  • very interesting thanks

  • "Make your case or shut the fuck up." EXACTLY! Atheism is the default position. Prove your beliefs are the beliefs I should have or eat shit and die. LOL!

  • I can't be mad at God any more than I can be mad at Voldemort. Neither exist, so how could I be mad at either? However, I am frustrated by the fact that so many people revere the atrocities in their "holy" book out of obedience to a deity whose existence they can't even demonstrate.

  • No atheist is mad at a fictional god folks!! However, many of us are quite mad at this fictional god's followers!!

  • Why are atheists mad at god? Do you believe in Santa? Probably not. Are you mad at Santa? Probably not.

How can you be mad at something you don't think exists?

  • Question: What Made You So Mad At God?

Answer: A significant number of his followers...

('cause I don't believe God exists, same as Fenrir or Seth so it's stupid to be mad at fictional characters, no matter how unpleasant they are)

  • people should have the right to believe what they want, its part of being a free person. I dont believe people should be punished just because they are religious. I believe everyone has the right to their own opinion.

  • @123456789103288 Tell that to the people who say that everyone who doesnt buy into their blind faith are worthy of infinite torture.

  • @123456789103288

Okay now repeat what you said vice-versa.

Why is it that Christians believe non-Christians go to hell?

  • @123456789103288 Problem is when peoples' religious opinions pervade our lawmaking system. When that happens, no, people may not believe what they damn well please, because it causes laws that people wit different beliefs have to life by.

Like every asshole opposing gay marriage because of Christianity.

  • @123456789103288 With* and live*. keyboard issues.

  • It's always impressive how Matt can keep his cool when he listens to this rubbish being said over and over again. And also cathartic to hear him vent about it.

  • what made me angry at god? the people who invented god and claim to speak for him, telling me how bad a person i am, how i should live my life, and why i should be afraid.

  • That last line... freeking awesome!

  • I personally think these guys came a long way from hosting this show from their couch lol

  • religious people arent human anymore. They are subhuman and need to be euthanized

  • @699backstab If you honestly think that you need to be shoved in a padded room and have the crazy beaten out of you.

  • @699backstab Dude, not cool.

  • Hahahahahahahaha.... Exactly

  • I think it has to be said... What started me questioning whether God was real or not was I had some horrible things happen to me and when I asked God why and never got a satisfactory answer I started to question why God, who proclaimed his love for me, would essentially allow me to be tortured and possibly even be the reason I was tortured. This led me on a quest to understand my beliefs which inevitably led me to lose faith. Long story short I realized I didn't have enough evidence to believe

  • @TheScottism101 most people dont seem capable of thinking it through like you did

  • Matt sticks his foot up the ass of the jesusprick. Attaboy! Do it to them!

  • Hell yea! Matt's at his best when he doesn't hold back and tells those dumbass christians whats up

  • ZOMG! True Blood song! :D

I wanna do bad things with you!

  • did he died?

  • Always nice to see Matt go off on one of his rants. Those are the best parts of any show.

  • @dbzman1985 hilarious

  • love don's laughter =)

  • True Blood was drawn when such a detrimental statement was uttered by some mundane asshat.

  • HOW DARE YOU

  • People assume you're angry with GOD based on your physical appearance.

  • FFree Thinker, Can you explain rationally, defensively, actively and eagerly to discuss, your theories on how everything came into existence?

  • @EGMAG,

You didn't ask me, but I'll answer it. From my (admittedly limited because I'm not a scientist) understanding of science, I think that since energy and matter cannot be created or destroyed, the universe has always been in existence in some form or other. If you mean specifically life on earth, everything evolved over a very very very long time from single-celled organisms.

  • @dmnemaine energy and matter cannot be created or destroyed, <<

That is a textbook theoretical presumption based on scientific knowledge up to now! Like many things in science it has not been disproved yet. However there is the theory of total annihilation. The unsolved mystery of evolution is what created the first origin that instituted the infinite universe. The ancients and the new order of today call it God! You call it infinite undirected energy and matter. You have a valid explanation?

