its totally slipping like bad and you're only 19000 miles on it....too much abuse on the clutch. clutch tends to last longer depending on the driving..thats how you can estimate the life of the clutch
did you get it when it was brand new? it has low miles so im amusing so, did you ever dump the clutch within 1000 miles? doing that without giving the clutch a break in time along with the motor will basically kill the clutch very soon. i dumped my clutch after right after i replaced it without thinking and it was dead in like less then 2 months
same thing happened to my clutch after a track day, except it didn't slip that badly...it was just really really spongey haha. It was never the same after that but its still holding. OEM clutches overheat very quickly. Time to replace yours it looks like.
RPM shoots up when clutch slippping time to replace the clutch and you flywheel ( you should have dualmass flywheel. change it to solid single mass flywheel.
yeah mate its the clutch slipping it depends how you use the clutch when your pulling off ,, must be doing something bad for it to go at this early milage
If it's a manual transmission, you need a new clutch plate and your flywheel resurfaced or just get a new one. It you have an automatic, the torque converter seems like your problem.
Slip is defined as; an increase in engine speed (RPM) without a corresponding increase in road speed. So yeah, what "groh1234" said, in so many words. Hope that helps.
@SJS28SJS 197 actually 6.3 0-60. lmao. g35 owners think theyre the shit. you know a car has pedigree when it comes standard in automatic. civic si's never came in auto. bitch. go get ur facts straight and youll learn that most g35 drivers are middle aged women.
@WislaKrakow24 well i tell ya, those infinitis can hit 13s stock and will last quite a while. id own an awd g35 over any civic (besides a 92 crx) any day
Thats what you get you dumb ass, and yes your transmition is slipping because every chance you get your florring it. Your a fucking fag, ya u just tore that shit up. i take care of mine i dont go around gouging on my gas pedal.
@dakotabark another white boy that says "nigga" haha what're you gonna do kid? come through my ethernet cord and beat me up? nice dance video you faggot
@dakotabark lmao your not supposed to even floor the car for the first 2,000 miles. and i can floor my honda all i want and itll last 200k miles. faggot. and i dont see how my comment makes me a bitch. your just some dumb faggot defending his datsun
@WislaKrakow24 Wow you're a dumb ass. The clutch is fucked and that has nothing to do with the car. It has to do with the clutch. Clutches go out regardless of how good the car is. And 200K is around half the life of a good Honda so if your car lasts that long then you fucked it up. Also if you floor it in a new car with a manual the clutch will inevitably go out or be damaged. Idiots like you do it all the time.
@PIchillin456 reread my comment fucktard. i clearly said your NOT supposed to. so why would i? i rarely go over 4k rpm in a car that goes to 8200. so stfu and dont try to teach me how to drive my car. go ride ur bike faggot
@PIchillin456 my argument is you dont know shit about cars since you bought one in the first place. everyone know vw is bullshit, and you were stupid enough to buy it.
@WislaKrakow24 you basically said that you could floor it anyways within the first 2,000 miles and it would still last 200K or at least that's what it sounded like. Be more clear about what the fuck you're saying. I know more about cars than you do. I'm a tech on the side. And if you want me to be honest it wasn't the car that was shit. It was the dealership who installed 2 transmissions wrong causing it them both to go bad. I had to sell it. You bought into the bullshit. Not all VWs are shit.
You cant install a transmission "wrong" they have pilot holes to the bell housing. If anything it's the clutch/pressure plate that was installed wrong, but due to hydraulic throw out bearings today, it's nearly impossible to fuck anything up. Premature clutch failure in the day was due to mis adjusted to's because they were manual and manually adjusted. You're wrong, or please explain.
@undercoverLsX I wasn't really clear as to what I meant. They neglected to install an important part, an engine mount bolt, which eventually caused the motor and transmission to swing back and forth, causing the seal between the engine and the transmission to fail, causing it to leak gear oil, which then caused aluminum gears to destroy themselves. Oh and then a hole the size of a pringles chip top conveniently appeared in the side of my transmission just after an oil change and it died again.
@weebl15 well, you can tell this guy doesnt take care of his car by all the lights popping off on his dash. so no doubt he drives that thing super hard
@weebl15 only means he doesn't know how to drive it. You can destroy a clutch in a day if you tried hard enough. Smell is just so alluring everyone should do it. maybe putting a clutch in will get it into his head that you gotta drive smarter, don't let the clutch slip as much when you take off and for Christ sake don't let it rev like that when it starts slipping lift off of the throttle, unless you want to put a flywheel on too.
definatly slipping clutch. Either replace the clutch plate or while your in there just the whole thing. Clutch plate, pressure plate and release bearing. That will fix it for sure!!
nothing should be wrong with this car at 19,000 miles man, in all honesty alot of the stuff should just be gettting broken in...you must have really been abusive to this thing..tisk tisk time to pay up
hmm looks like either a clutch problem or transmission problem... @ 19k miles! What the hell did you do to it? The G35 should be able to take some abuse...
You put about 100k miles of damage on it in 19k miles?
haha 19000 miles and already time for expensive repairs? wow dumbass doesnt give a shit about the car just pushes it to the limit and it fucks up, ur an idiot man
@hayesgb: dumbfuck, I was referring to fluid getting on the clutch disc and "contaminating" the dry surface. If leaking tranny or engine seal or even a leaky slave cyl(if internally mounted) gets fluid on the clutch, then it's game over.
Running a car down the strip, with proper clutch and tranny usage is not bonehead driving. Excessively slipping a clutch is bonehead. Read what david11 said about 10 comments ago.
wantapgt you're an idiot, the information about you "ripping" on your american p.o.s. would be considered as bonehead driving... So you failed on that point, and fluid contamination??? Transmissions have no fluid in them... There's GEAR oil for the synchro's but it's dry where the clutch/flywheels go. Learn something about cars before you put in your .02 cents
I rip on my lightly modded 2007 mustang GT all the time and have around 50 passes down the strip on the stock clutch. After 45,000 miles it still chirps third. No reasons other than absolute bonehead driving or fluid contamination would cause a clutch to slip at such low miles. Learn to operate a clutch without slipping it.
yo you need to get a ood brand street clutch bro i smoked a oem mitsubishi evo 9 clutch the somebody install a f1 stage 3 clutch wich i smoked too ..now i am goin to an act or exedy stage 2 organic but hass to be street disc
my stock toyota clutch has gone through alot of 1/4 track time, has 243k miles and still going barley starting to slip, i dont wanna risk it so im gonna change it in the next week
Clutch is slipping and your tire-pressure is low (indicator on the left).
If you drive the car aggressively or dont shift well, your clutch can and will wear off. I've had to replace mine when I had 9k miles on it for driving like a mad man too often.
learn how to drive first ive seen ppl push there cars hard and still not have problems for a long time or at least 80k your saying at 9 k lol some ones riding the clutch.
do some research before you foolishly come and type things that are wrong.
To drive around a track, you need a special permit which can only be obtained by some sort of racing school. After the racing driver lessons, your tutor decides if it is safe for you and for others around you to race.
Clearly, I know how to drive, or I would not have this license. Now get back to Need For Speed, because that is all you know about driving.
u fail at life why if knowing that this will happen u still take your car to the track stock. stfu get off the computer you fuckin 17 your old pussy now u got a license lol lets look at something u said in a earlier comment . If you drive the car aggressively or dont shift well, your clutch can and will wear off hmm someone must know alot about not shifting well.

