  • I loved this song at the time and still do. I have only recently discovered that Ian Broudie, whom I am a big fan of was involved with this song

  • @Sonicthehedeghog: name=gay,taste in music=gay =personality=gay

  • They Are the band called CARE The Best !!!

  • This message directed towards parkhill62. After watching this video with that music and seeing the woman's face you have as your picture I am SO confused as to who or what you are.

  • Fantastic song this.

  • Cool song. I was lucky enough to see The Lightning Seeds in Hollywood many years ago and he (Ian Broudie) played this song. Awesome.

  • umaapoy kong ispada

  • LOL - So sayeth the boy with no videos and faves which include little kittens and 2 boys playing in the garage!

  • Parkhill, don't respond to stupid garaige like this. I gave this video 5 stars!

  • Fell for this song on UK radio as a 13 year old, 10 years later walked into HMV (uk record shop) and bought the Wild Swans album on first listen (it was playing in the shop), 15 years later on, only thanks to the internet did I find out its the same guys(well, almost). Superb song, would love to get my hands on that brass sample

  • love this song than my boyish days..did everyone heard the remix version of but not tonight by depeche mode?

  • I see your point Iris2gamera, But here in manila we listen all time to New Wave. Wild Swans I know well and enjoy. This song is the start of Abba's Dancing Queen but much of the sound of vocalist is Andy from OMD (IMHO)

  • What is the name of this movie? It would be perfect on a Saturday afternoon between 1-3pm.

I tried to find Care's album on iTunes but it wasn't available.

  • Its from the 1970s Japanese TV series "The Water Margin"

  • OMD rip offs are still interesting, but no way is this as good as Lightning Seeds (IMHO).

  • "OMD rip offs are still interesting" -- I can see why you might say that, with no knowledge of any of the people involved. But if you listen to a broader scope of Liverpool music from the period you'd know that Wild Swans and Care were their own thing, only coincidentally sounding something like some later OMD songs.

  • Ian Broudie produced a few Liverpool bands records. Lead singer of OMD played on a Lightning Seeds b - side.

  • A new wave iconic piece, hail to you.

  • cool mixecd with the video! I love the Care and the Wild Swans!

  • I'm extremely grateful for the upload of this video. Thank you! Great song...love Ian Broudie.

  • This is pretty good!

  • hahaha...you amaze us with your videos dude....good work....