  • @EGMAG,

The theory of evolution is NOT about the origin of life. That's abiogenesis. Evolution is only about how existing life changes over time. So the origing of life is not a "mystery of evolution". It has nothing to do with it.

  • @dmnemaine NOT about the origin <

Then you are only scratching the surface of evolution and logical scientific and theological deductions along the lines of evolution. The deeper you follow the evolutionary links, the more you must direct one's thinking to the question of an absolute origin. It has everything to do with evolution. It is past, present and future, that incorporates what you call abiogenesis into the entire realm of evolution. Just another intellectual curve that throws some off.

  • @EGMAG,

Evolution has nothing to do with the origin of life. It is about how life developed over a very long period of time through natural selection. The theory of evolution says nothing about how that life began. You can't condemn evolution as false until you actually understand what it is, and what it claims. The origin of life on earth is a whole different field of study. The origin of the universe is a whole different field even from that. (cont.)

  • @EGMAG,

The best explanation for how life began that we have right now is abiogenesis. The best explanation for how the universe began is the Big Bang Theory. There are still unanswered questions about both. That does not, however, insinuate that because we don't know all the answers, that a god is the default. The correct answer is "I don't know, but we're looking at the possibilities", not "There's not an answer, so God did it".

  • @dmnemaine Big Bang Theory.<<

You forget that Pre-BB evolved the Big Bang, and contained all the formative elements needed for "abiogenesis", in that order. So that is why I link them as one continual building process on the evolutionary field of science and theoretical theologies. You just can't separate the connected processes; unless your studying evolution as subjective specialty groupings, as in medicine,

  • @EGMAG "You forget that Pre-BB evolved the Big Bang, and contained all the formative elements needed for "abiogenesis"

big bang says it was only matter and anti matter, how they got here is beyond us, however, there are some well put together theories on the origin of this universe, like the one that says every trillion years the universe reorganizes itself (things stop expanding and come together again) and then creates a new one, this is supported by LOTS of evidence.

  • @halflifefan84 how they got here is beyond us, every trillion years the universe reorganizes <<

All that you write there, is elementary compared to the origin of all. Eventually you realize that Newtonian laws and Einsteinian laws support the way this evolutionary universe is, continues to exist, and how it came into being; those attributes can only exist from an origin of singular intelligence. There is just no other way!

  • @EGMAG "those attributes can only exist from an origin of singular intelligence. There is just no other way!" if it's so obvious, why are you dancing around? IF it was so damn obvious, you wouldn't have to say "there is no other way!" you would actually give a reason why it's so obvious, and just because we don't know the answer now doesn't mean you can make one up, and the only justification for your claim is that "there's just no other way!" Sorry, that doesn't work.

  • @halflifefan84 origin singular intelligence no other way <<

It is not justified to say you "know" there is no singular intelligence; because that is a belief and not known for certain. When you study logic, science, physics, theology, sociology, anthropology and more; one comes to the conclusion that "there is no other way!"

You do know there exists throughout human history such evils that are unbearably horrible. Do you think they go unpunished, and are thus rewarded by their own evil gains?

  • Who's mad at a pretend figure? I know the truth now.

  • Don laughs too much. It's annoying.

  • @sptfgpn Yea it somehow seems unauthentic and out of place often times, which makes it a tad annoying. But I try not to get annoyed with people in general for being happy so whatchugonnado..

  • @Minkki82 Point taken. He seems like a nice bloke, despite that unfortunate habit.

  • @Minkki82

What is so horrible about telling people to love one another, don't steal and murder etc.?

  • @EGMAG I have no idea why you're asking me that and I'd guess nobody thinks that's horrible

  • @Minkki82

Well I'd like to ask FFree Thinker; as he seems to think there is no God and therefore no such thing as sin.

