i was a kid when i was living in Delhi and when this saregama started on Zee, neither my family or I missed a single episode.. i never missed it 'cuz of Sonu.. man those were sum awesome times.. no place like India after Afghanistan for me.. especially New Delhi..

thank u India for the gr8 memories that all Afghans have, than they have of any other place in Asia. u treated us like guests while our closest neighbours treated us non-humans.

@ryansheikh49 He does sound very much like Rafi, its true. I think it comes from many years of mimicking Rafi. Rafi has a slight silvery touch to his voice that Sonu is missing, which makes Rafi's versions sound a tiny bit better. But Sonu is just as good a singer.

Why is it that the contestants of the show back then sound more old-fashioned than the contestants now? Has evolution changed people's voice-textures??
