for the same reason the imperial palace was "off limits" to american bomber attacks. go figure. I have spoken.

  • They got what they deserved, anyone who disagrees can shove it.

  • *hat tip

Nowadays, you have a bunch of these stupid japophiles and wannabe japanese that are so damn infatuated with Japan because of stupid anime that they will try and deny that this ever happened.

These nutjobs exist in this side of the world in big numbers too, like that ilovejapan888 retard. Fuckers need a concussion from a giant history book ASAP.

  • Hey guys, check out my new videos. I have 5 clips uploaded with interviews of a Death March survivor as well as a history professor from the Philippines.

  • General King did not run away. He surrendered his soldiers because the American Government gave up on them. He spent 3 1/2 years in Japanese possession. I suggest you do your research before you leave idiotic comments.

  • @hinsonfilms I remember my father talking about being captured in the Pilliphines. He said that he and three other guys fought over a lemon. My husband told me about some of the torture my father saw. Things you wouldn't want to hear about before eating. I hope someday there will be peace in the middle east.

  • It's amazing that just through watching this video, you see what people go through. And yet, on these comment threads I still see people spreading hate. The idea is to LEARN from what our past generations have done and to NOT make the same mistake. We are all to blame for the horrible acts during the war. But it was a WAR. There's no such thing as a rational, conditional, "polite" or violence free war.

I'm half-american & half filipino and I'm proud to be both. Understand the mindset, and learn.

  • i met the first old man when i was a kid, we went there for a field trip.. he says that they even needed to dress up as a girl from the help of others watching them to escape. if they were sick, or cant walk the japanese would shoot them, no wonder the americans were provoked to do that to hiroshima/nagasaki

  • A Japanese army did not allow them to die by intention.

There is not food, and either it is admitted that it was a mistake the strategy to have made them take the captive and die of epidemic.

However, these are not called a cruelty. And, the civilian has not been rolled.

The atomic bomb has reversely slaughtered a civilian not guilty.

    Do you understand this difference?

What you know is only superficial.

  • please dont deny all the atrocities that the japanese empire did in WW2.. obviously your a japanese or maybe not.. dont try to defend them...japan will always be remembered as one of the most brutal and inhumane nations in world in ww2...

  • @abcchoy u r absl. right

  • You fail sweetie! Your comment is as weak as your education. It's ok.. I won't judge you, much.

  • accept it, native indians were only people who lived in america

  • It was in reply to the Americans becoming Europes bitch, not the latter. It's ok you're allowed to make a mistake...One mistake.

  • @oscarjr265 you stupid son of a slut, piece of shit, human trash

  • RIP

  • some of my grandma and grandpas brothers were in the death march. I think one escape survived and later join the guerrillas.May those who perished in the march and camps rest in peace

  • We must also give our regards to the Kuomintang and Chinese Communist Party who experienced and fought the Imperial filth in their own country.

  • you i know they had chinese guerillas in the philippines who fought against the japs too, chinese who lived in the country.

  • Of course all japs are not bad. Inside every jap is an American trying to get out!

Those poor citizens persecuted by war ferver were true victims. The 442 proved their loyalty. The beasts from the homeland however deserved to be incinerated! To bad they never made it here so that they too could be reformed.

    kapayapaan

  • my great uncle survived the death march and made it onto the slave ship that was headed for the mitsubishi factory, tragically he and many other contracted the plague due to the horrid conditions that the japs our troops in, then the ship was burned by the japaneese killing all the captured soldiers inside. I hope that all those responsible go to hell

  • ANO BUHAY PA YUNG UNCLE MO

  • Im glad to be a Japanese American. But I hate my Japanese side for wwII, and whenever I'm with either white or pinoy friends of mine, I always go BANZAI or make crashing plane notions with my hands. I always make fun of my Jap side to not affend them.

  • wtf U.S killed 600,000 filipinos in philippine-american war for bullshit reason. you have serious identity crisis... i feel bad for you

  • A country is a country.

  • yeah... so wat?

  • seriously? have you ever heard of the Japanese-Americans during World War 2 who fought against the nazis to rescue Pure Americans trapped behind enemy lines? Not all japanese are bad. keep that in mind

  • Impaler852:

I've heard of Japanese-Americans fighting in WW2 against the Nazis. I also heard most of them were from Hawaii and the sad part was their families were put in concentration camps. But they were Americans too.

  • Comment removed

  • you fob, don't call japanese jap.

    Don't you hate white americans?

ever heard of japanese american internment camp?

  • ya i know, but im a happa so its kinda difficult to describe on my side.

