  • Thanks for the lovely comments.

I have loads of pictorial tutorials on my Blog. How I add colour to both acrylic and UV gel product...... Fimo cane tutorials.... all kinds fun. Head on over to wwwDOTmakeitwithmeDOTca and join up.

  • Paint Brush is just straight to the topic ...!!!

  • do you prefer using the gold nail forms or tips better...and why? Ive seen nails been done both ways but still unsure which is easier/more practical... :) ps - Great vid xx

  • @pixijasmine

Hey there. I really like both. It depends on what I'm doing. If I'm making a shaped nail like a stiletto I tend to use the forms (gold things) If I'm just doing a fast plain pair of extensions I'll use the pre made glue on tips. I think the nail forms might be a bit more time consuming but they let me be a bit more creative. Thanks for the compliment and thanks for asking.

  • @kellmowat Ah! well, that makes sense...I guess I would just have to try both ways and see which works best for me & what I want to do....Thank yous! xx

  • It does thank you

  • What is that gold thing??????

  • @2201chloe . I think you're asking about the gold nail form, Nail forms are used to hold the shape of the acrylic liquid and powder or gel until they set. After the product cures or hardens the form is removed and thrown away. They're a little foil sticker that the nail building products don't stick to. Hope that answers your question.

  • Why are the nails soooo pointy?

  • @bezuchan

Simple answer to your question is, I like them pointy. It's just a personal choice. Some folks like them square, some like almond shaped nails and some like scoops or flared nails. I acknowledge that the stiletto nail shape isn't for everyone, it just happens to be my cup of tea.

    Thanks for asking!

  • are the martha stewart glitters expensive?

  • @simplicityx0

I think it depends where and when you buy them. On sale at Michael's they're very reasonable. I got a kit of 12 colours for under $25.00.

  • can i ask u a ? im trying 2 do those nails and buy a kit whats that pointy thing on ur nails to help u do them ty btw i luv ur nails!!lol

  • @nailmaster101

They are called square nail forms. I got them from Nail De Royale.

  • @kellmowat ty :D

  • hi,

do you need a primer for your nail bed? will acrylic damage your nails? how do you get the acrylic off? thanks for responding :)

  • @Kelz06081984

    Hello right back atcha.

I did use a primer. I like to keep the primer brand the same as the other products I'm using. Too many products and brands can conflict chemically. I believe that when a good product is applied acording to manufacturers instructions it shouldn't harm your natura nail. I think that removal is where the harm comes from. Most people tear the nails off causing real damage. I carefully file the acrylics off. It's a long and boring process.

  • @kellmowat hey, thanks so much for the valuable information :)

  • Hello cristina3031

I work in a bunch of different mediums and usually use whatever brush is closest to me at the time. This day I picked up what looks like a Heinz Jordan series 690 script brush. It's not meant to go in solvents and I was suprised at how it stood up in the monomer. Most of my brushes are Heinz Jordan brushes. They last for ages and they make tons of different brushes. You should be able to google them and find someone close to you who retails. Good luck! :)

  • what size of brush you are using?????its very long where can i buy it and whats the name of it??????

  • @Shreen94 They are called square nail forms. I got them from Nail De Royale.

  • I like how you made the shaping of the tips optional from the beginning. The design is really cute

  • Thanks a bunch @bettyspaghetti422

I really like to wear and like the look of stiletto nails but realize that I'm in the minority. I'll post more videos if you folks let me know what kind of designs you want to see.
