mayamorphine, I totally agree. The people my comment was intended for believe it's "evil" so I meant to convey that the symbol is not always used by people doing bad things. Like the swastika, an ancient spiritual symbol that a certain group with bad intentions adopted for their own purpose, superstitious people have come to associate these symbols with evil itself, which is ridiculous because symbols are neutral and are available to express anything of anyone's choosing.

@1320skywalker The association you made in the last sentence of your post is worrysome. Even if they WERE in a pentagram shape, that doesn't mean they're sacrificing anything. Pentacles, petagrams or hexagrams are not inherently evil and don't always stand for the negative aspects of new age religions like Satanism or Devil-worship.

It's a six-pointed star (Sanskrit symbol for the Heart Chakra...Seal of Solomon... Star of David) not a pentagram. But even if it WAS a pentagram...a star with 5 points....so what.  They're playing crystal singing bowls here....not sacrificing bunnies.

@1320skywalker Further, the pentacle is historically one of the most used and sacred of all symbols. Goodness, it is the flow of Venus and the manner of navigation for all ocean going travel since water was invented!

Btw, the so called 'inverted' pentacle would actually be a 'yin' directional (as the upward facing is 'yang' or a projection of a phallus), thus is a symbol here at least, of a uterus. How this became to be associated with 'evil' i have no idea, but seems ridiculous to be sure...

Really enjoy this. Makes perfect sense, except for the lighting. Not to be too critical of such a beautiful thing, but what's with the little rave lights? Just seems a little out of place for such a sacred event, sorta detracts from the seriousness. Also, a little fade on the overall room lighting would give this more impact; perhaps some candles. Maybe I'm too much a producer, but I would really love for this kind of cultural event to have as much impact as possible. I truly enjoyed this.

@MrRiisLarsen I think that "seriousness" is really not important while meditating. You are supposed to feel love and joy and be free of all conventions. Take a look at the Dalai Lama, he looks like he is having a good laugh pretty much always and doesn't care about being serious :)