The bases for religion is to group people into states of goodness with morale precepts guided by eradicating sin. Atheism has no such guidelines that call evil sin; however their are good atheists and bad atheists. What code of good conduct can an atheist follow when they claim there is no God or sin.

  • @EGMAG Its pretty damn simple. How would I feel if such action were applied to me. Either I'd feel okay with it or it would suck. Therefore, applying the most basic level of empathy, I can conclude that others like me (humans) would not appreciate such action.

  • @Minkki82

Don't you know God has death awaiting every living thing that exists?

  • @Minkki82

Not only death awaits every living thing; I promise you that pain and suffering precedes the death of every living thing. The smart thing to do is to work to alleviate all the pain and suffering we possibly can in this lifetime, so that all life will benefit from each other, and also subsequent future life. 3 Questions. Don't you all know this? If you do know all this, then why do you think this is emotionally necessary? Is this all an act of God?

  • Of all the endless number of AE episodes that i've watched, I can't believe i never came across this fine piece of Matt Slapping before! LOVE IT!

  • THE "bible" is the worlds best fictinal novel. if you dissagree, E-mail me and I'll

put my foot in your ass!!!

  • This just reminded me that one time someone asked Howard Stern on his radio show what does he have against God. Howard screamed 'what do I have against God? Look at my face!'.

  • Is that an Aussie reading the question?

  • ExposingChristianitydotcom

  • Awesome!...lol

  • When did Moohammad get a bro?

  • Cool, True Blood intro! lol

  • I love Don's laugh, haha

  • Ok this has to be the best atheist experience vid on friggin youtube! lol

  • Yes, they are hiding behind something that God does not approve of! Gay? Ask any convict why they HATE the police. BECAUSE they did something the law did not like! Just like the atheists!! They screwed up their life. Now they demand to screw up their afterlife??? Not too bright if you ask me.

  • @MrTimberone I hope your being sarcastic :3 If not, you've completely missed what their side of argument is, you just made a fool of yourself. If you are bright at all, the blinders around your eyes have constricted your focus. GET 'YER HEAD OUTTA YOUR ASS, BOY :D

  • Im baffled at the complete, and i mean COMPLETE, lack of logical, or even slightly intelligent questions and excuses that religious people give. I just watched Mahers Religulous film and although i didnt find it as good as i hoped, one thing i did notice. Of all the people interviewed in that documentary, the only ones who even attempted to make any sense at all were at the Vatican. The "capital" of religion tries to think logically, the rest of the holy world.... total imbeciles. Why?

  • @JabberCT I forgot about Icke being near the Vatican in that movie. Hes a nut lol. The other 2, Foster and the Astronomer, is who i meant.

  • I want a cookie...

    But I'm not a baby!

  • LOL wildcard120. If there is a greater being. Its definatly NOT one we silly humans made up.

    LOL

  • Do not be so angry Matt. Sometimes we do put our foot in our mouths. As far as believing and not proving, Great Commission tells up to preach the Gospel, not to really put an emphasis on proving it. I have never seen God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost but I have faith that they exist. Not only through the Word but through personal experience. Keep watching!

  • @Wildcard120 You forgot to thank God the hypocrit

  • I love matt...he's so logical. He has all the greatest answers and replys to this lunacy, religion.

  • I was told that I needed a 'personal relationship' with Jesus. I agree to have a 'personal relationship' right? I never heard a damn word. He let me suffer one mishap after another, he protects me from nothing. Sad commentary for someone who is all powerful and supposedly loves me yet refuses even my smallest prayers. If you prayed to me and asked for five dollars so you could buy some food, I'd grant your prayer. If I'm your friend I talk to you and protect you. What's the deal Jesus?

  • Fags.. How bout i put my foot up you condescending ass? fuck you. Christians aren't fucking pussies like your saying they are. and yes we have concern cause we don't want you guys burning in hell when you can convert to Christianity and go to heaven

  • Comment removed

  • @thejumpman11

There are 4,600 different religions, are you sure you picked the right one.