  • Filipino people, filipino people, filipino people. Don't you ever forget how your ancestors was kidnapped, tortured, raped, forced to be colony of U.S by americans in philippine-american war.

  • by the americans? not actually, when you think of the deeper side of th Phil American war, the americans did nothing to offend the filipinop civilians, i never read or heard of it... only aguinaldo's army were actually in war against the americans... think of it, the civilians love the americans... im not pro american, just saying my own perspective of the filipino situation

  • by the fact americans killed 600,000 innocent filipinos in philippine-american war

  • you must be joking...

  • wow.. your so stupid..!!! have you ever heard of the balangiga massacre?..

  • my grandma told us that she almost died when japanese went to our town in 1945 i guess idk... well our place is kinda close to the mts. so she went there runnin w/ her family and stayed there fo 2weeks and she saw japanese there, but they all died cause they dont have somethin to eat and they dont know what food looks like in the philippines so they ate the poisonous ones... good thing she survived though, w/out her i wouldnt be typin these comments right now.... and thanks to all the americans!

  • its so friendly of the philipinos to give the americans food, even if they risked their own lives

  • man... you people say japan is bad? my classmate is japanese and his nice. and im FROM PHILIPPINES!!!! Pilipino ako

  • Do you know Philippine-American War 1899-1902 ?

According to Wikipedia, the operations launched by the U.S. against the Filipinos, an integral part of its pacification program, which claimed the lives of over a million Filipinos, constituted genocide.

What do you think of this genocide?

  • ×Day of Decent

    ○Day of Deceit

    sorry for my mistyping.

  • Still, we need to move on, alot of Japanese people today don't hold anything against us for the atomic bombings. In return, we shouldn't hold anything against them for Pearl Harbor and Bataan. Forgive, but NEVER Forget.

  • People who say that we should apologize to the Japanese for Nagasaki and Hiroshima can go fuck themselves. This right here is the reason why. The Japs started it, if you stick your hands in a lion's cage and poke the lion, don't call the lion evil for biting your hands off, YOU STARTED IT!!!!

  • Have you read [Day of Decent ]by Robert B. Stinnett(published in 2000)?

    If not,please read the book.

    this book concludes that

    President Franklin Delano Roosevelt

wanted war with Empire of Japan.

  • japan is so stupid!! they are so meann. its good america atomic bombed them

  • R.I.P to all those who lost their lives...it was an important part of our history and it should never be forgotten.....

    thank you for uploading..

    5/5

  • today japanese peoples has the longest live (average life span) in the world. It wasn't a poor choice of words, maybe you have a problem giving in to this fact.

  • This was one of the darkest things in the history of war, this is one reason we nuked japan.

  • japan,..,,..fucked up!

  • i got to meet a lot of these people when we stood up the 2nd engineer battallion again. those pow's were amazing to meet and talk to.

  • Wow My Great grandFather is one of them

  • Your documentary inspired me to do "Paggunita" Remembering.

  • fuck all those japanese

  • "Japanese are all fucked up from the radiation"???

Do you believe such an outrageous crap? Are you mad or crazy or dimented? Bull shit.

  • Go suck a dick. What a stupid topic that shouldnt even be entertained, Go find an illegal Mexican hooker and talk her to death.

  • how bout you go fuck your self...are you just going to try to forget what those japs did to our prisinors?? they deserved to have had those atom bombs dropped on them

  • Those bombs killed innocent Japanese civilians NOT the Japanese armies. We bombed cities, not military bases. We bombed the wrong places if you ask me. Remember that it was the army at that time that performed these evil and terrible acts against our and Philippine prisoners.

  • erm, yeh, you ever heard what the jap civillians did to POWs? POW's were herded into cages like cattle and beaten by jap civillians and were allowed to beat the prisoners for around £5 in those days.

  • yeah but the japanese killed ALOT of INNOCENT people aswell...not only filipinos.

  • So you believe the Japanese didn't kill innocent civilians in WW2? Go tell the Chinese, Indonesians, Filipinos, Vietnamese, Cambodians, Laotians, Burmese, Timorese, and Malaysians that the Japanese never committed atrocities on civilians and see what they have to say about it.

  • to think I admired japan well atleast they are now better people

  • search philippine-american war. way terribler.

  • Have a little respect ...Some of us have friends and relatives that died in that march ...And, by the by, next time you have a lapse in grace and feel compelled to curse any other person, place or thing for God's sake please get the correct spelling ...For your edification, in this case, that would be "PHILIPPINES" ...Bitch!

  • fuck you!! you cant even spell PHILIPPINES!!

