As for the backward movement of the head--the neuromuscular reaction is hogwash--that would take 4-5 frames to start. What really happens is this--a bullet passing through tissue produces a shock wave--tremendous momentary expansion. This expansion leads to the brain material escaping from the largest hole (the exit wound), creating a rocket effect. Newton's third law--For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

@TheIpadkiller Yes, there will be a 3rd law reaction force due to material (cerebral fluid etc) leaving the exit wound, a result of the pressure due to the shock wave caused by the supersonic bullet.

@iKnowWhoIamWhoRu Most of the momentum of the bullet is NOT imparted to the head since the BULLET GOES STRAIGHT THROUGH WITHOUT BEING STOPPED. The neck muscle spasm pushes the head back with a much GREATER force than the trivial imparted momentum from the bullet.

@DCUPtoejuice I agree 100% with you on this I have watched about 100 of the same 223-410 frame slides trying to grasp my head around it. And who in the hell knew already that it was Oswald in the first place they even said he was hidden so therefore how did the cops or CIA or FBI already have his description. I mean we are talking 1963 and not 2012. Found him at the movies because he didn't pay for his 75 cent ticket and by description alone they arrested him? hmmm