  • @Azoic101 yeah im pretty sure i did

  • @thejumpman11

Well if you have not study all of them and just picked the one that you were raised in than how can you tell me you picked the right one,if your answer is faith then this little debate is over.

  • @Azoic101 uhm i dont need to do research.. and yes i was raised a christian and i know i picked the right one, not just cause i was raised but because i know. and yes by faith because that is what religion is...

  • @thejumpman11 You can't KNOW anything by faith. Faith just gives you the ability to SAY you know, when everyone else knows you really don't know. If anyone claims to know something they really don't know, then they deserve to be ridiculed.

  • @ninjajesus81 you cant know EVERYTHING from science. no one can, and you cant try to act like you know when you dont

  • @thejumpman11 Hey don't take issue with me for pointing out your own scripture. Why are Christians so uncomfortable with the teachings of Jesus? Now go sell your possessions like Jesus commanded.

  • @ketsan wow.. dude im not a pussy and neither are the other christians. we arent uncomfortable with jesus' teaching. jesus didnt command that he saying its better to live a life with God than live a life with selfish needs

  • @thejumpman11 I know you're not pussies but you should be, If I knock a Christian flat on his ass the Christian should bless me and pray for me and do good to me. "sell everything you own and give it to the poor so that you'll have treasure in heaven, and come follow me" He only tells like three people the same thing. "Follow Jewish law, sell everything; hate your family and leave them to follow me."

  • @ketsan thats really not what he means. it means that you shouldnt focus only on earthly things

  • @thejumpman11 How do you know that's not what he meant. I mean this is God incarnate we're talking about. Are you saying God needs humans to translate what he says into what he means? It sure does sound like it. Personally I trust God, if he says "Sell everything" I assume he means "Sell everything"

  • @ketsan have you not heard of a parable? jesus used stories to tell people about forgiveness and the way to enter heaven in these stories. i didnt mean to say he didnt mean it in that way i meant to say that he used these words to get it across to other people.

  • @thejumpman11 This isn't a parable though. This is a recorded conversation. The guy is looking for practical advide on getting into heaven and Jesus says "You know the law?" and the guy says that he does and Jesus lays it out plainly "Follow the law and sell everything you own." There's no parable here; he's not telling a story.

  • @thejumpman11 Sure jesus said be nice to every one, but GOD said kill those that dont believe in me and my son, slay them all dont spare the children. so who is right the father or the son? cuz one of them must be right dont they?

  • @MasterOfFlash92 when? i havent seen a single bible verse that God said to kill everyone. and God and Jesus are both God, jesus was sent in a human figure but was still God.

  • @thejumpman11 aah so Jesus and God are the same person, so is god mentally insane? cuz if they are the same then god is basically contradicting him self!

Kill Homosexuals: If a man lies with a male as with a women, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have forfeited their lives. Leviticus 20:13 NAB

Death for Cursing Parents: If one curses his father or mother, his lamp will go out at the coming of darkness. Proverbs 20:20 NAB

Those are just two of many!

  • @MasterOfFlash92 jesus is God, and God cant be insane. its not saying that people should kill homosexuals it means that homosexuality is a sin and they can go to hell for this. the 2nd one doesnt even mean something bad, its saying that you need to respect your mother and father like the comandment

  • @thejumpman11 Go here if you want some more of them :)

    evilbible. com/Murder

  • @MasterOfFlash92 the bible is not evil and does not have anything portraying to God and Jesus saying anything evil, it might sound bad but people dont realize what it means and how God means it. im done with this debaits

  • @thejumpman11 w8..so killing millions of ppl is not bad if its god doing it? yeah makes sense...stupid fuck tard

  • @MasterOfFlash92 - you need to add ".htm" after that URL. Good one, though, I didn' t know about that web site.