Also, where is your car?
mawk27 1 year ago
Obvious clutch slipping due to poor driving skills. At 19k miles u shouldn't even be worrying about the clutch or any part of the car.

i don't even drive a manual, and i know this is a slipping clutch. why would you need a video to know what's wrong with it?
coolerdude44 1 year ago
And last I checked, Oil is a Fluid :) Dumbfuck.
wantapgt 1 year ago
@hayesgb: dumbfuck, I was referring to fluid getting on the clutch disc and "contaminating" the dry surface. If leaking tranny or engine seal or even a leaky slave cyl(if internally mounted) gets fluid on the clutch, then it's game over.
Running a car down the strip, with proper clutch and tranny usage is not bonehead driving. Excessively slipping a clutch is bonehead. Read what david11 said about 10 comments ago.
wantapgt 1 year ago
yeah its realy sliping it shouldnt do that unless its broke or somethings wrong.
djwishy08 2 years ago
yep slipping
been doing a lotta downshifts at the track without heel and toe?
sunnyjason 2 years ago
wantapgt you're an idiot, the information about you "ripping" on your american p.o.s. would be considered as bonehead driving...

I had the EXACT same problem. It turns out my clutch was slipping. Good luck with yours!
enigmaa17 2 years ago
Clutch is slipping and your tire-pressure is low (indicator on the left).
If you drive the car aggressively or dont shift well, your clutch can and will wear off. I've had to replace mine when I had 9k miles on it for driving like a mad man too often.
demonwares 2 years ago
its not having to stop driving like a mad man its learning how to drive lol 9k are u forreal thats fucked up lol
david11wasicek 2 years ago
drive OEM on track sometime and tell me how often you replace brake pads and clutch
demonwares 2 years ago
learn how to drive first ive seen ppl push there cars hard and still not have problems for a long time or at least 80k your saying at 9 k lol some ones riding the clutch.
david11wasicek 2 years ago
do some research before you foolishly come and type things that are wrong.
To drive around a track, you need a special permit which can only be obtained by some sort of racing school. After the racing driver lessons, your tutor decides if it is safe for you and for others around you to race.
Clearly, I know how to drive, or I would not have this license. Now get back to Need For Speed, because that is all you know about driving.
demonwares 2 years ago
u fail at life why if knowing that this will happen u still take your car to the track stock. stfu get off the computer you fuckin 17 your old pussy now u got a license lol lets look at something u said in a earlier comment . If you drive the car aggressively or dont shift well, your clutch can and will wear off hmm someone must know alot about not shifting well.
david11wasicek 2 years ago
the tranny moves the car. the clutch is the problem.

yari718 2 years ago
Not necessarily.. If your clutch has life, you can just get it resurfaced :)
HERodriguezJr 2 years ago
Low tire pressure might be the cause....
Seriously though it is the clutch.
gmgunner 2 years ago
Yes... it's the clutch...
Keep off the track with an OEM clutch, and you'll be just fine!
