I did like the mk3 stryker before they made him look all stupid. As we have seen in the movies and storylines, anything really goes as far as mortal kombat is concerned. But 2 leg motaro is just unacceptable. Taven and Daegon would have dodged my list if it wasn't for how generic they were. Rain i don't mind, but they made him SO whiny. and then dairou...why?

Yeah I hate Stryker, because up until he appeared I assumed that the even though Mortal Kombat involved fights to the death, there were still some sort of rules involved. If Stryker is allowed to use a gun well, like Yahtzee said in his review of MK2011, What's to stop him from showing up in a f*iing harrier and carpet bombing the place?

@spideykoonrulz And yet they still kept up the pretense of a tournament for some strange reason; and that still doesn't explain his inclusion in MK9 where there definitely is a tournament going on and yet he still gets to use his gun. As Yahtzee said, what's to stop him (Yahtzee) from showing up in a fucking Harrier and carpet bombing the place? And yeah I realize it's a game, but even a game needs to make some kind of sense.

What the fuck is stopping raiden from just making a thunder storm? it's a game.

@spideykoonrulz Yes, a game does have to make sense even if it's only with in it's own terms. It's called willing suspension of disbelief and mine goes right out the window the moment guns are brought into a primarily martial arts based franchise.

@spideykoonrulz No, my opinion is that the character seems out of place in a primarily melee/martial arts based franchise. I'm fully aware that when he was first introduced the whole tournament thing had been pretty much cashed in and Shao Kahn had pretty much said "Screw the rules, I have green hair." ...or rather a skull on my head. But that doesn't mean he fits in with the other characters.

The problem I have with this is not the list itself but the "humor" he uses to state his argument. This is a big problem with a lot of gaming sites who try to do "funny" features. I don't see what's so funny when the punchline consists of basically saying "Hey! Look at this! I think this is stupid! You think this is stupid? I sure do!"

For my opinion, WROST characters are most from MK:DA excluding Drahmin and Nitara, and MK:D exculing Hotaru, Dairou and Havik. At least those are the more originals characters from the new Mortal Kombat games.