  • anyone who is interested should read the book, "No Uncle Sam, The Forgotten of Bataan" by Tony Bilek. Great Book!

  • WWII is over man. I am creating this documentary to show the importance of this event in Philippine History. Yes Japan was wrong for what they did but we need to move on. Event though what Japan did was wrong we cannot blame this generation for what was done during World War II.

  • damn straight

  • so sad. so many great young men perished for no noble cause

  • R.I.P to those who died in the brutal death marches.

  • Yes...and let us always remember that when the US government gave up on them they fought til they couldn't anymore!

  • HAH, screw you dumb yankee cowards! SCREW YOU along with that dumb old McArthur! if it is not for him, there will be no death march. screw him and his propaganda!!!

the yankees even have the nerve to lease help to china and russia which is their enemies yet abandon us. SCREW YOU COWARDS!!!

  • yea thats true my grand father fought to his death

  • I recommend the book "Death march" by Donald Knox. Fantastic book. It's written from interviews by survivors from Bataan and Corregidor. Very moving at certain parts, hilarious at others.

  • my great uncle phillip coon is one of the survivors of the death march,he is on of the reason why i joined the service.

  • my grandpa was a geurilla tha time, lots of filipinos died in that march

  • God bless these brave men. The horrors they experienced should NEVER be forgotten.

  • Handling is more than victims!

  • why do you hate japanise

  • unit 731, nanking massacre, and the fact that those responsible were unpunished.

and how they(japs) continue to deny that it happened.

they shouldve NUKED tokyo as well.

  • if you look at it that way, nearly every country should be nuked. America did some sick shit too.

  • to those who conquer phils!

  • how could japanese make business here in philippines?deport them!!!shit japanese!

  • thats okay, b/c they usually get kidnapped and sold for ransom in the mean streets of Manila

  • hehe..got the point!ok,make business here! =]

  • Fuckn Japs! Die Die Die Japanese!!!

    I Hate Japanese!!!

  • u idiot!

  • Hi, does anyone have a close family member that are from the march and could do quick interview and send it to me, that would be nice, because i'm doing a WWII project on the pacific front and it would be nice to have someone that live though the hard time speaking.

  • My father was a survivor of the march. He told me a few interesting stories if you are interested

  • im interested. I take it your American. Im English and one of my family members got captured by the Japanese. He was not in the march, but he he was taken to a POW camp and died from starvation. I admire your father, along with the rest of the survivors and those who did not alive. Unlike many Englishman, i love America

  • I want to be a terrorist and terrorize Japan right now but it would be wrong. It sucks being the good guy sometimes.

  • I think Japan has suffered enough and is now a friendly nation, the rising threat now is Iran, they say it will be far more dangerous and worse destruction...scary!

  • AMERICAN BATTLE MONUMENTS COMMISSION The World War II Honor Roll: Jose Atienza Sergeant, U.S. Army Service # 6737212 31st US Infantry Regiment Entered the Service from: Philippines Died: 18-May-42 Missing in Action or Buried at Sea Tablets of the Missing at Manila American Cemetery Manila, Philippines Awards: Bronze Star Our Family will always remember. And never to be forgotten, again.
  • Also, he is the former second V.P. of the Phillipine Scouts Heritage Society. He may still hold this title, but I'm not sure.

  • My grandfather is a death march survivor. His awards include: Prisoner of War Medal, two Bronze Stars, American Defense Service Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, Philippine Defense Service Medal, Philippine Guerilla Resistance Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, three Presidential Unit Citations, Japan Occupation Medal, etc. He loves to talk about his experiences, but he's ninty years old and his time here is limited. If you would like to get in contact with him, let me know.

  • Omg, i would like to talk and speak with him, can you like interview him and send me the video? that would be very nice.

  • please send me the video as well, im always interested in POW experiences. Thanks

  • please get me in contact w/ any survivors. I want to do a book of interviews and I know a film director, so I am trying to get a movie about the march done. The book is a definite, the movie wud be a possibility. just email me. thank you.

  • If you are serious, contact the Philippine Scouts Heritage Society. Google them for the contact number(s). I'm sure they can direct you. As of 2006, they had as many as 14 former scouts at the annual reunion. I know of one, & he's in his 90s. This year's reunion will be in Burlingame, Ca.

  • WOW.

Makes me proud to serve aboard the USS Bataan (lhd5).

  • Americans and Filipinos fought from the start to end, together in WW2, to defend and then liberate the Philippines. In this death march, many more filipinos perished. But that doesn't lessen the American sacrifices. As Americans, lets remember the Filipinos as people who sacrificed for our troops. They had one hell of a resistance movement, rent the movie "The Great Raid", very insightful. True story of POW camp in the Philippines.