  • @LaVraiVerite true true! missed that :P

  • @thejumpman11 See the curious thing, as an atheist, is how much of what Jesus says is apparently not what Jesus meant to say. You can pick any part of the bible and show it to a xian and they always say "Well what Jesus meant to say was........" Preachers read the sermon on the mount to congrations including the bit that says "DO NOT PRAY IN PUBLIC" and then leads the congregation in public prayer. Whats that all about?

  • @ketsan its not that he meant to say something else, its just that he said it in this way that cant be interprit in another way, the way he intended it to be. and its religion, we pray. this country has the freedom of religion so we can pray where we want

  • @thejumpman11 You don't know that science can't explain everything. That's your assumption. You don't want science to explain everything, because that gets rid of the few strings still holding you to your faith.

What did I act like I know that I don't?

  • @thejumpman11 So the millions of people who picked another religion picked the wrong one?

  • @Sweddude other than catholism, jewish, and others that connect to christianity; yeah in my mind and others, but for them they believe theyre right cause its their religion and they choose to believe in that

  • @thejumpman11 And wheres your proof that yourse right? what evidence do you give that the others dont?

  • @Sweddude umm millions of people have told their personal stories and stories of others personal experinces with God.. even athiests, i mean if theres more than 100 people saying that theyve had an expierence with God that there has to be a God

  • @thejumpman11 Over 10 thousand people have claimed to have see a UFO, do you belive in UFO?

And how many indians claim to have a bond with Ganesh or Sheeva?

And once upon a time over one million people thought the earth was flat.

Something moving around inside someones head doesent make it true.

During medival times 80% of the scandinavians swore dead that they had seen a house gnome in the flesh.

  • @Sweddude Are you seriously telling me you don't believe in house gnomes?

  • @Sweddude #1 not really. #2 im not sure, it was their belief. #3 no one had traveled that far at that time to discover it wasnt flat. #4 it does pretty much #5 they probably saw a dwarf, during that time it wasnt common to see a dwarf

  • @Sweddude Without doubt, one of the factors in the emergence of anti-religious ideas and a phalanx of deniers of God, has been the false teachings, the inadequacies and the intellectual perversions of the followers of some religions. The peculiarities and separate characteristics of each religion must, therefore, be individually examined when studying the reasons that have led men to adhere to that religion.

  • A co-worker once told me I'd be a born-again believer when I get older. Ugh, I'm 31-years old. I already grew out of believing in fairy tales, how can I possibly regress as I mature as time goes on?

  • Satanism? Do you really think that someone who doesn't believe in god DOES believe in hell? One superstitious belief to justify another, boy that sure sounds logical.

  • I was once told that God answers all prayers. It's just that the answer is usually "No".

    Eg:

Dear God please get my family and me out of this death camp.

    Answer: "No".

Dear God please get my family out of this death camp.

    Answer: "No".

Dear God please get just my child out of this death camp.

    Answer: "No".

Now I realise that that is not proof of non-existence but it does prove that if it does exist you certainly can't rely on it.

  • To respond to the question of what made me so mad at God, perhaps I should respond with asking them what made them so mad at reality.

  • @Nails077 Nice! Thank you, I'll start using that comeback. :)

  • @Nails077: lol...awesome response! ha ha.

  • @Nails077 HAHAHAH good one! (and I´m a christian)

  • @Nails077 LoL what made you so mad at reality? That's a good one.

  • @Nails077 its because science and evidence of reality shows theres no need for god in the schools or to govern society, but they want to sneak that shit back in so thats why they hate reality

  • Christianity= order :(

  • Two separate men in two different cities were preaching to me about god so I told them I was atheist. They both responded identically, "You don't have to hate god! He loves you!" I explained I don't believe a god exists, just like I don't believe in leprechauns and for the same reason. They BOTH threw up their hands and walked away. So funny. They both thought being atheist meant I hate god.

  • Two separate men in two different cities were preaching to me about god so I told them I was atheist. They both responded identically, "You don't have to hate god! He loves you!" • As I read on a t-shirt, "It's not God I'm worried about, it's his fan club! "

  • that some great shit right there!!!!lmao....so true so true.....ppl always thinking their better than the next guy...how ignorant ppl are to assume their right and your wrong....unless there is hard proof that what you believe is real....SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!

