  • sorry right but whats the point of running in and out of cones i have never decided to start side stepping towards a player when he is about to take a shot i run towards him. Yes i know its meant to make your footwork better but wouldnt it be better to practice running to the ball than side stepping. And when would a player shoot a weak shot at you from that close? Training should be realistic

  • Technique needs to be worked on, other than that he is a very talented goalkeeper

  • Be careful because your GK is flat feet when catches the ball. Other than that the video is actually really good to work on basics with GK. The GK has a lot of qualities and it would be interesting to see him during game. Where does he play?

  • good job bro

  • oh and also keep elbows in when catching the ball, if those serves were at a good pace you would drop them

  • hands are too straight when catching the ball. you need to have a bend in your arms, acts like a shock absorber. and also head is going back when catching volleys, keep your head forward, so that if you drop it, it goes in front of you and you can recover rather than behind you.

  • great goalkeeper and excellent techniques! however during the exercise at 7:30 i noticed that the keeper after making a save he gets up and turns towards his own goalpost and rushes to make another save on the other corner! i play also as goalkeeper and my coach and every goalkeer i've asked tells me the same thing: never turn your back to the field! even thought it's practise, the goalkeeper will get used to this move and during the match he'll counter difficulty or make fatal mistakes!

  • watch my videos eevery1 daniel perren

  • @ 8:35 he need to keep his knee up to guard him!

  • where is that goalkeeper training?

and what team is on the top your wearing?

  • @ArtsKinG1 This training session was taped at the Scott Gallagher Complex in St. Louis, Missouri. The logo on the top is for the Scott Gallagher Soccer Club.

  • @kwc1010 ahh right i didnt know that. i thought it was close to me and if it was i was going to take it. And do you know is there a goalkeeper training camp near idaho? im going over there for the summer.

  • view and comment my videos

  • feet are way to far apart when catching the ball… but good keeper other than that

  • @invaine lets see how good you are?

And the way your going on about him you must be on a professional team?

  • that grass looks better than my mums carpet

  • KEEPERS GOT GOOD TECHNEQ AND VERY GOOD HANDS!! however HIS FOOTWORK COULD IMPROVE ALOT. ADDING 1 OR 2 MORE STEPS GOING THROUGH EACH CONE WOULD IMPROVE IT ALOT!! ATM HE LIKE HOPPING THROUGH THEM !

  • cool pitch is that in ur back yard??

oh ya never turn ur back on the server (7:35 about)

  • Footwork is ok, but could be better. Keep up the good work.

  • 1st training looks like tapdancing -.-

  • this mo'fucka be jerkin' at the begging of the vid haha

  • q bueno practica de portero en seguir su pais como haces capital todos de habil por un esñanar que estamos suertes

  • fai troppo il figo ahahah

  • keeper needs to arch his back by about

7 degrees more. also if he swivels his hips more by about 23% he will achieve better results.

a recent study in moldova showed that keepers who did this were 78% more liekly to save the ball.

  • Weird dancing! But it's sure good excercise.

  • Your hands are all wrong at the point of delivery, you're taking your elbows backwards to come forwards, keep your hands and elbows still and you'll make more saves and make it easier as well.

  • can you sound anymore pessimistic?

  • Well if you want to hear constructive crticisim sometimes you need to hear things you don't always like. So if you can't handle it.......grow a pair!

  • volleys r really soft nd the catching isnt clean...leaning back on volleys to face is a bad habit cuz if ur leaning back u dive backwards...hold ur ground and absorb the catch wit the arms..not the back.

  • belle video sisi

  • great goalkeeper the cooksey.......patryk

  • footwork in this opening part and 2min in is terrible u need to be shuffling that is going to put u all of balance and isnt match related , his legs are to wide they need to be shoulder width. decent keeper tho about my height i would say im 6'4 he has a gd build as well

  • great training

  • good vid but it semms as the schots were very soft

  • first half of the video: on ground balls you do not bring the ball towards you..you leave your arms stretched out, not good. second half: do not know if it is part of the training but if it wasn't, then i would recommend working on gripping the ball better. most of the balls bounced of your hands..

  • If its sooo easy then you make a video and lets see you do it even professional keepers are not that perfect so criticizing him isn't right this video is great keep up the good work great goalkeeping.

  • Great Training

is it alright i could do this training?

  • Great song that's Foo Fighters - Learn To Fly I love this!

  • boring

  • what is his height?

  • Sam is 6' 3"

  • just wanted to wish you all the best, Sam. I know you will do well wherever you go to school.

    Brian

  • Looks like this is good training, but never turn your back against the shooter. Allways be on your toes. Otherwise, a really good workout.