  • One American soldier commented during the Death March that Filipinos are magnificent all the way for helping them survive hunger and pain.

  • i say drop beats not bombs ... america is a great country phlippines is a great country wothout america who knows im half filo im 17

  • this comment is for the demonmoron...

  • ignorant fuck

  • I am a Filipino veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division. My father was in the US Army and my grandfather was also. Anyone know how I can find out what unit my grandfather was in when he lived in the Philippines?

  • Go to the National Archives & Records. Type AAD in the search box. Click ONLINE MILIT. RECORDS IN AAD. Click AAD MAIN PAGE on the upper-right. Type his name in the box. Click view records. If he's there you can get his serial #. You can then request his record using FORM SF-180. Also, if he's in a military cemetery, go to American Battle Monuments Commission. Let me know if you run into a snag. Good luck.

  • Guys we should all try to keep racist comments to ourselves. I am really shocked to read such bad comments on my video. I filmed this documentary to honor the Filipino and American veterans who fought on Bataan. These veterans need to be remembered. So please keep negative comments to yourself!

  • Who pulled your string?!! Based on what people have been saying to you in your profile, you're the gutless one who hides behind the computer to take pot shots at people INDISCRIMINATELY. Go back to your video games!

  • You can read about what these men went through. Google US Army Center of Military History. Click this sequence: Bookshelves, Book & Research, WWII, Pacific Theater, Fall of the Philippines.

You appreciate their sacrifices more after you read.

My dad was w/24th FA (Philippine Scouts) He passed in 1999. My grandpa w/88th FA (PS)died from dysentery @ Camp O'Donnell. An uncle w/23rd FA (PS)died in battle. Another uncle w/26th Cav (PS)escaped & became a guerrilla.

  • My grandfather was in the 24th FA Philippine Scouts as well. He was from Tarlac and moved to St. Lucia near Camp O'Donnell after the war. Actually I have a house near Camp O'Donnell.

  • You may be able to obtain his record with the National Archives & Records. I got my dad's entire record w/the Phil. Scouts & US Army. I joined the Phil. Scouts Heritage Society, & I do quite a bit of research. If you e-mail me, I might be able to help you. I was born @ Ft. Stotsenburg (later Clark AFB).I live in California, but we lived in Angeles until 1958. My dad was from Samar & he was w/1st Bn C Battery. Was Hinson your grandpa's last name?

  • I asked that last question,'cause I don't know your gender.

  • It's ashame how stupid the youth of the world have become leaving such idiotic comments on here.

I would love to record survivors of the Death Bataan March. I just made a facebook group for them

  • There are many Americans who do not want to support Israel, I found this to be the case among many Arab Americans, Muslim Americans, and Black Americans along with some other type of Americans.

  • Count on a stupid ass Brit to criticize a country that prevented your country from being completely destroyed by German warplanes.

  • play with yourself!black man!

  • Russia helped us fight the Germans, and Russia was there from the start, not simply because the Japs bombed Pearl Harbour. As for Dug-Out Doug, he starved the Filipinos, but that isn't anything new is it, and they still haven't got the sense to throw the Yanks out.

  • Ain't that the truth.

  • EXTREMELY INSENSITIVE!! They had their intestines disembowled from them and were beheaded! Learn your history you git!!

  • usa is an axis of evil !fucking killer country!

  • Oh yes and Britain fairs so much better.

  • Well put it this way Darling, the majority of the British live in Britain and they're quite happy to remain that way. except for certain colonial idiots in power. Now America is an occupied nation, and it's occupied by you. When you give America back to its indigenous people, then you earn the right to bitch at others. Until then, just shut it!

  • Have you got sharia law in merry old England yet? If I were you I would get used to learning Arabic you limey cunt.

  • Oh how American of you to know how to swear. If I were you I would start learning Chinese, cos they own America; you're so much in debt to them it ain't true.

  • Business wise. We have more in common with Asia than Europe. Thats why we have language classes on Japanese and Chinese here.

  • My dad fought in WWII and was also in death march. He still have like 2 bullets in his body from the war because taking them out will cause more injuries to him. He recieved a couple of purple hearts and a medal of valor given by Ferdinand Marcos in Baguio in 1998 for his outstanding service and bravery during the war. He was awarded a plaque by "Hoy Gising" recognizing his contribution to the country.

Nice documentary "hinsonfilms" !!!,, I hope to see more ...

  • That's 1988, sorry !!

  • opps sorry again its was 1982 I was only 4yrs .. sorry again ...