  • YES!! THANKYOU MATT, lol MATE!! lol

  • i wonder what they think about polygamy

  • @neoarcadezr polygamy is having one too many wives, monogamy is the same..Oscar Wilde.

  • @spareaxe neither is right

  • I used to be surprised at the stupidity of people calling in to this show. After working at a call center I'm less surprised.

  • Comment removed

  • Don always grins when Matt starts ranting. I think he enjoys the rants more than mot of us fans do. xD

  • How can a person be angry at god? How can you hate something that does not exist? How do you hate Santa Clause? How do you hate Unicorns? How can you have a racist hatred against Leprechauns? You cannot hate god because something needs to exist to be hated.

  • the true blood intro on HBO, pretty good show

  • i love the look on Don's face when Matt starts ranting!!!

  • God Exist!!!! Repent now!!!!

  • @Jobeliano1 Oh that proved it. Now I believe. Thank you.

  • @Jobeliano1 you just commanded God to exist! good for you.

  • Darn! I'd like to hear the callers respons...

  • Matt's first reply sounded like it took a lot of inspiration from Jeff Dee. That is until he said "Either make your case or shut the fuck up."

  • hehehehe O_O

  • These guys b owning god like he's not gonna do shit 2 them. My Dad might b atheist bc he said he prayed 4 something as a child and didn't get it so he doesn't know if he believes in god. With me i used 2 believe in him but these last few years have been shaky 4 me. So idk. 4 some reason I keep feeling that it's bad 2 b an atheist.

  • @Spectonimous

its the brain washing guilt that religion has made you have. the first step getting away from something is usually the hardest. but you will lose that guilt, and you will start seeing life with new eyes. it will be forever changed.

  • @Spectonimous

    Easy Experiment:

    1) Pray for God to reveal himself to you.

    2) Nothing happens.

    3) God is revealed. Atheism wins.

  • OMFG!!

    F = fictional.

(Common Condescending remark at 2mins and 37.)

I really don’t want you to burn in hell forever.

(And the best response EVER at 2mins and 40!)

Then maybe you shouldn’t be worshiping a prick that would do that!

    LMFAO!!!

    F = fucking.

Mat tells it like it is!

  • rofl i didnt know they could say prick and fuck on their show!

  • @rebelsouljaz god bless america.

  • @rebelsouljaz prick is not cursing and they are on cable

  • I want chibi plushies of Matt, T-f00t and AronRa. I need something to hug when i watch these videos.

  • @KachuaOnWoW thats not creepy at all

  • @kokofan50

I'm a girl barely out of my teens; I'm still allowed to want to hug something small, inanimate, plush, cute and stuffed when I'm happy.

  • @KachuaOnWoW it still sounds stokerish but what ever your tast its better than creastionist

  • Do not forget Jeff. ;)

  • this video= no substantiative reasoning, biased "philosophizing," and propoganda. But matts point about being a good representative of your beliefs is an excellent one. And it is one that EVERYONE should learn.

  • haha, nice job Matt, pwned him

  • dayum Matt, lmao.

  • I dont think that they look like they are suffering they look pretty damn happy..... I feel great!

  • "Nothin! Nothin!"

    hahaha Matt's classic.

  • I got no problem with god, just his his fan club.

  • I'm mad at Shmeigl from the Lord of the Rings historical account because he betrayed Frodo for his .. 'precious'

  • There's a reason not everyone is atheist. People like Matt (who was southern baptist) demonstrate that it takes a strong will and sound, nay, higher and intellectual, mind to overcome the pull of devotion to religion. It is very hard to argue the point of atheism to a theist. Like pushing shit uphill. For the rest of us atheists it's just 'the way' because it seems obvious. We may even be one of those weak minded people - me, I cant debate as well as Matt (but I can account the fuck out of him!)
